I paid $88 for a natural plant that looked nothing like the picture. This was for a funeral at Salerno's. I purchase the premium and I don't think it was more that 10 inches tall. For our wedding in March, we shopped around at several local florists, and decided on Roselle Flowers because they were close, and they seemed the most interested in doing what we asked for. We had a theme for the wedding, and some little pins to match with the flowers as well as an assortment of bridesmaid dress colors. Neither of us knew exactly what we wanted for flowers, but Demetra figured out exactly what we wanted, and put together a package that worked perfectly for us. Reasonably priced, they were also able to switch a corsage order to a boutonniere very close to the wedding date. Of all the things that could go right or wrong on the day of the wedding, it was an immense relief to have the flowers be a complete and perfect success. I sincerely hope the person I just spoke on the phone was the owner of this business, because if not, they are definitely leaving their company in the wrong hands. An answering service took our order, which was for $100 spray for a wake today. The total came to $116, which we were fine with, in addition to our request being pretty easy going - just use some purple, greenery in the back & make it pretty. We received a phone call from whomever is working over at Roselle Flowers an hour later blaming the answering service for selling us something they could not fulfill - a nice funeral spray, for a wake in Roselle (right down the street) for $116. Prices aside, this lady's attitude was more than what someone should ever have to deal with, let alone on a day they are attending a wake. Thank you for nothing; we will go elsewhere. Lastly I am not in the practice of EVER leaving poor reviews, I understand business is tough, but this was ridiculous. Should've gone with 1-800-Flowers but was deliberately trying to give a local florist direct business. read more

I wanted to have flower's for Mother's Day delivered to my mom's office in Schaumburg and I am so pleased with my experience. I chose Roselle Flowers because I wanted to give my business directly to the local florist in my hometown. I went on their website and selected the "Deal of the Day" which is the florist's choice bouquet for $35. Around 2p.m. on the delivery day, my mom sends me pictures of the most gorgeous arrangement that looks like it's worth twice what I paid for. Very Disappointing experience-don't use to send flowers outside Schaumburg. I ordered an arrangement based on the on-line picture from Olde Schaumburg Flowers for delivery in Oakbrook. When the flowers arrived at my recipient's workplace, they looked like a paltry imitation of what had been shown. Instead of a full, lush 15 flower arrangement, only 7 flowers were presented and there was very little greenery. It looked shabby and cheap but I had been charged for the upgraded, deluxe version. Since I had pictures of what had been delivered vs what was shown on the website, the difference was obvious. I called Olde Schaumburg Flowers but no one was answering despite repeated attempts. I went to the shop on Roselle Road and was told that they couldn't answer any questions but I had to physically go to Roselle Flowers in Roselle to talk to anyone. I went to Roselle Flowers, showed the two different pictures and spoke with Dmitra. She admitted that the photos were very different, but did not apologize and told me there was nothing she could do about the problem as they had sent it to be fulfilled by Carousel Florist in Elmhurst. I had to ask for that florist's name and number so I could try and get some resolution. I called while in the shop and spoke with Kyle at Carousel. He was very nice and apologized for the problem once he saw the two different photos. However, his solutions were not that helpful. While he said he would resend the correct arrangement, he would charge me for the vase provided with the original one! I explained it was not my problem they had messed up and wondered why I should have to pay 2x to fix their error. He wouldn't budge so my recipient has to bring her old, faded arrangement back to work(where the flowers were originally delivered) from her home, to exchange for the new one. I find it hard to believe that a cheap, $2.00 glass vase would be worth angering and inconveniencing a customer. He also said that Roselle Flowers should have taken full responsibility as they had taken the order and they could have easily resolved the problem. Bottom line, I got the run around from Olde Schaumburg Flowers and Roselle Flowers who would not take responsibility for insuring that a product they sold was delivered as pictured. I shouldn't have to work so hard to get decent service. read more

Bought 3 funeral arrangements (paid over $550.00) for my father's services - 1 out of 3 turned out decent. The flowers were delivered to the funeral home approximately one hour prior to mine and my family's arrival...on one arrangement, the flowers were soggy-looking and wilted; on the other (a $160 vase of roses from my mother to honor her husband), the vase was ridiculously MASSIVE with the flower arrangement looking sparse (we definitely did NOT receive the arrangement advertised on website, which I referenced upon ordering). Then there was the ribbon for the vase of roses....long story short, this was a failure, too, despite my repeating to Annie what was needed to be printed (or, if too long for ribbon, print on a card). Customer service was fair. The attempt to be accommodating is there, but there's obviously a disconnect in listening and their stock seems to be of mediocre quality. Bottom line: OVERPRICED FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT DELIVERED. read more

The flowers that were ordered did not look anything like what was shown on the web site. I have tried to talk to the owner/manager, Reshi ,and was told by staff that my calls would be returned. I sent an email with pictures and It's been over two weeks and nothing. Since he owns three different stores he processed my order through a different store than the one I thought I was using. That makes it very difficult to get any satisfaction as to resolving my dispute. I would never use them again and would not recommend them. I payed $90 for a flower arrangement to be delivered on my moms birthday. It was never delivered. Now, I have to say that they did try to deliver it but everyone was out in the backyard so nobody knew there was someone ringing the door bell. However, they never attempted to call or arrange another drop off and by the time I realized the flowers weren't coming the delivery driver had gone home for the evening so I had to get in the car and get them myself. They returned the delivery fee but at that point I was done with them. If I never would have called them the flowers would never have came. Also, the flowers were nothing to look at. I've gotten better arrangements for a third of the price at Jewel. There's too much competition in the direct area for me to go back to them. read more

I used them last year for the corsages for the moms at my wedding. The first visit was fine, I ordered 2 identical wrist corsages with roses. After talking to my mom, she mentioned she would rather have a pin on corsage. Not a big deal since I live down the street and thought I could quickly pop in and change my order. Mind you, my wedding was still over 1 month away. When I walked in, the owner/manager was literally yelling at the employees. I was forced to stand there and listen to this for about 15 minutes. The person that finally ended up helping me was so confused about everything, she couldn't even find my order despite me giving her my receipt and information . After she assured me the change had been made, I should have double checked but at that point, I just wanted to get out of there. My now husband picked up the corsages the day before our wedding and of course, no change had been done. He had no clue since I ordered them and I didn't realize it until the next day when we were passing then out. I do not recomend them, over $50 for 6 roses and bad customer service is reduculous. read more

I called them 2 days before my wedding (hadn't planned on anything elaborate) and they put together the most beautiful bouquet!! I knew I wanted a calla lily, they were the only ones locally who had any and were able to put 4 mini callas with some greenery and it was exactly what I was looking for!
