I had the Hard Kombucha Cherry Hibiscus lime ‍ I enjoy cherries and I'm a huge fan of hibiscus, so no complaints with my drink choice. Grabbed a drink here recently during the lunch hours and it was a decent experience. We came a little early so the place was extremely empty when we were there. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have a slightly more lively atmosphere :) The bartender was nice and gave good suggestions on beers to try. Honestly, I was a little disappointed by the selection. Mainly just a bunch of IPAs as well as some lighter beers and sours, along with a whole bunch of non-alcoholic beverages. Not terrible by any means but I would have preferred more variety (where are my Belgian beers at?!). Prices seemed reasonable, and if you're hungry, you can have food delivered from the nearby chicken place. Overall, I may try hitting up Rosecomb again, but I'll probably come at a different time of the day. read more

I wanted to say 2 star today, but usually, it's a 4 star. Overall, it's a great place, with the only curveball being the live music aspect. When it's outside, the live music is great, but if it's warm outside, you'll have someone like "Johnny G" inside at 5 pm playing decent music but way too loud. Nothing I like more than walking in at 5 pm on a Saturday unable to hear someone basically shouting in my ear because neither he nor the staff think the volume should be adjusted for being inside. Heck, 95 degrees out, and we still considered moving outside. Beer is solid still, and BB's next door is great. If the music situation were changed, I'd feel better. read more

Visited while in town. This place was walking distance from our hotel so we were able to drink responsibly. There are several beers on tap as well as hard kombuchas, seltzers and even non-alcoholic options. There is live music, outside seating, and they're also kid and pet friendly. There's a restaurant next door for nice food options to go along with your drinks. There's bartenders were super friendly and they're also kid even allow you to sample the various drinks. Me and some friends stopped in here last night for a beer and really enjoyed it. They had a good variety of options, including non alcoholic options. So I think there is a bit of something for everyone. I got the Dssolvr Blah Blah Blast and it was delicious! I am a big Taco Bell fan and love Baja blast so I knew I had to try it. It had a great fruity flavor and was just like Baja blast but with alcohol. I'd definitely suggest it if they have it available. I do think they switch around their options though so it might not be available for long. The atmosphere was nice and open with seating inside and out. It's also dog friendly, which is always nice. Excited to drop into the new Rosecomb Beer Garden after their opening was delayed but I can say it was worth the wait! Rosecomb sports a modern and open space with a bar (wood paneling) on one end and a variety of tables (high-tops, 6-tops, couch) scattered about the main room. They have 20+ beers on tap and the options vary from basic domestic to NC craft beers and beyond. Beer prices are very reasonable to start with so enjoy! This location was built in a partnership with BBs Crispy Chicken so they share a common hallway and set of rest rooms. NOT a "Welcoming atmosphere". I'm writing with a heavy heart after a recent experience at your establishment that left our family feeling deeply hurt and excluded. We've always appreciated your space and have visited often, drawn in by your promise of being a welcoming, family-friendly environment. But during our most recent visit, that promise was broken in a way that was not only upsetting, but truly disheartening. Rosecomb promotes itself as a community-oriented, family-friendly space. Even on this page, it says "welcoming atmosphere". Unfortunately, this was not reflected in the behavior of the staff during our visit. A neurodivergent child in our group was spoken about negatively by staff--not just among themselves, but even to other patrons. Instead of being met with understanding or compassion, the child and their family were made to feel like a problem, like they didn't belong. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that they felt they had no choice but to leave, despite being paying customers just like everyone else and guests at the birthday party we were holding there. The entire party quickly ended because of the way staff treated the child and their family. Families with children--especially those with unique needs--should feel safe, supported, and respected when visiting public spaces. And this was not reflected this evening by staff. It's hard to put into words how painful it is to watch a child and their family be singled out and excluded for simply existing as they are. These moments matter. How we treat one another matters. And no one--especially a child--should be made to feel unwanted in a space that claims to be a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Sadly, this experience has changed how we see your business. We no longer feel comfortable returning, and that's a loss we didn't expect. We hope you take this message seriously and reflect on how these situations are handled in the future--not just for our sake, but for every family that walks through your doors hoping to be accepted as they are. I have been a loyal patron of Rosecomb for years, often inviting friends, coworkers, and business partners to join me here. I've always appreciated the atmosphere and have recommended it to many. Unfortunately, my recent visit -- which happened to be for my birthday celebration -- left me deeply disappointed. Rosecomb promotes itself as a kid-friendly establishment, but my experience this evening told a different story. When rain forced all guests indoors, I witnessed one of my friends and her young son -- a nonverbal, brilliant child -- being singled out and verbally confronted by a server simply for quietly walking around listening to music on his iPhone. His behavior was no different from any other child present, yet other children running through the space, flicking lights, or crawling under chairs were not addressed. Several patrons attempted to explain to the server how her approach could have been kinder and more understanding, but she dismissed these concerns, stating she was "doing her job." Singling out a child because they are neurodivergent is not only unfair, it is discriminatory. If "child-friendly" at Rosecomb only applies to neurotypical children, that is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Rosecomb, I urge you to ensure that your claim of being child-friendly extends to all children, or remove that claim from your branding. Rosecomb has always been a go-to spot for meeting with friends who have young children as it has always been advertised as "kid friendly". However, tonight the bartender made a comment to the parent of a neurodivergent child that made the mother and all of the surrounding group uncomfortable to the point where we felt the need to leave. This child was walking around the indoor space (as it was raining outside) with a phone listening to Christian music. I find this behavior from the bartender extremely disheartening and inappropriate from a place that considers themselves kid friendly. Due to this interaction, my friends and I will no longer be visiting Rosecomb again. read more

This new beer garden is located inside Parkside Town Commons and is connected to BB's Crispy Chicken. We stopped in to grab a beer and had an okay time. The service was a little slow and the beer was pouring very heavy so it was a touch warm. They do have a decent selection to chose from and they also serve wine. In the end it is a nice space. I like that the garage doors open up and that there is a good amount of seating available both inside and out. It will definitely be popular once the weather warms up. read more

We went to this place after the kids soccer game nearby. We wanted to find a place we could have drinks, food, sit outside and the kids could play- this was the perfect spot! The food was from BBs Crispy Chicken, you order from a QR code and they text you when to come get it, very short walk. The drinks were also ordered from a QR code and they brought them out to you! The rose was actually really good being it was a brewery, I am not a huge beer drinker. The kids had a lot of fun playing. There were dogs and a lot of people with children. Not great. Typical shopping plaza bar that calls itself a brewery. They do not brew beer. Beer was very warm & I had to have it poured out twice. I was the only customer. They had some teens in that were mall/store hopping, drinking soda & playing with the bartender. Bartender set on a stool at the corner of the bar the entire time, no interaction at all. No food other than next door at BB's which the menu looked like McDonald's to me. They do have a nice outside area that might be nice in the summer & the place seemed pretty clean. read more

The selection available is great, with something for everybody and the staff is very friendly and informative, providing excellent service. The interior has a great modern setup and decor with a variety of very comfortable seating options as well as games to just hang out and play at tables. But in reality, if the weathers good you'll likely want to use the open outdoor seating which is also great. Added bonus is that it is right next and semi-attached to BB's with QR codes at every table to order some food from there, which was all also quite tasty. I get the whole no server vibe, but have enough bartenders. Sat at the end... no one helped me. Watched them help people who walked to the middle of the long part many times just as they walked up. I moved over. When they asked what I needed, I pointed out the people at the end & left.
