    Several drinks on draft
    Scott J.

This was a cool spot to grab drinks with a friend. They had live music to enjoy and a large outdoor area. There was a fire pit. However it was more for decor than heat. If we lived closer, it might would become a favorite hang.

Visited while in town. This place was walking distance from our hotel so we were able to drink responsibly. There are several beers on tap as well as hard kombuchas, seltzers and even non-alcoholic options. There is live music, outside seating, and they're also kid and pet friendly. There's a restaurant next door for nice food options to go along with your drinks. There's bartenders were super friendly and they're also kid even allow you to sample the various drinks. Definitely a must whenever I'm in town.

Me and some friends stopped in here last night for a beer and really enjoyed it. They had a good variety of options, including non alcoholic options. So I think there is a bit of something for everyone. I got the Dssolvr Blah Blah Blast and it was delicious! I am a big Taco Bell fan and love Baja blast so I knew I had to try it. It had a great fruity flavor and was just like Baja blast but with alcohol. I'd definitely suggest it if they have it available. I do think they switch around their options though so it might not be available for long. The atmosphere was nice and open with seating inside and out. It's also dog friendly, which is always nice. The bartenders were really nice and let us try a few different things when ordering.

Excited to drop into the new Rosecomb Beer Garden after their opening was delayed but I can say it was worth the wait! Rosecomb sports a modern and open space with a bar (wood paneling) on one end and a variety of tables (high-tops, 6-tops, couch) scattered about the main room. They have 20+ beers on tap and the options vary from basic domestic to NC craft beers and beyond. Beer prices are very reasonable to start with so enjoy! This location was built in a partnership with BBs Crispy Chicken so they share a common hallway and set of rest rooms. Which also makes it easy for you to order up some food from next door to munch on with your beer! Overall a very nice spot and updated take on a beer garden.

This new beer garden is located inside Parkside Town Commons and is connected to BB's Crispy Chicken. We stopped in to grab a beer and had an okay time. The service was a little slow and the beer was pouring very heavy so it was a touch warm. They do have a decent selection to chose from and they also serve wine. In the end it is a nice space. I like that the garage doors open up and that there is a good amount of seating available both inside and out. It will definitely be popular once the weather warms up.

We went to this place after the kids soccer game nearby. We wanted to find a place we could have drinks, food, sit outside and the kids could play- this was the perfect spot! The food was from BBs Crispy Chicken, you order from a QR code and they text you when to come get it, very short walk. The drinks were also ordered from a QR code and they brought them out to you! The rose was actually really good being it was a brewery, I am not a huge beer drinker. The kids had a lot of fun playing. There were dogs and a lot of people with children. The outside was very comfortable open and cozy! I would definitely go back!

That made us laugh and we were thirsty so we decided to take a break from shopping. We parked at VF parking lot and discovered that their doors were locked even though the hours on the door said they should have been open. We noticed South Line Brewing right beside it and saw people so we walked across the parking lot. We were immediately greeted by some friendly patrons (looked like they were having an event) and went inside. The bartender asked us what we would like to sample and we quickly found a beer to our liking. We inquired about the brewery next door and she informed us that they were closed for good. (Not this brewery's fault, but how rude that there was no posting on VF regarding this!) We really enjoyed our time here. We had a couple of beers, got a burger from the food truck, and just relaxed and people watched. I got the Notorious Bean Coffee Cream Ale and it was delicious. I had two and they went down very easily LOL. The vibe was excellent. LOTS of different seating...kinda felt like hanging out in your best friends garage (only in the best way possible!) Even sitting inside felt like sitting outside and enjoying a nice summer afternoon. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stop by again!

They had a bunch of arcade machines, like a punching bag, a golf simulator, and a few other options. I also noticed they had some liquor behind the bar if people preferred mixed drinks versus beer :) Not useful for me, but I appreciate that they're prepared! I ordered a beer and it was solid. My wife and I chilled on the couch for a bit and it was pretty comfy. The bartender was nice as well. Overall, we had a pretty good time at South Line and would definitely consider coming back!

So...what's the actual name of this place? Bottles & Cans Beer and Wine Shop or Taps and Social?…read moreJudging by the signage and the receipt, it seems to answer to both. Either way, it delivers exactly what you'd hope for--a great selection of drinks in a relaxed, social setting. After finishing dinner at Shijiri, we had a little over an hour to kill before heading home, so we wandered over here. We decided to grab seats inside rather than on the front patio. The interior is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seating whether you prefer pulling up to the bar or sinking into one of the comfortable sofas. Our tasting lineup included the refreshing Sangria Slushy, Anderson Valley's Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout, and Komana's Hefe the Hefeweizen. While enjoying our drinks, we spent some time hanging out with Aria, the Bouvier des Flandres, who was incredibly friendly and happily accepted all the attention. She definitely added to the welcoming atmosphere. Before leaving, we couldn't resist browsing the shelves and ended up taking home a build-your-own six-pack featuring beers from 3 Floyds, Edit, Middle James, Two Tides, Grimm, and Anytime Beer Co. The selection is excellent for anyone who enjoys discovering craft beers beyond the usual grocery store offerings. Whether you're looking to enjoy a drink on-site, build a mixed six-pack to take home, or simply relax with friends (or make a new four-legged one), this place checks all the boxes. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

They had a pretty decent selection of beers available, and I was impressed that you could get pretty much any type of beer as a singleton (versus having to buy a 4 pack or whatever). I did feel like the refrigerated section could have been a bit larger, but they did have a few good choices in there. They had a big selection of beers available on tap, and while I didn't partake this time, I was kind of tempted by the quadrupel :) The bartender was nice and helpful throughout my visit. Overall, if you're in the area, this seems like a nice place to stop and grab a beer. I've seen slightly better selection of beers elsewhere, but I do think you could find something you like here :)

I've had the pleasure of visiting Fortnight a few times in my life - which is saying something…read moreconsidering I've only been to the Raleigh area a few times. Still, I always seem to find myself at Fortnight. And their beer has always been delicious, with plenty of varieties to sip from either on a cold December day or a blazing hot spring afternoon. They also have a lovely beer garden and, at least when I've been there, a tasty food truck on site. Staff is friendly, with self-service ordering at the bar (the line can definitely get long sometimes). I gotta say, the beer isn't always as cold as I would hope it would be - could be I'm just used to a different beer temp vibe here in the PNW. One ale I recently tried I had to bring back to the counter as it was so warm I thought I'd accidentally been given a cask ale. Oddly, they weren't really apologetic about it and were happy to charge me for a different (colder) beer, even though I'd only taken a couple of sips from the ale. Not the biggest deal, but worth noting that you might want to ask for a sample before committing to a pint, if for no other reason than to verify it's being served at a temp you like.

I went right after it opened so it was pretty empty during my visit, but there's a ton of seating (both indoor and outdoor!) and I can imagine it gets pretty busy at peak hours. Honestly, the beer was not my favorite (and didn't taste much like an IPA to me at least...) but I guess that's personal opinion :) The bartender was nice and the vibes were solid inside. Overall, there are a bunch of breweries in the Triangle, so I'm not sure I'd come back to this one as my first choice, but if a friend wanted to meet me here I wouldn't complain :)
