Okay so I'm here right now. What better time to write a review when it's nice and fresh in your mind?? I decided to go here cause I was trying to shop at Ghetto Hilltop Mall and I was very disappointed that I couldn't find anything. So here I am at Rose Le Nails getting a pedicure. As soon I walked in they didn't greet me. I waved at one of the ladys and she happily said, "Hello! What can I do for you today?" I told her I needed a pedicure so she gets the water ready for me, so i take my socks and shoes off and plop down into a dirty massage chair that hardly works and dip my feet in the lukewarm water. Well, what did I expect?!?! It's frigging Richmond, duh it won't be a nice quaint little nail shop!!! It took about fifteen to twenty minutes for her to start on my pedicure. So during this time I'm watching some Vietnamese soap opera. So the lady finally starts doing my toes and she's doing her thang. Then......... you guys ready for this?!?!?!?! She takes the pumice rock from her coworker, which was just used on this old mans feet who had eagle claws and was about to scrub the heck out of my feet!!!!!! No joke. I had to tell her that I am not letting her put that unsanitary thing on my feet (: Itold her quietly :). So she asked if I wanted her to use a new one and I was like... HELL YEAH!!!! However, I really said "Yes please." Now Im sitting here waiting for my sanitary french pedicure to dry. I agree that this place is over priced for what they offer in terms of service as well as product. And I will not return here...EVER! They get one star cause she did do a pretty good job at the French tip :) read more

I went to this place for the first time last week for a full set and pedicure, and can I tell they are NOT, I repeat NOT worth it. The pedicure was ok, but the full set was CRAP!!! The were shorter than what I asked for originally, crooked and all different lengths. On top of that they were lumpy and chunky at the tips and the girl doing my nails had to ask for help to TRY and fix them ...... mission not accomplished. Now I decided to get white tips ASSUMING it would cost about 3-5 dollars more, it was $8 and for a super short set it was $22 so that was way to much for my taste. The Pedicure,with design, was $30 not to mention there foot massage was WHACK!!! To top it off 2 days later they slowly started lifting and chipping. with in 6 Days I took them off. This place is way over priced if you want to get a French manicure. It's $5.00 more for the French tips and the tips look like crap. The lady who did my nails just placed 2 coats of white nail polish then took out the brush to remove the excess. But after looking at the shape I told her that I didn't like it and wanted it to be a little bit thinner. I'm not a fan of half of my nail white and the rest normal. I was already disappointed and told her that I would rather just pick a solid color since her style of French tips weren't something I liked. She said she would be able to fix it. She made it thinner, but I still didn't like the final output. It looked like something I could have done myself. For $20.00, this is not the best place to go. And on top of all this, the next day the tips of my nails which should have stayed white, turned into a peachy like color. I would never go here again, just because I know that the nail shop by my work only charges $10.00 for a French manicure and the lady places the French tip with out putting thick lines then removing it with a brush. And it doesn't change colors the next day. I pretty much wasted 20.00 since I removed the nail polish 2 days after because my nails looked dirty. This place is a disappointment! Totally! I was here b/c Jovance asked me to wait 40 minutes for a pedicure, so I decided to just go next door that I don't need to wait. Big mistake! My ever first Pedicure that came out with bleeding toe :( And seriously, she was not even attempted to let me know in first place. I have to tell her my big toe is bleeding and then she started to do something to stop the bleeding. She apologized, but hack no I'm not coming back, EVER!!! When I was back to my car, my toe start to bleed again. I have to go home and rinse it with ice cold water and apply disinfectant myself. I am so worried that I would get infection since this is really not the most sanitized place ever. It ruined my day!!! read more

kinda ghetto. & you know its bad when you have suspicions about the degree of sanitation... i mean im sure they make enough money to afford some new decor? or maybe a new way to display the different colors they have, instead of carelessly painting acrylic nails and glueing them poorly onto a blank CD? i mean really? how much is a blank CD? like 10 cents? i know they must have some money cuz they do get business, probably not as much as they want though. if u wanna attract customers, make an effort to make your business appealing to the public. make us want to trust that you wont give us weird foot and hand issues. thank you! read more

