My friend ordered organic broccoli crowns for our dinner. The third photo shows what she expected to get. The first photo shows what she got. Can you believe that? The two broccoli 'crowns????', priced $3.29 each, weighed 11.4 oz, and cost $6.58. The actual usable 'crowns' weighed 3.5 oz. She was charged 3.26 times the value of what she got, or $21.43. First time in this particular Rosauer's . . . Refurbished, this store looks great and has all of the things that Rosauer's is known for: a supermarket with an upscale image, a lot of fine products that most stores don't have and a fine selection of generic brands and the weekly sales which allows me to save money! This particular stop was for the coffee shop. Not as large as the 29th Rosauer's, the coffee was still good and the blueberry scone was awesome. Scott that the house medium roast and a bear claw and was very happy as well. More seating would be nice, but otherwise no complaints. read more

Fancy Shmancy Rosauers offering the best of both worlds. Middle of the road mass market groceries alongside craft specialty items and a better than average selection of organic / "natural" products. Service is pretty impressive. When the cashier asked if I'd found everything I was looking for I ventured that I couldn't find Pita Bread. Not only did he know exactly where it was, he ran and got it for me! BOOM! They will also cheerfully bring your groceries out for you and take back the cart. This is especially helpful when you've got a couple of obnoxious kids and you're harboring dangerous thoughts of releasing them down the Monroe St hill and letting an indifferent God sort it out. read more

We do much of our shopping at this Rosauers. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, with a few notable exceptions, which are enough to dampen an otherwise pleasant outing. Very often the younger 'ever so clever and pretty' staff at the checkout stations don't even say "Hello," or even look you in the eye. Yesterday, for the first time, I bought a package of meat that had already been cut: Porterhouse Pork Chops, on sale at $1.99. Those that were visible were indeed, Porterhouse Pork Chops. The 2 chops on the bottom, that weren't visible, were not. They weren't even what one would call t-bone pork chops, as there was no fillet at all. That they were well hidden exposes that they were cleverly packaged to get rid of the less desirable bone-in pork chops. That kind of pettiness is very annoying and creates mistrust of the whole chain. The meat dept. managers dictate how the cuts are packaged. Do they become the dept. manager for their skill in deceit? If I ever again buy pre-cut meat at a Rosauers, I'm going have the "meat expert" unwrap it and show me what's on the underside. read more

Absolutely disgusted by the lack of sanitation occurring in these stores during a PANDEMIC. Only 1 out of 4 produce employees had gloves on. They were bare handing all the produce and the store manager whom I spoke with did nothing about it. People are DYING from novel coronavirus and this is a public health emergency!! Last week I went to the other location on 14th and the same thing was happening. Bakery personnel, produce personnel, meat departments...nobody wearing disposable gloves, just bare hands all over our food supply. !!! I am calling the health department now. Service here is outstanding. The checkers remember your name and ask you about your day. There is this one gal in the deli, Elizabeth, she's amazing!! She remembers that I don't like coleslaw and that I prefer pasta salad. That is the way to keep customers! They are remodeling right now, so it's a bit of mess. Typical small grocery store with a pharmacy. They have almost everything you need & prices are comparable to your local safeway. I used to come here for fresh Cyrus O'leary's pies & cheesecakes... but they are now all in the frozen section! =( They don't deliver fresh anymore because I heard they weren't making enough from that so they are now all frozen. I recently had some car issues so I had to take a cab to the store. As usual, I went to the Rosauers on 14th and lincoln. With the meter running on the cab, I quickly picked up what I needed for the Labor day holiday. Upon checking out I requested the ribs I got be put in a separate plastic bag in case they leaked. When I arrived at home i discovered that the ribs did not make it. Having had waited an hour for the first cab, I called the store to see if they could do anything. I got a very friendly Steve M on the phone who is a manager. I explained my problem and Steve M put me on hold. He came back on said he had my ribs and what is my address. Five minutes later Steve was pulling in my driveway in his shiny Chevy Silverado with my ribs in hand. Outstanding customer service! I really like their new remodel, and I'll be back in more often now! The aisles are easier to navigate and it made for a nice grocery experience. I'm generally a fan of the Rosauers/Huckleberries/Super One stores, and a big reason why is the super helpful staff. The produce staff especially was so kind. Great prices here and I like the fact that I didn't feel like I was wandering around in a massive-airport-sized store to get the essentials of milk, bread, avocados, etc. Low key place to snag freshies for your pantry! read more

I spent 25 years in the grocery business. I showed up here from out of town to get some shopping done. This may very well be the cleanest store I have ever seen in my career. The shelves were well stocked, the store was spotless, and the staff was very friendly. read more

This supermarket is in walking distance from the house that I rented. The prepared foods tasted good especially the soup. My son fell in love with the pumpkin soup even though he hardly eats pumpkin. The price is average but some promotions were attractive. read more
