Had a terribly disappointing experience there. Found the perfect coffee table on display with a…read morenote on it that said something to the affect of "not available purchased 10/25/25" Well...it's now March 2026! and it is still on display! So in my mind, if it's still on display, it should be available after 6 mos of no pickup. Went to the desk and was told the person who "bought" the table moved out of state and I was assured they were coming to get it..... As a business owner myself, why would you risk disappointing a customer like that? If the item sold, take it off the floor, or put a SOLD sticker on it with no date. Then, to add insult to injury, you tell me the buyer is out of state and you are not even sure if they are coming to get the table but you won't sell it to me. How about we call the table buyer right now because I have cash in hand today to buy it? How about you don't say to me "Wow I know it's tough when you get your heart set on something." That's NOT helping, sir. What could have been a great ending has turned into a YELP review, and not a good one. Come on Liberty Hollow, do better!

It's one of those places where a lot of different people have little shops to purchase things from. Some things are newer and handmade, but there are a lot of old antique kinds of things, too. I've never been totally taken aback by a price so everything is mostly reasonable. Though, you can get the odd person who thinks that all their stuff is brand new or worth full price. I would say this is a great place to spend an hour or two looking around when you're not in a hurry.

The store itself is incredibly small -- I felt somewhat claustrophobic in there, especially when the wait for the fitting rooms took a while. Only big problem I have is that the staff are very strict with their rules and regulations, so I ended up running into a huge problem with that. About a few weeks ago is when the problem started when I was buying 3 identical items, two with a price tag and one without. (Price was the same on the two with the price tags.) I didn't know until I got to the register that one of the items didn't have a tag/was missing, so the cashier that was checking me out simply denied the sale and put it in the bin to recirculate through the system. Super frustrating. So I went back to the store a few times to see if it had recirculated, and I was just about to give up when I actually found it again about 2 weeks later. So I went up to the cash register, and the same cashier from last time was there. And when she was checking me out, the same exact frame that recirculated that I found again, guess what. Still didn't have a price tag. And so at that point I was so frustrated, I practically refused to leave the store until I was able to purchase the item. And when I called up the manager for help, I had to basically force the sale. Honestly ridiculous. You'd think that the staff would actually care about sales and customer service even just a little, especially the manager, but guess not. And to top it all off, the item was a dollar. So moral of the story, check if the items you're buying have a price tag. And if they don't, have an employee help print a tag before you get to the register.

It's got a fun collection of vintage items but I did notice a few newer ones thrown in. My favorites were the vintage collectible snack tins. There's also lots of jewelry and glassware/vases. Some items are marked "firm" while others you can haggle over. The owner told me her daughter sources all the items from estate sales. Prices range from pretty cheap ($5) to more moderate.

Don't be fooled because you can find some gems hidden in the mess. A bulk of the furniture is located in an unheated section of the back barn which brings me to my main issue... NO lights!! You'll need to hunt for the switches if you want to look about. I tried flipping multiple sets of switches in the barn with no success. I had to use my phone flashlight. Overall it's an experience but I most likely won't return. Pricing was hit or miss... mostly a miss.