I use to LOVE this place but stopped a few months ago because they did a horrible job with my eyebrows. I use to always get my eyebrows waxed here and loved it. I don't know what happened but they did a horrible job...I literally had to get it redone. I told the girl I wanted thin and arched but she didn't give me any of that. I swear it looked like she didn't even do anything. The girl was nice but damn, if you can't wax eyebrows right...don't do it! read more

I really tried to give this place a 2nd chance but the nail service is horrible. The first time I got a fill my nails were different colors and my one of my nails came out crooked, and the second time my french manicure looked like a 10 year old did my nails. I had my eyebrows waxed and it was a disaster. My eyelids are burnt from the wax. I had my eyebrows waxed before and I knew it would be painful. But having them waxed here felt extra painful, like my skin was ripping. I looked in the mirror and it was so red. I wished that it'd be gone overnight. But days passed and it just got worse. I had my car serviced across the way and had some time to kill so I decided to get a pedicure. Long story short, they did a rush job and the polish was really sloppy. I had to ask her to clean up the sides for me several times. I even paid an extra $10 to do the deluxe pedicure and she didn't even massage my feet. I walked in to get my eyebrows done they said to come in ten minutes when the place was not even busy and three of the ladies were sitting there not doing anything. I came back in 10 mins to see if they could take me in. They looked at me up and down gave me a smug and told me to go to the room to wait on one of them. I should have listen to the yelp reviews she was nice at first but cut three different of my fingers to start then proceeded to make my nails weirdly misshapen proceeded to make me file my own nails after I was unhappy with what she did and then tried to charge me $50 after she had to repaint my nails twice because they kept bubbling read more

I've been going to Roses for years & have always been greeted & almost all the time have had great service , Rose has always fitted me in when I'm in a rush , & has even called me to make sure I was taken care of when she was not at the shop, I have went to other shops in the area & have not gotten the service that I do when I go to Rosé Le Nails . read more

I came in at 6:15 pm and in desperate need of a pedicure that would be a miracle because I suffer from bad ingrown toe nails on my big toe. With that said I was in really bad shape. My toe was a bit swollen and in pain. I came in and the owner Rose took care of me immediately. She sat me down and walked me through what she needed to do. She worked her magic and now I am pain free. She also applied an ointment in my toe so it soothes it. She sure knows what she's doing! I plan to be a frequent customer here. She fixed my toe nail! And her customer service was amazing. Made me feel welcomed. The environment was great. I recommend this spot to everyone!!!! Thank you so much for your hard work!!! read more

I agree with Renalen C. This place is ghetto. If you look at their facial room the type of curtain hanging there. So cheap and to cover the glass green nitted table cover thing doesn't look good at all. They should put some nice curtain with rod instead of that wire. Anyways lets come to the point i came at this place for eyebrows waxing.As i entered lady name Rose i think she did greet and asked how can she help me ? I told her needed eybrows waxing. This is by far the WORST nail shop i have ever been to. The acrylic was put on so thick on one hand, and the other hand the thumb nail was soooo much shorter than the other one it was visible. I kept telling her it was wrong, and she probably couldnt fix it, she got frustrated at me, and told me she didnt want to do my nails anymore, it was totally a waste of time, i had an hour before my husband got off work, and i figured id get my nails done..it took almost an hour to get that crap off my nails, and then she had the nerve to say, oh well, i wont charge, excuse me, ur damn right you wont charge me, I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN read more

the lady didn't add gel on the whole nail and she cut my fingers twice on both hands from filing with too much pressure and the shape isn't correct . the nails are slanted and the gel is lumpy . they have very little color choices. would not recommend! read more

