She threw it in the microwave, reheated it and gave it back to me and I told her she was horrible. She said she's been doing this for 18 years. I went outside and I called Panera and I told them what happened and they reported it and the guy on the phone was very nice to me and he offered to give me one of the sandwiches free. I will get you another one and just get me a whole new another mac & cheese but no, she decided to talk to me harshly in front of all the other customers and in Yelp, there's another review with her listed as well. Maybe she needs retraining. I hope that Panera puts puts this incident in her file because she needs to be retrained. You can't talk to customers like she did to me today. And I live closer to one and I decided to go to the Salem New Hampshire one because it has a little bit better parking lot. This is basically an Italian Beef...which I never tried when I lived in Chi town for a spell. I can't compare it to anything but its a beef sandwich with some onions, peppers, etc. It is served with a side of Au Jus, which some will absolutely love. In short, I liked it because I like the beef aspect and while I typically love spicy things, this tasted as if some fool dumped a ton of ground pepper in a vat and cooked the beef that way. I personally think it was over-seasoned. If it was even a little bit subtler, I would have probably liked it a lot and might have gone for 4 stars. I do want to add there are two things I detest about this place: Just eating my food with my girlfriend and looking around and there massive ads for realtors and roofing guys (or other trades people) and EVEN WORSE, there is a bunch of religious stuff on one of the sides. I get it, the owner of this place can do what he will, it's their business. I just don't have to like it thrust in my face. This country was built on religious freedom and while I happen to have the same faith, I don't think anybody that doesn't should be subject to that. TLDR - Food was okay, environment was lacking. Better value to be found elsewhere imo.
