My straps were too big on me and very loose on my back. Judy stitched it well and told me she left the extra fabric in case I ever needed to loosen it again. Judy's store is small and packed. However, there are many clothing items ready to pick up or be worked on. You can see she's been doing this business for a long time. Friendly, assertive, and to the point. Now I have a go-to spot for alterations! Parking is available along the side street, and pay the meters. I paid in cash, and I didn't check to see if all forms of payment can be used.

However, the issues with the dresses once they came in for a number of the bridesmaids seemed to never stop. Let's start with quality. It wasn't good. Not only was my dress of poor quality and felt cheap (even though it was over $200). Some were fraying at the seems when we Got them. My dress had a slit that ended up ripping ON THE WAY TO THE CHURCH. I had it on for literally 5 minutes when it ripped. Next, sizing. Some bridesmaids' dresses were either too large or too small. I had to order 3 sizes larger than my normal when measured at this location at the employee's recommendation. No biggie but when the dress came in on man was there a whole lot of extra fabric. The chest area alone was so large that I could have stored snacks in there during the wedding if I left it as is. I had to get a seamstress to completely alter the top of my dress so it would fit, maybe taking out 2 inches from each side of the chest area, removing the cups all together and then having to figure out a way to roll over the fabric over the poor quality boning that lined the front of the dress as it created a weird rolling of the lining on the outside of the dress. It was almost a different top from when we started. Timing. We were told the dresses would come in at an estimated time frame obviously month out, time frame was like a few weeks grace period, and as that time neared the end, we still hadn't heard anything. They didn't return my calls about this but called the bride instead. She didn't give you her money for this dress, I did so I don't know why you were calling her back instead of me. From quality alone, I don't think I would order from this place again. I know they don't make the dresses but with the amount of issues from the dress once I paid for it just never seemed to end.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist with extremely high standards, so I went into this very critical -- I knew exactly what I wanted. I had a nightmare trying to find a dress for my bridal shower (I'm plus sized, much wider on the bottom than the top, so I had to size up and was terrified it would never look right). The tailor here is phenomenal. She knew exactly how to cut and fit it so the pattern stayed perfect and the length was super flattering. She completely transformed the dress to look like it was made just for me. Yes, she's expensive, but absolutely worth it -- she's an expert, and I'd follow this woman into war!

So as soon as I got my dress, I went hunting online and found Wonhee. She is extremely patient and nice and obviously knows what she is doing. We brought her not only my wedding dress but a reception dress as well as my mother's dress. She recommended that she change the buttons on the back as they were too flimsy and gave me a beautiful bustle and altered straps. My mother and I were worried that it was too tight but she knew what she was doing because in the end it looked beautiful and fitted and didn't put too much pressure on the delicate straps to hold the dress up. She brings her expertise and makes recommendations that would never even come into my mind. For that, i am extremely thankful for her guidance and how she put our minds at ease.