I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! I got a full set with one of my friends and it was TERRIBLE. It was a man that did it. So he started glueing the nails on and didn't even ask what shape I wanted until I told him coffin cause he was about to just do square nails. And when I asked for short coffin he told me "it's hard to do short coffin nails" and so I said ok just a little shorter and he said ok but he made the one nail I guided him on the shortest nail (my thumb). But I kinda just went on my phone and let him do his thing hoping they would turn out better in the end. When he was drilling my nails he cut my cuticles soooo many times. None of the nails were the same shape not size. They were all kinda different. And I wanted yellow so he started painting but he put 5 layers on, not even giving them the chance to let them dry in the middle. They wouldn't dry (even after 2 hours) I even tried to soak them in cold water to help the process and it didn't work. They started smudging everywhere so I just redid my own nails and they look way better. So I left and have him a $5 tip out of courtesy. And not to mention in the beginning he told me it was $25 but later made me pay $30 because he said they were long nails so it was extra (but I asked for short coffin) and the lady that did my friends nails (his wife) had her pay $35. She payed with card and the lady said $30 and she charged her $35 and when my friend asked why she said "oh I thought he wanted to add a tip". PLEASE DONT GO HERE ITS A SHITHOLE :)) read more

Rose the owner is extremely unprofessional and rude, I guess I should have known better! Ive visited this nail shop several times in the past this was my 1st experience with Rose. Lena and the other lady usually do my nail and they do a excellent job they a super nice and very professional!!! On this occasion Rose was the only one available and I should have listen to the another client before me who refused to let Rose do her nails. She was upset and complained that Rose was rude and mean, she also said that she Rose continued to hang up the phone when she tried to make an appointment with someone other than Rose. At that moment I notice Roses smug look on her face while the lady was talking. I ignored it, Myself and another lady were next. I went to Rose the other lady went to Rose husband as I sat in her chair and not even 10min into the service a lady walks in with no appointment and asked for eyebrows and a face wax! Rose then said this is my appointment I'll be back let me help her really quickly, I waited 35-45mins as she did eyebrows and waxed this other customers face. Mean while Rose husband was near the end of the service with the lady getting the same thing as me. So curious I asked the customers husband what time was her appointment he said they were just doing some holiday shopping and they were down from Fairfield and this was his wife's 1st visit they were just walking by and decided to stop in she didn't have a appointment. So Rose came back after 35-45mins later and I noticed how she started to rush the job she seemed all over the place! She charged me 40$ for a gel manicure. It was last minute so I didn't complain I had a holiday concert to attend that night. As she began putting on the color I noticed she applied it differently from the others, they each said the weather played a part and that they need to make the polish warm to avoid any problems . When I asked Rose she said everyone is different. She did two coats on certain fingers and when I tried to say something she said it's okay, she just used the other side of the brush and neve dipped back in the bottle for more polish. This was on a Sunday and at this point I had already been in there 1 1/2hrs. That's night I notice that some of my nails started to bubble and by Monday they were pilling and the gel top coat was coming off the top! I had never before seen anything like that! I immediately went back Rose who agreed to fix them said she probably let them sit under the light to long and come the next day because she was busy and she suggested I call 1st before coming. I called and no one ever picked up and I to experience the hang up!! I finally just walked in. The 1st thing Rose said to me was I am lucky she didn't turn me away because I should have called 1st! I tried to explain I got hung up on and she accused me of lying said I couldn't have called her. She then proceeded to just put a top coat without taking the origin polish off. When I questioned how it would turn out she then said angrily "u lucky I even fix for u!" I asked if someone else could fix them she said yeah for 40$ more. So with an attitude she began to take off the polish just enough so that she could reapply the top coat one more time. She rushed again and the whole time I was there not a another customer entered I asked if she had another appointment and she said no they were slow!! So I was really concerned about my nails. When she completed them I said thank you very much and as I was digging in my purse attempting to tip her for even trying to correct her mistake. She yells at me and says to me "oh Thank me? your to picky u must have a problem, u probably just scratched your nails off cause u so picky!" Even though the bubbling was there and not all the nails polish was lifted and it was obvious she had said it before when her husband was present she made the mistake. I was just so out done by her accusations as long as the other ladies have been doing my nails I have never had any issues. She then walked off and yelled"I don't care I'm done with u go!"
