The atmosphere is comfortable, cozy and friendly. There is a side for pick up business and the other side was for sit down, bar service and video gambling games. The bartender, Abby was friendly, attentive and as nice as they come. The pizza we ordered was great. What a nice place to relax, drink and eat. The bar is small and quaint. There were multiple tvs to view, cool music playing in the background, and funny meme signs throughout. It was a very positive experience and we will be back. Both times we all commented that the pizza tastes different,and the cheese is different ! Love their normal thin pizza. Had to try out their pan and stuffed. Pan was good but I really enjoyed the stuffed! Those style pizzas take a little longer to cook but they set expectations upfront and kept to the time they promised. Good service at this take out place and the food is pretty good too they have big slices of pizza for lunch. I get the meatball sandwich and it's delicious with sweet peppers and cheese. This is an existing business, predominantly pizza, who recently had their grand opening upon expansion. We attended the opening. Several pizzas were available for sampling. All met expectations. The expansion provides dining in and a small but very friendly dine-in area with bar service. Wine was priced reasonably. Gaming also has been added. After grand opening we ordered other options. What a terrible experience. I never leave bad reviews and always allow any place a second chance but wow. Ordered 1 small thin crust pizza, 1 medium thin crust pizza, a BLT and side of fries. Called to check on order after an hour and 20 minutes and was told that our order was ready and waiting for the driver to return to pick it up and deliver. I was assured the food would still be warm upon arrival. As I figured, everything was ice cold and the BLT had the amount of crumbled bacon on it that you would use on a side salad as topping. I called and asked them to send us a new order that was warm enough to be edible and to add enough bacon to actually be considered a BLT sandwich. We received our order which was at least hot this time but the BLT I received is what is in the picture. Definitely would not recommend ordering the BLT unless you want a salad on a bun. Hair in food. This place has gone downhill. We ordered calzones and a Italian beef and found hair in the Italian beef then we found hair in one of the calzones. Not sure what was happening in the kitchen that night... We threw everything out. Nasty!!! We called thinking they would want to work with us given that we have ordered from them with no problems from us for years. Even though problems have started mounting recently, orders not correct, Leaving things off the order and still charging us more than a few times and food quality has gone way down. We were given the run around when asked for a refund for the disgusting experience. They said all they could do was credit the cost for next time. I then phoned in to them to see if they were even open to which they had been and placed my order. Since the online order fiasco. I forgot to mention the promo code for 25% off (electronic coupon, my oversight) That I had received via e-mail and then I called back immediately and was denied my discount, as it would change my order since my Credit card was already charged that quickly. I am surprised by all the negative reviews, I live in Pingree Grove and we don't have a lot of pizza places that deliver. When Papa Saverio's opened in Huntley and we were able to get delivery we were very excited for somewhere new to try. Since then they have been our go to spot for pizza and wings. I see a lot of mixed reviews and I am a little surprised as we have yet to have bad service and the delivery is also fast and accurate. I don't review a lot of places but I think this place is not accurately being described (at least from my POV). Just moved to the area. My son would eat here in middle school. The location on Randall would allow me to order his food and pay for it on my way home from work. I stopped patronizing the chain due to my last encounter they were outright rude. Have not made a purchase at any location since 2005. Moved back to the area and tried this location at the bequest of my son. He had the sausage and cheese with mushroom I ordered the vegetarian with added broccoli, red onions and spinach. I was very disappointed. The tomatoes had the white shoulders on ALL of them. It had to be seen when they made the pizza who wants to eat that! Ugh....No one! It was not cheese I bit into it and it was hard as a rock. It was over 1/2 my pizza. I gave three stars because the sausage, mushroom and cheese was excellent. Per my son who ate it. This pizza used to be very good. Today and last time we ordered it, not up to the standard of before. Both times the crust was soggy. Today way too much sauce put on it. We could tell how the sauce gooed off edge because that part of the crust was black underneath. In the past the crust was always nice and crisp. Not anymore. This place is awful. We ordered 2 pizzas and waited an hour for them. They only sent one pizza and we weren't going to wait another hour for them to correct the mistake. We opened the box and..go figure the pizza isn't fully cooked. The dough was still raw and the cheese wasn't fully melted. We called the place right away so we could get our money back since we just threw the pizza out. Now they're telling us that they can send replacement pizzas or give us a $10 credit. We're not waiting another hour for mediocre pizza and we don't want a credit for a different pizza. Now I'm a manager in the restaurant industry and I understand there are people out there who will say anything to get their money back or try to get free meals. But, what about the honest people who truly do have a bad experience? I placed an order for delivery, part of which was 24 plain boneless chicken wings. The order arrived, and I received 24 bone in chicken wings. The receipt states right on it that I ordered "boneless" wings. I called the restaurant right away and asked to speak to the manager, and was placed on hold. After awhile I hung up as I was never taken off hold. I called back again. Again I was placed on hold for awhile. Again, no one picked up so I hung up. I called again, and right away was placed on hold. No one took me off hold again... I called again and asked to speak to a manager before I could be placed on hold, and was told they are very busy and I need to hold. After all of these calls, I never was able to speak to a manager. No manager called me back either. It's bad enough that they sent the incorrect order, however, having a rude person answer the phone makes matters worse. I ended up driving to the restaurant to take care of the matter, after having paid a delivery charge. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will not be returning. Yesterday my niece experienced car problems within the parking lot that papa saverios shares. I went to help her get the vehicle running but was unsuccessful. I then contacted a tow truck to take the vehicle to the dealership. The ordeal took about 3 hours. The owner/manager (sorry I don't know which) of papa saverios witnessed me struggling with the vehicle, came out to the parking lot and out of the kindness of his heart offered me a meal for no charge. I thanked him for his kindness but declined his offer. He then said that my effort deserved something and not many problems can't be solved with a slice.
