I've been seeing him for years and he never, ever disappoints. I have unquestioning confidence in his skill. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 3 years, and because of it my teeth are in pretty rough shape. I finally have insurance, but after a terrible experience with my last dentist's lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism, I was hesitant to make an appointment with a new practice. I WAS SO WRONG! After my first visit I was floored! The space itself is inviting and warm, and I was actually slightly upset that I wasn't asked to sit in the waiting area for more than 45 seconds. I was checked in (and out) by a very nice young lady named Sierra, who immediately made me feel welcome and at ease. I was taken into the exam room by Amber, who was so attentive and kind as she took my X-rays. She explained every step of my visit and constantly made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Hageman is wonderful. He quickly came up with a step-by-step plan to address all of the problems I'm having. I mentioned that I worked in the healthcare industry and after my exam he gave me a tour of the office and showed me all of their new equipment and updates they're making! I've been a patient of Rose Dental for over 20 years. It was always an okay practice - nothing special. Now, however, I feel it is a great dental practice. They seem to be using state of the art tech, like a digital X-ray and same day tooth caps. The stodgy old dentists are all gone, replaced by three younger dentists. I am being treated by one and I feel he very much knows his business. Even the waiting room chairs are new and more comfortable. I highly recommend this dentistry. read more

I visited Rose Dental several times. Dr.Hageman installed a crown. It was very quick, and painless. He made the crown Within the hour. He matched the color of the crown to the adjacent teeth. My experience yesterday was exceptional. I needed an emergency appointment for an abscessed tooth. I called the office in the morning and explained the situation to the office receptionist Sierra , and within minutes she had talked to Dr. Chen and they worked out a time for me to be seen a few hours later in his office. Dr. Chen is an excellent dentist. He has hired professional staff which is evident from the front office to his dental assistant Michelle. Dr. Chen used the latest diagnostic tests to evaluate my tooth and explained the options in detail. During my procedure, Dr. Chen and Michele kept me informed , talking with me to ensure I wasn't feeling any pain. I never felt rushed and had all of my questions answered intelligently and politely. Dr. Chen called me at home last night, at 8pm to see if I was doing well. He really cares about his patients! If you are looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend you contact his office. Rose Dental has been my family's dental office for several years. They have always been kind and courteous to us on our visits. They are not pushy and don't try to force any procedures on their patients. Their billing staff (especially Debbie) are superb! Recently we have been seeing Dr. Hageman. He is fairly new to the practice and is fitting right in with their positive attitude and he has wonderful bedside manner. I would recommend this practice in a heartbeat. read more

Dr. Hageman is relatively new to Rose Dental and has really breathed new life into this practice. My husband had had some trouble with work by a previous dentist at the practice and Dr. Hageman fixed the issue permanently, and for free. He came in on a day off to deal with the emergency, and was attentive, competent, professional, and really just wonderful. I recently saw Dr. Hageman got a standard checkup after a cleaning. He explained any issues in plain English, he did a neck and head check. He was just really comprehensive and good. I had a great experience at Rose Dental. Dr. Hageman was professional and knowledgeable. He seems to have a genuine interest in his patients. I especially appreciated the fact that he took the time to explain everything he was doing. One important item to note is that there was potentially additional work he could have done and charged me for but but gave me the option as to whether I wanted it done or not. He explained that it could help but was not necessary so long as I continued to care for my teeth properly. It is not often that I have seen this type of honesty in the dental profession. Fabulous dental office. All of their staff is polite and helpful. The dentist and assistant did a really fantastic job on my fillings! Their attention to detail clearly saved me grief. They were also attentive to my comfort with the procedure and explained things before hand and as we went along. The hygienist did a great cleaning and gave me a few pointers. I have been going to Dr. Champaka Lakshmi at Rose Dental for about 2 years, and she is very good. She explains everything well and is willing to answer your questions. She doesn't seem rushed and takes her time looking at your teeth. She also did a great job filling 5 or 6 cavities I had developed after previously not going to a dentist for years. The dental assistants are also very skilled and nice, as are the office staff. I'd say the only complaint I have about this office is that sometimes the wait is pretty long. Went here for a year and a year to many in 2011. Dr. Pierce who is not retired which is a good thing because he was horrible. If trying to find a dental malpractice lawyer in this area that's not in NYC was possible I might have sued these hack jobs. I went in there with good teeth. I spent years as a teen at an orthodontist to have great aligned teeth. They did not fully explain the work they said needed to be done. Much of the work they said was required I feel was made up to bill the insurance for more. They ruined the tips of my front top and bottom teeth. EVERY tooth they touched has now failed and the work had to be redone. I am lucky I haven't lost any of the teeth but they are overly sensitive front teeth no longer have the enamel they should have at my age due to the work they did and what had to be done to repair their hacks. Stay far away from this place. read more

My husband had been seeing the same dentist for years and it was same routine cleaning, fix a cracked tooth, repaired fillings that kept falling out. When he presented with back teeth pain He was told he needed a mouth guard from grinding teeth at night. That's when eventually I got him to switch to Rose dental (which he was a previous patient as a child). We made the appointment and immediately the same receptionist (Debbie) had been there 30 years and remembered him and his whole family as children, what a welcoming and pleasant surprise. We both saw Dr. Hageman. He's a young enthusiastic doctor and very eager to help. He immediately got him in to have 2 root canals and fixed 2 fillings and then after his mouth and teeth were healthy again he focused on giving him a new smile. He had genetic pitting in the front teeth and Dr. Hageman got him 6 new crowns and changed his smile and confidence forever. If you have any sort of mental illness these people will NOT work with you my experience at this place was past horrid , from showing up to my appointment and no being told "no doctors are here today" to a tec injuring me by using the wrong type of x-ray film , they dis not listen to my concerns and told me " the only way we work on people like you ( ie mental ill) is full sedation I would not recommend this to any one even if they were desperate read more
