The noodles were packed with flavors and with the ideal texture of soft but not sticky. Stellar food, service, and ambiance. All the staff were attentive and kind, never made us feel rushed. Their menu has a lot of classic and fusions twists with pictures that all look so good, it was hard to decide! I dined with a friend who is a pescatarian and there were plenty of fish and veggie options. Standouts were the emerald gyoza, the salmon khao soi, and mango sticky rice ice cream. Rose Mary opened recently in Peabody near the Main/Lowell/Foster/Central Street intersection, in the former La Siesta space. The dining space was redone with decorative wall murals, full service bar, table seating and booths. They also offer takeout and online ordering. The food menu offers a selection of Thai dishes including appetizers, soups, noodle/rice dishes, stir frys, curries, duck, Mediterranean Branzino dishes, vegetarian, and desserts. They also have lunch specials. The prices are moderate. On my way home from the Northshore, I decided to stop by Rose Mary for dinner takeout. On the way to the restaurant, I placed an online order through Toast, ordering the Spicy Pad Thai with Tofu & Vegetables ($16 plus tax) and Steamed Butterfly ($9 plus tax). My food was all set and bagged when I arrived at Rose Mary 15 minutes later for pickup. The Spicy Pad Thai had a mix of soft thin rice noodles tossed with a mix of veggies (scallion, peppers, onions, sprouts, broccoli), spices, and firm tofu cubes. This noodle dish was fairly spicy and had good flavors. The Steamed Butterfly had seven smaller steamed Thai style dumplings filled with turnips & chopped peanuts, garnished with chopped garlic and served with ginger sauce for dipping. This appetizer was a pretty good choice. Overall, I would definitely come back here for a dine-in experience for lunch or dinner. The food I ordered was very good and I very much enjoyed my takeout dinner. The service was very prompt, easy in and out pickup near the front door. There are some other selections on their menu that I would try including the Tom Yum Noodles Hot Pot, Hawaiian Fried Rice, Crispy Taro, and I-Tim Kaati for dessert. read more

The restaurant itself is stunning--sparkling chandeliers, a fun green-and-pink pop of color, and such a clean, beautifully arranged space. It's the kind of place that makes your Instagram followers instantly jealous. Our server, Paris, was wonderful--super attentive and just a joy to interact with. Since it was lunch, we ordered from the lunch menu, which came with a little appetizer surprise. I had the crab rangoons and they were perfect--crispy on the outside, creamy inside, and best of all, no onions (a rare find!). My husband had the chive scallion dumplings and they were just as delicious--light, savory, and full of flavor. For mains, I had the Thai Spicy Seafood Basil, which was bursting with flavor--aromatic, just the right amount of heat, and the scallops were my favorite bite. The seafood portion could've been a touch more generous, but every piece was fresh and not fishy at all. My husband went with the Chicken Pineapple, and it was the ideal balance of salty and sweet with crisp veggies and perfectly toasted cashews adding a great crunch. To top it off, the Lychee-tini completely stole the show--refreshing, beautifully presented, and the lychee "pop" surprise made me smile with every sip. The prices are very affordable too (a rare gem for a spot this stylish and delicious). I just hope they stay that way, because this place is perfect as it is. Outstanding new Thai food joint! We got the pork fried rice (spice level 2 of 4*- SPICY, but just enough! ). Very flavorful, good amount of fresh veggies, and nice size pieces of tender pork (unlike other versions with tiny pieces of overcooked pork). We also got the drunken chicken, which was also very good- excellent seasoning, fresh veggies. For an app, we got the fried wings. Unfortunately, they arrived soggy (got delivery) despite the thoughtful packaging with a vent on top to prevent this. They were ok flavor-wise, but likely much better in the restaurant. I did however order the chicken and got shrimp...but I like shrimp and it was good. It was a generous portion!!! I never send food back, so I ate it. The waitstaff did check on us a lot. Drunken noodle and Hawaiian rice were pretty good. Chicken satay was over marinated and spicier than I've ever had before. Most upsetting were general Gao's chicken and mango chicken, which were about 5% chicken and 95% batter and corn starch. They didn't even taste like chicken. I wouldn't come here again.
