It's ALWAYS a good time! Me and my husband have been coming here since 2023. I try new things all of the time and haven't been dissapointed. Their drinks are also always great and the staff is so sweet. The vibes are great too. Basic sports bar energy. Lots of regulars which is a good sign always.

I received a birthday coupon for a free appetizer and since I'd never eaten here before I thought I'd give it a try. Nachos are a favorite that I can make a meal out of so thought that would be the perfect thing for me, and it was! The waitress was great and the owner's wife was super welcoming. There's 14 tv's if you're there to watch sports you're sure to find your game. Plus the black ceiling has tiny lights in it that look like stars. The waitress said during football season they can change colors to match a team's colors. Cute! Back to the nachos. I don't know how they chopped the tomatoes so tiny for the pico, but they did to a point that they're cute! Rather than melting shredded cheese on the nachos they use a white sauce, which is different. The pickled jalapeños were delicious. You have your choice of either chipotle chicken (also chopped very tiny) or beans. I got the chicken, which was just ok. I'd try the beans next time. It also comes with a cup of sour cream. They have two sizes of nachos and of course I got the bigger one. I ate a lot of it, but couldn't finish it all. It hit the spot!

Why have we not been here before !!! This is a great little tavern located in the Lowe's plaza at High House and Cary Pkwy. We had some delicious burgers, hand cut fries and cold beer. They have a great lunch special that we will try soon. Every day drink specials. Check the chalk board. Staff was friendly and helpful. Give them a try. You will be glad you did !!!

I would say 5 stars, but it's a new business, and still finding its sea legs. That being said, I haven't been to a new business in recent times that I didn't regret. I have to admit that I generally don't even review new businesses, because it is generally not fair, as it takes time to get into their funky flow. This place was different, however, although new, they truly cared about the place. The owner, Brian, was so excited and eager to please everyone, it was infectious! We only tried a few items, and had a couple drinks,, but the menu was designed by a veteran chef, Bruce, and has pretty much all you need for a new restaurant. We had the frickles (hot and delicious, but I prefer horseradish sauce), pint of honey siracha bacon, omg, and a French dip. Although the meat on the French dip was more well done than I prefer, you wouldn't notice. Honestly the best French dip that I have had in recent memory. The bread was soft and delicious, and the horse radish sauce on it with the au jus was perfect. Fries were great too! Couldn't stop eating then, darn it. Good job, and nice change to see a 2pm-2am spot to hang. Uber is going to get more business!

I've been to Parkway a couple times, I've never really been all that impressed despite other people telling me how good their food is. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong menu items but both times I got the burger. There's just something about the burger that I don't like. It's juicy and cooked properly, but it just has a very odd flavor to it with an off-putting aftertaste, I don't know if they put fish sauce in the meat or what, but I won't order a burger there again. This last time I ordered the fried potato salad as a side and went whole hog and ordered the mac and cheese appetizer. The mac and cheese was amazing but when it came out I assumed that they had just given me a side dish portion because it certainly did not appear to be worth anywhere near the $9 that they're asking for it, but indeed that's what it was! The so-called fried potato salad is odd, it's like fried breakfast potatoes with some kind of pimento cheese topping on it. It's not terrible, but I certainly wouldn't want to eat it again. Luckily their menu is fairly extensive so I'm sure one day I'll figure out something I like here

Pharmacy Bottle + Beverage nails the balance between neighborhood hangout and serious beer…read moredestination without ever feeling pretentious. The tap selection is honestly impressive -- taps galore with an ever-changing lineup that makes every visit feel a little different. I also love that you can enjoy a pint onsite and then wander over to the bottle shop side to grab some gems to take home. Dangerous for my wallet, fantastic for my fridge. The outdoor patio is spacious, relaxed, and full of happy people and happy dogs. Cary can always use more genuinely dog-friendly spots, and this place embraces it completely. Pups lounging under tables while their humans work through flights? Come for one beer, leave with a mixed 6-pack and at least three new dog friends.

We stopped by Pharmacy Bottle recently on a night out and enjoyed our experience there…read more First, parking was a little tricky since it was the weekend and the street spots in Downtown Cary were mostly occupied, but we managed to find a paid parking spot nearby :) Not ideal, but oh well! Inside, it was pretty spacious, with a couple of couches, a few tables, and of course the bar seating. I saw multiple customers walking around with their dogs, so I'd say Pharmacy is dog-friendly. The bartender was attentive throughout, and I thought the draft beers were very reasonably priced. The selection on draft was only OK, but that's more based on personal preference, I guess :) Pharmacy also had a bunch of cans available for sale, some refrigerated and some not (presumably based on the type of beer). There was an additional fee if you chose to buy a can and drink it in the bar. Maybe this is normal, but it struck me as a little strange. They also had some food items available but I skipped those this time. Overall, I had a pretty good time. I'd definitely consider stopping by again but I'm not sure it'll be a consistent hang-out.

