I first met Olivia in October 2017 , in anticipation for my wedding in February 2018. She is the first stylist to ever dye my hair. I was very nervous, I had been doing a gloss that strangely darkened my hair. She was patient, discussed options with me and she was able to get my color to how my hair was before. I visited her a few times after I booked her for my wedding. And I knew she was the perfect personality to spend the morning of my wedding with. In the months before the wedding I also texted her make up trial pictures to get her opinion. She listened to all my pre wedding drama and was supportive. . Olivia Robinson is a genius with color! I first met her when I was looking for someone who was skilled in blonde coloring. I'm a natural Ashy brown and I had gone blonde once before (ombré). This time I was looking for extensions and more depth to the blonde I'd be getting. I showed Olivia a few pinterest pictures (life saver) and she not only helped in my color choices, but assisted me when I bought the extensions. She was extremely helpful through the entire planning process and reassuring me that I made the right choices (it was a big change since I had never had extensions before). She was patient and funny and never made me feel like a burden. We chatted for a while about our lives and at the end I couldn't be happier with my new look! Plus, my boyfriend at the time loved it too! Fast forward to a couple years later, I still go to Olivia and this time I switched it up and she again was right here reassuring me and helping me finalize my decision. I found Olivia right here on Yelp in late 2011 for my July 2012 wedding. As part of my bridesmaids gift I also paid Olivia to do their hair! In the planning process she always answered emails, messages and texts. The thing that made me call her to begin with was another review here on yelp that said, 'she arrived earlier than they had talked about'. I was sold by that line alone. She also understood that I was working with a budget and the hair and makeup people that I kept reading about wanted $250.00 for the bride alone! I did not have money to spend like that. I went for my trial at the end of March and Olivia did a perfect job! She also cut my fiance's (now husband) hair. She's the only one who knows how to cut his hair! So on to the wedding day. She arrived at 8am to our hotel room to start everyone's hair. She stayed until we were almost ready to leave for the venue which was well after noon. Everyone looked great and Olivia fit in perfectly with my group. I feel like she is an old friend of the family that was there to share my special day with us! She knows how to work with my frizzy, curly, puffy hair...now all gone as i decided last month to go for a completely new look and chopped it all off... she still knows how to handle it. Olivia did my hair for my beach wedding and did an amazing job! I have fine/thin hair that is VERY unmanageable and never wants to do anything. Olivia not only understood what I wanted for my wedding day, she actually got my hair to curl and stay that way for the entire ceremony and reception.
