Two words describe this practice; FIRST CLASS! The experience was like flying in First Class, you are pampered and taken care of by gentle professional experts. My treatment was explained to me in terms I could understand. I was offered and accepted the opportunity to watch my procedure on live video. Their equipment is extremely clean and very modern. Every staff member at this office seemed very happy to be there and were very helpful and gracious to me. I can't give enough praise to this team of medical professionals. When's the last time you had an appointment with a doctor, and they call you up the night before to check on you and see if you had any questions or concerns before you go in for a procedure? That's what they do! Dr. John West not only gave me a call the night before my first visit, but then carefully checked out my tooth situation during my first visit. Once confirmed that I needed a root canal, they set my surgery for the following week. The procedure itself was surprisingly painless. (It was my first root canal, and all I could think of was the old adage, "I'd rather have a root canal!") I was done in about an hour, and had virtually no pain afterwards. Of course, the day after the procedure, I got another phone call directly from Dr. West, making sure everything was ok and if I had questions/concerns. He even gives his patients his cell phone number in case they need to get ahold of him right away. I've never had such attention from, and direct access to, the performing physician. I was impressed to say the least when I first had my exam for a root canal. Then again when I had the root canal. My first appointment was at 645 am. Dr west himself called me the night before to remind me. Usually dr offices have their staff call to remind. The office is very nice setting and all staff are very professional. Excellent work, a chill atmosphere, and a very cohesive team! I was referred to Dr. West for my root canal by my dentist because the tooth was turned making the roots kinda funky and the tooth an exceptionally hard place to get to. In fact, after getting the root canal I went back to the dentists for a crown and it was the most painful dental experience I've ever had. The root canal that Dr. West did? No pain. During or after. It's been a few weeks now, and the actual root canal went better than any filling I've had! Most impressive is that Dr. West was very complimentary to the rest of the team and morale seemed high! Nothing is more nerve wracking than tension in the office before you get into the chair and you can't help feeling more relaxed when everyone is working together well! Referred by my dentist, Dr. West and Sarah did a wonderful job addressing the problems with a past root canal, answered all of my questions, during the procedure they were kind enough to let me know what was going on and asked how I was doing frequently to ensure I wasn't uncomfortable. If you want to just tune out whats going on, you can throw on some headphones and watch stuff on the TVs they have in the drop ceiling! Had a great experience here and really appreciate their level of care and concern for their patients. Also, shout out to the anesthesiologist! That woman is a saint when it comes to the injections. I called earlier this week with a sore tooth after two dentists told me this was the best place to go for a root canal. Within an hour and a half I was in the chair and within a few hours, I was out of the office and completely taken care of! The ladies at the desk, the hygienist, the two assistants and the doctor that worked with me were all friendly, professional, helpful, and efficient. Not a fan of dental procedures of any kind. I avoid dentists at all costs. So, when the time came to get a previous root canal reworked, I was lucky enough to get referred to Dr. Jordan West. I had one tooth worked on around ten yrs ago by DR John West ( the father). He has his two boys also in the practice. So it's a family deal.. Love it! Dr John did a great job then and I had absolutely no pain after. Done deal. Now years later after gettin a crown replaced by my dentist he stirred up a hornets nest in my old work. Wierd huh? So here I am again, guess there was a root that branched off ( felt like I to my brain..). Dr John had to do a 3 D image to finally find my infected area. But he is diligent and the staff runs like a well oiled machine here!!!!! Not kidding around. He juggles many patients with ease. Man I love this place for delicate work. Since I had such a big hole he drilled it had to be drained for two days... So water chewing with salt water every hour and Penicillin to boot. He called me last nite around 9 pm to check on me. Really????!!!!! I was amazed and am in today for a small bite adj cause it's sore. I am getting squeezed in so I'm waiting patiently. read more