So...what's the actual name of this place? Bottles & Cans Beer and Wine Shop or Taps and Social?…read moreJudging by the signage and the receipt, it seems to answer to both. Either way, it delivers exactly what you'd hope for--a great selection of drinks in a relaxed, social setting. After finishing dinner at Shijiri, we had a little over an hour to kill before heading home, so we wandered over here. We decided to grab seats inside rather than on the front patio. The interior is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seating whether you prefer pulling up to the bar or sinking into one of the comfortable sofas. Our tasting lineup included the refreshing Sangria Slushy, Anderson Valley's Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout, and Komana's Hefe the Hefeweizen. While enjoying our drinks, we spent some time hanging out with Aria, the Bouvier des Flandres, who was incredibly friendly and happily accepted all the attention. She definitely added to the welcoming atmosphere. Before leaving, we couldn't resist browsing the shelves and ended up taking home a build-your-own six-pack featuring beers from 3 Floyds, Edit, Middle James, Two Tides, Grimm, and Anytime Beer Co. The selection is excellent for anyone who enjoys discovering craft beers beyond the usual grocery store offerings. Whether you're looking to enjoy a drink on-site, build a mixed six-pack to take home, or simply relax with friends (or make a new four-legged one), this place checks all the boxes. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

They had a pretty decent selection of beers available, and I was impressed that you could get pretty much any type of beer as a singleton (versus having to buy a 4 pack or whatever). I did feel like the refrigerated section could have been a bit larger, but they did have a few good choices in there. They had a big selection of beers available on tap, and while I didn't partake this time, I was kind of tempted by the quadrupel :) The bartender was nice and helpful throughout my visit. Overall, if you're in the area, this seems like a nice place to stop and grab a beer. I've seen slightly better selection of beers elsewhere, but I do think you could find something you like here :)

That made us laugh and we were thirsty so we decided to take a break from shopping. We parked at VF parking lot and discovered that their doors were locked even though the hours on the door said they should have been open. We noticed South Line Brewing right beside it and saw people so we walked across the parking lot. We were immediately greeted by some friendly patrons (looked like they were having an event) and went inside. The bartender asked us what we would like to sample and we quickly found a beer to our liking. We inquired about the brewery next door and she informed us that they were closed for good. (Not this brewery's fault, but how rude that there was no posting on VF regarding this!) We really enjoyed our time here. We had a couple of beers, got a burger from the food truck, and just relaxed and people watched. I got the Notorious Bean Coffee Cream Ale and it was delicious. I had two and they went down very easily LOL. The vibe was excellent. LOTS of different seating...kinda felt like hanging out in your best friends garage (only in the best way possible!) Even sitting inside felt like sitting outside and enjoying a nice summer afternoon. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stop by again!

They had a bunch of arcade machines, like a punching bag, a golf simulator, and a few other options. I also noticed they had some liquor behind the bar if people preferred mixed drinks versus beer :) Not useful for me, but I appreciate that they're prepared! I ordered a beer and it was solid. My wife and I chilled on the couch for a bit and it was pretty comfy. The bartender was nice as well. Overall, we had a pretty good time at South Line and would definitely consider coming back!

Still, I always seem to find myself at Fortnight. And their beer has always been delicious, with plenty of varieties to sip from either on a cold December day or a blazing hot spring afternoon. They also have a lovely beer garden and, at least when I've been there, a tasty food truck on site. Staff is friendly, with self-service ordering at the bar (the line can definitely get long sometimes). I gotta say, the beer isn't always as cold as I would hope it would be - could be I'm just used to a different beer temp vibe here in the PNW. One ale I recently tried I had to bring back to the counter as it was so warm I thought I'd accidentally been given a cask ale. Oddly, they weren't really apologetic about it and were happy to charge me for a different (colder) beer, even though I'd only taken a couple of sips from the ale. Not the biggest deal, but worth noting that you might want to ask for a sample before committing to a pint, if for no other reason than to verify it's being served at a temp you like.

I went right after it opened so it was pretty empty during my visit, but there's a ton of seating (both indoor and outdoor!) and I can imagine it gets pretty busy at peak hours. Overall, there are a bunch of breweries in the Triangle, so I'm not sure I'd come back to this one as my first choice, but if a friend wanted to meet me here I wouldn't complain :)
