    Wine - BYO corkage $25per 750ml
    Robert C.

First time in with friends for dinner on a summer weekday evening. Parking can be a bit of fun in the Rosemary district in Bradenton, but we snagged a space a block away. The restaurant is part of the historic district and sports beautiful buildings, and incredible garden dining. While it was too warm to sit outside in the amazing space, we were seated promptly and service was very good throughout our dinner. We brought our own wine, corkage $25, which is reasonable. The restaurant provided a decanter for one of our two bottles. Summer prix fixe offers a nice selection for $45 with an appetizer, entree and one of three desserts. I had the escargot (delicious 5star) appetizer and two of us had the hangar steak and frites (also perfectly cooked and delicious) and the nutella crepe (sinfully delicious). Another guest had the fish and finally a duck l'orange. All in all exactly what is needed for a terrific dinner.

Regional Date Night: short rib pot roast

We returned for dinner with friends on a night that they featured Regional Cajun cuisine. The special menu had 4 choices of appetizers and 4 entree options. You could pick one of each for $40. I had the Gumbo cup of soup that was served in a cute tea cup. My main course was the Short Rib pot roast. My husband had the seafood dip with the seafood pasta and our friends had Caesar salads with the Branzino. Excellent food all around. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The dining room is nice and not too noisy. Some day I will eat there when it's warm enough to sit on their patio.

    Lava cake - delicious!

Great seating - outside in their courtyard, my second favorite courtyard in the area! Excellent service, very friendly, attentive, and efficient. The special shrimp scampi was great - shrimp done perfectly - fantastic flavors on perfect linguine. The halibut with asparagus risotto and a grapefruit sauce was unbelievable! Excellent lava cake for dessert!

    Salmon Omelette

Decide to eat here for Mother's Day. I was very disappointed. The ambiance is beautiful but the food is not at all worth the price. It was the worst meal I think I have ever had. Both omelettes were tasteless. The potatoes were plain and not crisp. My biscuit came out cold as if it came from the freezer. I asked to have it replaced and that biscuit came out so hard I couldn't slice it. I left most of my meal. Our food was worse than diner to say the least. We will never visit again.

Watermelon Radish Halibut, Mango Risotto, asparagus, cold water lobster tail

Dined with a dear friend on a summer Saturday evening. My first visit and my friend's recommendation after dining @ The Rosemary 6 years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. From making the reservation with Jeff, to the service and suggestions provided by Arpi and team, to the gracious bartender who welcomed us after finishing our meal, the staff was impeccable and genuinely delightful. At one point we asked about the architecture of the building, and Arpi brought over a staff member who enthusiastically gave us the history and thought behind the design. THIS is what sets a dining experience apart from "dining out!" It was lobster tail night so we enjoyed a complimentary cold water lobster tail with our meals. The aged filet mignon served with Demi glacé and Watermelon Radish Halibut with mango risotto were cooked perfectly and even more delicious than described. Our Mojito and Strawberry Mint Spritzer were the "icing on the cake," garnished with fresh mint, so no dessert for us this time, but can't wait to return for the whole experience.

    Filet with seafood

Came here for their weekday special. Had the Louie Shrimp and the filet mignon with seafood. Finished the meal with carrot cake. The boss had the salmon with lemon dill sauce and risotto. Our meals were delicious. The filet was prepared the way I asked and the meat was extremely tender. The seafood was also prepared perfectly. My wife's salmon was cooked properly and the lemon dill sauce was perfect for the salmon. And the carrot cake was amazing. Dense yet moist. Filled with flavor -yummy. And our service was attentive and polite. Can't wait to come back again.

Special weekend Prix Fixed menu. GREAT deal!

Such a gem!! Everything is so well made and incredibly tasty. The restaurant feels like you're sitting at a fancy family dinner table right at home. Service was top notch too! They have a great weekend pre-set menu with multiple courses. Whether you go with the preset special courses or the full menu, you wont be disappointed!! Everything I ate was wonderful but I have to give special kudos for their sauces. Their chef creates incredible, mouthwatering sauces & that is no easy task...Clearly very experienced folks in the kitchen!! I look forward to coming again and am grateful to hear they survived the recent hurricanes. Support local!!

Steak au poivre and Gold Old Fashioned

Sat in the outside patio on 11/15 for dinner. We had the chicken tamale and the the meat ball for starters. Incredible flavor and came out steaming hot. Our entrees were the branzino and the house smoked brisket. The food was awesome and enough to bring some home. The deserts were incredible. There 3 course meal for $40 is an incredible bargain with some of the best food in this area. There are always many choices for the started and entrees. The music on Saturday makes the place even more special. They have the most consistent tasty food in the area. It's our favorite place to dine.

Classic wedge salad with bleu cheese dressing - excellent !

First time eating here. Ambience is very friendly and relaxed. Alvin was our waiter and was very professional and pleasant . I got the halibut with risotto and my husband got the seafood dish, both were excellent. Looking forward to returning to this gem of a restaurant soon!

Steak au poivre - prepared perfectly!

Had a great meal at Rosemary and Thyme. Our waiter was awesome as well. They had a special: order a cocktail with your entrée and get a free lobster tail! We also had their $40 pp special that included an app, soup, or salad-an entree, and dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly, especially my steak, and the desserts were delicious!

Restaurants should be transparent about what they actually offer so customers can make informed decisions before visiting. Both came with a kale and quinoa salad which was refreshing with a hint of heat. A+. Unfortunately the ribeye initially was overdone. My partner ordered medium rare, and although the steak was flavorful, there was no pink in sight and it was slightly tough. After a few minutes, when our server checked in, we let him know, a manager came over soon after, and he said he would have it redone. It took longer than expected, and the other two of us were done eating before it arrived. In fact, I was panicked that the steak would again be overdone as some time had passed, and I said that to the server. But the steak was perfectly done when it arrived. To make up for the lateness, the manager offered us a dessert. We had the key lime and it was amazing. Surprisingly but appreciatively we were comped the steak. They made it right and that is important. Service was good. I did run out of water a few times. My only real complaint there was the server should have asked us to cut into the steak right away. I wish all restaurants did this. This is our second time here. We were here last year and had a great meal then as well. We will be back.

The only issue, and I could have asked for more, was they should bring a small side of dressing when they bring the salads out. Regardless the salad was yummy! The prices were steep but not any more than you would expect to pay in an upscale restaurant, $23. And, what I appreciated was they DO NOT INCLUDE AN AUTO GRATUITY! YAY!!! Overall the experience was outstanding; environment was beautiful, service was good, food was delicious. We will be back, many times I'm sure!

Instead of explaining why they tasted different, two bartenders argued with us and told us we were wrong. They even remade one. The second one tasted exactly the same. Only then were we told that they don't actually use tequila--they use an infused wine product instead. Looking at the menu, it's easy to see why we were confused. The drinks are listed with ingredients like tequila, vodka, whiskey, rum, and gin. The only indication otherwise is a tiny line at the bottom that says they serve "Premium Blend Spirits." That doesn't clearly communicate that these cocktails aren't made with actual liquor. What really ruined the experience was the attitude. Rather than simply explaining the difference, the two bartenders argued with us, told us we were wrong, and we could clearly hear them making negative comments about us afterward. We ended up canceling our food order and leaving. Our server was kind, and we still left them a tip because this wasn't their fault. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled means we won't be back.
