Reviews With Photos - Roseville Clock Shop

We have had this beautiful grandfather clock for many years and it stopped chimming and we thought it would cost a fortune to get it looked at and fixed. Finally, I called Roseville Clock Shop and they came out and looked at for a very reasonable price and were able to fix it. I'm so excited. It chimes again and sounds beautiful - just like it was meant to be. Very courteous and friendly people to have in my home too.

Vintage, midcentury modern Mystery Clock. Keeps perfect time now because of Ken and it's timelessly elegant!

Ken is terrific, SO knowledgeable, dependable and a GREAT ASSETT to St. Clair Shores and the entire east side in general. He fixed a vintage, probably 70 year old Golden Hour/Mystery clock for me and I'm delighted with it. Clock and watch Repair Technicians are becoming QUICKLY EXTINCT in this horrible day, age and world we live in so he's to be highly valued‼

I had a family heirloom given to me years back: my great-grandfather's pocket watch. Given the fact that it had been carefully packed away for so long, it had not been wound or handled in many years when I received it. To my dismay, the glass front had separated from the body of the watch, and the knob that wound the watch would not even turn. I wanted to polish it and display it in my living room... but I wanted it WORKING. So I took the watch to Roseville Clock Shop. There are many places in town that claim that they are a "watch repair center", but I didn't feel comfortable having them work on something so precious to me. I didn't need a jewelry store, I needed a clock shop! RCS were very helpful, and seemed to be interested in simply seeing an antique watch come in for repair, which was surprising. They said the knew what was wrong, and they could fix it for under $100. It was such a relief to know that opening it up and replacing/repairing parts wasn't going to be REALLY expensive! And in the end, it was just over $50 to fix my watch. They replaced a few things inside, and replaced the glass covering the watch-face. And it works beautifully! This may not be the place to just have batteries replaced, but if you have a watch or clock that needs an expert, I would go here. They love what they do and it shows in their work!

From a bunch of pieces in a box to a complete and functioning cuckoo clock - it keeps excellent time!

I didn't know if that was the going rate so I went to another jeweler where the cost of putting those charms on is $150. I've been dealing with Maloof's for years. This is not to say I would never go there for anything -perhaps a piece of jewelry or a ring, but I would never go there for any kind of repair or work on Jewelry

A year ago, they offered the best price for a custom gold engagement ring, delivered impeccable craftsmanship, and treated me like a valued customer. That memory made us excited to return for our wedding bands. Unfortunately, that excitement evaporated the moment we were greeted by Jim. His demeanor was terse, dismissive, and bordering on condescending. Rather than guiding us through a special moment, he made us question whether we were foolish for even considering the pieces we showed interest in. After barely five minutes of engagement, he waved me off to another part of the store when I asked about silver chains. We stood awkwardly for nearly 20 minutes--no one acknowledged us, and it turned out we needed to pull a new number to get help. Meanwhile, I was fully prepared to make significant purchases. This review isn't about a single rude encounter--it's about how easily a brand can lose loyalty when they fail to deliver consistent respect and care. I'm giving Maloof two stars solely out of respect for their earlier excellence. But I won't return. If this business wants to remain relevant with a new generation of buyers, it needs to rethink who's representing it. A moment that should've been joyful was soured by apathetic service. That's the kind of dead weight that ages a brand out of existence.
