I was extremely nervous going in, as I've had terrible experiences with dentists in the past and carry a lot of dental anxiety because of it. I honestly couldn't believe how amazing Dr. Gressel was with both of my kids. The appointments went so fast, and the kids barely felt a thing. My 3 year old didn't even need to be numbed and was out of the chair in under ten minutes, happy as a clam. Needless to say, I made an appointment for myself right after. Thank you so much!

Finding this practice has been great, the front desk staff is very accommodating, emergencies are treated so kindly and quickly. I cracked a crown the day before Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and they got me in. Regular care and cleaning is smooth, I absolutely love my hygienist, Chalon! They are efficient, comprehensive and DON'T upsell at every opportunity, which I hate. I know love in Tacoma so it is a commit but I have zero plans to change, I will drive the 25 minutes.

Their policy is 24 hours, and I canceled my October 8 appointment by text on October 7 at 4:03 PM for a 4:00 PM appointment the next day -- only three minutes outside the policy window. The office also referenced a February 17, 2025 appointment that was supposedly canceled outside the policy, but the first text communication I ever received from them was dated February 25, 2025, and I never received any reminder or text regarding a February 17 appointment. ^^ I looked back and it looks like I did have an appointment on February 17 that I scheduled via phone call. On Monday, February 16 I was at Swedish hospital with my two young kids who were just diagnosed with flu A. It knocked us out as a family for two weeks! So that is why I did not make my February 17, 2025 appointment. So I guess they did give me a courtesy cancellation.... However it just feels like another dentist office trying to screw people over. Because this office is out-of-network for our insurance, the visit was already fairly expensive. While I truly liked the quality of care, I was disappointed with how the cancellation fee situation was handled.
