Another five star review for Rose Cleaning Service! Our apartment was in dire need of a deep clean. I even wondered if one cleaning session would be enough...Rose to the rescue! Rose first came out to assess, to see how much she would need to charge / how long it would take. It ended up being $150 / roughly four hours. Every time from here on will be $110. $150 well spent! Everything - and I mean everything - is sparkling, which is unfortunately not a word I've ever used to describe our kitchen or bathroom (there are 4 of us, and since I've lived in this apartment, it has never been professionally cleaned - that's over 2 years, so...yeah). With surprise and delight, I keep finding things that Rose and her husband cleaned - ALL of the grout in our bathroom, the laundry soap bottles, the inside of the microwave... We were blown away with the first deep cleaning that Rose's cleaning service did. The place sparkled and never looked better. They cleaned everything, under the couch, the baseboards, the windows, even the teapot was shinning. Since then, we have continued to use them on a monthly bases as a cleaning "maintenance" and they do a great job. If I want them to focus on specific areas of the house they will do a deeper clean. We had someone other than Rose clean our apartment that we moved out of. I sent pictures of the apartment and was given a quote and also a list of what they do, and I also asked for if they could clean a few other things in which they said yes and will try to do walls. My husband was there at the end and had to point out that none of the drawers or inside the cabinets were cleaned, in which he was met with a sigh and I believe they reluctantly did so after that. This was part of what they claim they do. He asked about the sticky childproofing and was met with another sigh, and they only took one off of many. He asked about on top of cabinets and stairs and they say they don't do that (above the cabinets was something extra I asked and they responded yes), and the stairs - well I didn't ask but it's part of the apartment and you'd think they would at least sweep it because it's for a move out. They did a surface job and it was mediocre, did not seem to care about the work, was rude about the work they had to do, which is part of their job, and then complained about being there too long already when it was at the 3 hour mark that they say it would take. I also get a question in the middle of cleaning about the place being a final construction and that they don't do that, which I had asked them to clarify but they never did. It was for a move out, and we even sent pictures, so no idea what she was talking about. They promise and write about a lot more of what they will do for you, but fall way short in our case. Very disappointing, would not recommend. I told the owner what type of job was done, but never got a response after the job was done. Before the job, the communication was quick, and then I guess they do a mediocre job, take your money, and that's that. read more

Two cleanings in and so far so good! The first cleaning was amazing, I didn't even recognize my apartment. Our bathroom mat had been sucked into the vacuum cleaner so there was a bit of fraying there but everything else was great! Very thorough cleaning and attention to detail. Rose has been cleaning my house for over a year now, every other week, and I'm delighted that she now has a listing on Yelp, so that I can put in my word of support. She does an excellent job of the cleaning itself, her prices are moderate, and (most important to me) she is always on time. Maybe twice in the past year she has called to say she may be late, or to request a different time slot. I have tried several cleaning services over the years, and there have always been issues of one kind or another. Prices are too high, or they don't do a great job, or - and this is the most common - there are ongoing dramas with them being late, or having to change times frequently. For me, the simple fact she is reliable and consistent, so that I can plan my life, is solid gold. The biggest challenge is language - Rose herself doesn't speak English very well - but that's a very minor issue, really. These are good, responsible people and you will not regret having them in your home, and in your life. read more

Rose is amazing! First of all she replies super quick to quotes and text messages. She is always on time, and most importantly the house looks incredible when she leaves. I trust her implicitly with my stuff as well as to lock up the house when she is finished! She has a key! She is easy to talk to and give instructions to. Pretty horrible experience. They screwed up multiple times on where to meet and what time to meet. The cleaning job was poor as they didn't wipe down the fridge, the floors were dirty, the window blinds and sills were also dirty. I had to clean it again. To make matters worse, they screwed up the second appt I had already scheduled with them and then they just cancelled. I would NOT use them again unless you want to waste your time. read more

Wow! These two were amazing!! I have two children and work 6-8 shifts a week so lately I have been battling between having a clean house or spending quality time with my kids. I don't get home from work until 1-2am usually so I am too tired to clean when I get home. Saturday's are mostly dedicated to laundry and play time and as a result my house has become pretty dirty in every little nook and cranny you could possibly think of. When I was pregnant with my youngest I hired a cleaning service for the first time and was not really satisfied with the work they did. These two exceeded my expectations and then some.
