After 10+ years of coming here, I will not be returning.. Hopefully it reaches the new eye Doctor, Dr. Bailey. He should know of his employees attitudes because they are driving loyal customers away. Dr. rose would be ashamed. I loved this place so much so that I drive 2 hours to still come here specifically. However, I'm appalled by the very rude service from today, by not just one lady, but two. I was told I could come in whenever to get my glasses and get them fitted, just not during 12-1. And then they got upset with me that I came in at 10:30. I left. When I called to tell of my displeasure with the way I was spoke to, the office lady then started getting rude with me and having an attitude as well. I do have the full thing on video, thankfully, so anyone can see that I was very professional about it, like they should have been. If they got a new office lady and a new optician or tech (whichever she is) then I'd consider coming back. The other lady I spoke to was nice about the whole thing, although she tried make excuses for their behavior by saying there was a miscommunication. And if that's so there is absolutely a nice way to approach that. I was told I could come in at any time but they just wanted to put me on the schedule for that morning so they know to expect me at some point that day. So she told me she'd put me down for 9:30 but I could be however late, it didn't really matter. Don't tell me that, if when I come in I'm met with a hostile environment by another worker. Not just that but first they tried to just hand me my glasses at the door and send me on my way. When they knew I was gonna come in for a quick fitting. On a side note I was suppose to be called when my glasses arrived and I had to call up there to find out they came in. I didn't even care about that so much, just the rudeness of the employees. I mean the one who does fittings has always been unpleasant and never friendly but she's never been straight up rude and mean to me until today. And that doesn't deserve second chances. I'm so upset that I just lost my favorite eye clinic. But that behavior is unacceptable and very unprofessional. read more

What a horribly ran clinic. I was so happy to get my 85 year old father in law an appointment that wasn't months out. When making the appt the lady was quite helpful and I gave her his insurance information and pertinent information over the phone. I was unable to take him to the appt so my husband took him today. They showed up on time. They were handed a bunch of paperwork to fill out- much of what I had already done over the phone. Then they told him he was responsible for an uncovered service. My husband was not prepared for that so he called me to ask about it. They had me on speaker phone and I was explained that they failed to confirm his benefits before he arrived and ultimately I agreed to have them bill us. Then, because now they had wasted so much time they said he was late and on top of that, the Dr no longer wanted to see him because he called me and "questioned" her practice. My husband was extremely upset, my 85 year old father in law was not seen, and this was after 30 min of time wasted just driving there, rescheduling his home health to accommodate and then wasting another half hour there while they confirmed benefits even though that should have been done at the time of scheduling. Any business should be forthcoming about monies owed. It is sad that a clinic would treat a senior citizen like this and his family for that matter. Go elsewhere. There had to be a reason this was the only clinic that could get him in within a couple months. Now it all makes sense. read more

I would love to not have to give this review of Rose Eye Care located here in town. I have had the worst experience ever with these people! This place please avoid this eye care at all costs! I was threatened to have the police called on me when my insurance did not pay for my exam after they had called and said the insurance would cover it! I was treated the worst ever that i have been in this town! This place everyone here in town needs to know that this place is not L.G.B.T.Q friendly in the least!!! When my wife showed up to pay the bill that we were notified of this same today being today my wife was told that if we didn't pay it that they would call the police! For a matter that wasn't our fault! This all happened in one day! They were paid in the same day! Yet, for something that could have been avoided like a insurance issue they insisted that because I had the service that if I didn't pay that they would call the police! I liked the people and atmosphere but things changed and it was easier to get an eye doctor closer to home.

Just to add they don't even take my insurance. Better leave them alone people. Very overpriced, and first off invitingly rude.

I got a very comprehensive eye exam by Dr. Rose and she was personable, knowledgeable and friendly. I purchased two prescription glasses, business lenses and sunglasses. Their selection of designer and budget frames is large. There's definitely something for everyone. I love both of my choices. They took about 2 weeks to come in, which seems a little long, but I am not sure that is something within their control. I had to go back to get the frames adjusted a couple times and each time the staff was friendly and accommodating to my schedule. I'd definitely use them again. read more

If this is the place located on the service road next to Best Buy and off of Higdon Ferry in Hot Springs, Arkansas, they are unfriendly, expensive, and unwilling to work with even Blue Advantage Insurance. Their selection is rather limited too. read more

Just got new glasses at the best clinic I've ever been too. If you're in the Hot Springs area I HIGHLY suggest Rose Eye Clinic. This place is AWESOME! Rose did tests I've never had before checking my eyes. And Debbie helped me find the perfect frame.... and gave me tic tacs. Yeah, you heard me... tic tacs. My mouth was dry. Beware of doing business with Rose. She bought a retinal camera from me on Ebay and then had the bank cancel the $2200 payment after it was shipped. She claimed it wasn't working when she received it, but I had taken a photo right before packing it up (see attached image). I had also offered free pickup to the potential purchaser, which shows I wasn't afraid to demonstrate its use. It was insured for its value, but Rose didn't bother to contact UPS about it--she just cancelled the payment and hasn't even attempted to send it back. This place sucks. Waited 2 weeks for trial contacts. The lady called to let me know they finally came in. We live 25 miles away and told her we would be in that afternoon to pick them up. She replied "Great we will see you then." When I went in to pick them up....oh no you have to make an appointment. I can't just give them to you I will get fired. We tried to tell you you need an appointment but you wouldn't let us. You need to leave now or I'm calling the police. Stick your contacts I'm going to Walmart where there is no 2 week wait or appointment to pick up. read more
