This place was terrible. I was in town for a wedding and was shocked this was as considered a store. The selection was so bad and brand new items were such bad value they were falling off the hanger in the store. Terrible selection, i didn't use the service because i left before buying. Just a bunch of cluttered stuff. Nothing worth stopping for in my opinion. Some of the toiletries are cheaper at your "normal stores".

If you're looking for cheap souvenirs, fishing rod and stuff, beach gear, etc - THIS is the place. Prices are cheaper in comparison to the boardwalk and all 12 sunsation stores. My advise is to checkout this store for souvenirs and save the extra cash for the OC boardwalk experience such as thrasher's fries, funnel cakes, or an adult beverage of your choice. The only downfall would be the location, the store seem to be located at a rundown/closed down mall area AKA de la ghetto. Overall, I would comeback to this place to save money during the day. read more

The store reminded me of a defunct Kmart. Their chargers were over 6 years out of date. The store was also filty and the staff were rude and miserable. We would have gladly spent money if there were any worthwile items. My husband is "high end" but I am a bargain shopper" and he says my stores are "full of scuzzy individuals" when I love to bargain shop. read more

Roses is an inexpensive store to get most anything. From detergents to clothing/shoes and food, Roses has it all. OCMD T-Shirts are less expensive here than on the boardwalk and many are the same T-shirts! Save some money and stop in here for souvenirs. Get your crabbing supplies here also. Dang they even have your steel toe working boots in here. It's clean enough..... I've been in dirtier stores! This one is OK. read more

Rose's has everything you could possibly think of. Reasonably priced OCMD shirts, souvenirs, snacks, beach essentials, and more! It's the best place to go for any emergency supplies you may need for your beach trip. It looks a bit sketchy from the outside but this place is worth visiting. A little disorganized but what do you expect from a discounted store? It reminds me of a mini Walmart, some people love it or hate it. Would you rather pay $30 for a t-shirt at the Boardwalk or Rose's for half of the price? I rest my case...Rose's is the real deal! read more

Rose's Beach Center is my go to for affordable every day supplies for living on the Eastern Shore. Sun, salt, and sand often mean things fade or wear out faster than usual, so it's great to have them close by for wearables and replaceable necessities. Today there was a problem with the pricing of one of my items. The barcode rang up for more than double the sticker price! The friendly and attentive cashier pointed out the problem before I even had a chance to complain, and she directed me to the service desk. Susan apologized for the mix up, honored the ticket price, and as I was leaving she went to the floor to make sure that no one else would have the same inconvenience I did. This store has a ton of cheap crap (as opposed to expensive crap)! We needed towels and sheets for our vacation rental - being hotel folk we thought this would come with the package, but alas they did not. $15 for a set of queen sheets (they were "microfiber") and $5 for bath towels - AWESOME!! read more

First of all, the store is only open this time of year until 7 pm, Monday to Friday not 9 pm. Nice staff but the customers really junk the place up. Amazing how lazy the people who shop there are. Some of the merchandise have great deals, worth coming in to price shop but please show courtesy towards the staff and other shoppers and put stuff back where you found it. Roses is great! When you are on vacation, they have everything you need for the beach. For the home, they have linens, rugs, towels, and housewares. Plus they have souvenirs, some food items, shoes and clothing. We bought towels, washcloths, hand sanitizer, and crackers at a price of one dollar each! It is like a mini Target. Cheap, but you get what you pay for! This is The spot to get cheap souvenirs, sunblock, last minute beach gear, and other items for your stay. It gave me the feeling of being in a beach-themed Kmart. This place is weird. Tons of cheap crap. Yes, cheap. Beans, blankets, lawn furniture, shoes....cheap. You will need additional language skills to communicate with the staff, who really does not give a damn. Place is not clean, disorganized and looks like a wave ran through the store. This store is rather large for a Roses store and old looking. However, clean. It was only about two blocks from where our condo was....so the plan was " buy towels and sheets " Either we didn't ask or we weren't told .......No towels or sheets" .....first the Roses was well stocked, probably overbought! So we were able to get the items we needed....dish cloths, too and I bought a -T-shirt....yep, it said OCEAN CITY, MD. the strip center, IMO should be torn down, it looked awful. This is a serve yourself spot, rummage thru the piles of inventory...check for defects....but then it isn't Bloomingdales ! Great store located in North OC which provides access to those items that you forgot to pack (or wish to just purchase new instead of packing). I've bought bathing suits, socks, flip flops, boogie boards, snacks, plasticware, gifts, health and beauty items, and so much more. Bought a dress and pj's. Pj's didn't fit so wanted to return 2 days later. Customer Service Mgr said I could not get money back because receipt showed 2 dresses and no pj's. CS mgr admitted "The clerk is Russian and we tell her to ring up correctly but she doesn't get it. But we can't give you money for returned pj's if not on the receipt." What?! How is that my problem? Was told I could purchase more merchandise for the amount of the pj's. Too upset to shop there any more! read more

We have been coming to Ocean CIty for about 18 years and we always need a trip to Rose's just to see what they have. We stay in a rental unit and one year I broke the glass coffee pot -When to a lot of stores and they wanted 24.oo for the replacement-went to Rose's and got the whole unit for just around 15.00, and it was better than the one at the unit. Rose's in a store that has everything and anything that you may need! We always make multiple trips to Rose's while in OC for vacation whether it is to grab something needed we forgot to bring with us or just to make a shopping trip. We've purchases a variety of items such as towels, pillow cases, clothing, sandals, home decor and more. They also have rows of shelves with souvenirs and any type of beach item you can think of that you may need. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the shopping center with Rose's looks like it is falling in disrepair. Hopefully it can be fixed up soon. read more
