Finally found a dermatology clinic that I am comfortable and satisfied. My entire family comes here. The office is located by Gibson drive, close to Westfield Galleria. Behind the Lazy dog and Eureka complex. They have their own building. The office itself is very clean and trendy. They share a parking lot with another office. I got the chance to see Dr. Kathryn Gant for my first appointment and followed up with PA Allen Markovic. Had my Skin Cancer Screening done by PA Wendy Mazursky. Hubby and Son also sees Allen and we are extremely satisfied as to how he is treating our dermatologic concerns. He is very thorough and he explains everything in a way understandable. He is also very caring especially to our son who was going through some acne issues. Everyone in this clinic provided excellent service from front staff, MA and most especially the providers. It's also not so hard to get an appointment. Definitely ask your Primary Care provider for a referral to this office if you need one. 28 4 2024 #262

I see the PA Allen and so far he's been a good provider, and addressed my dermatological needs.

I felt like there were going very fast and one question led to another ..after I asked them to please slow down and explain it slower with more details, they were awesome and it felt like this procedure was too good to be true, however the change made me extremely happy, and I could't believe the results. Dr hearth is very experienced focus and a perfectionist, he like to get it just right..he's a miracle worker and 45 min later... its magic..., "abracadabra" much smoother and natural..!! He's Top Notch and it shows:-)) Natalie his right hand assistant is incredible an absolute doll. She was very patient with me, and I'm not an easy person especially with my 100 lbs doberman in the room, there were obstacles and worried about the pain, which she was very calming and assured me I would be fine. It was over before I Knew it and each jab got easier with the numbing cream. Dr. Hearth's very genial touch with years of experience you barely feel anything. They both make an amazing team and the out come is absolutely magic...You can't go wrong. Barbara the manager oversees the staff and takes care of all the details ..finance, points, rewards etc. Her staff is to die for ..very pleasant, everyone smiles and makes you feel welcomed, and complementative. I'm excited again for my next session for more amazing results!! Thank you so much, Kayli and Ayeau

I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience at Granite Bay Dermatology & Laser Center…read morewith Dr. Scott B. Hearth's office. I went in specifically for skin tag removal and was treated by Dr. Johanna Dawson and her assistant. They clearly explained it as a cosmetic procedure that insurance would not cover. When I asked about the cost, I was told it would be $200 or less. The procedure was performed, and when I inquired about follow-up if the tags didn't fully resolve, the doctor assured me there would be no additional charge for the same tags. At checkout, the front desk told me the total billed was $180 with my responsibility being $108.94. I paid what I understood to be my full share based on what I was told that day. A month later, with half the skin tags still present, I received a bill for an additional $200 specifically for the "cosmetic procedure." When I called billing to question this, they claimed the original $180 was only for the office visit and this was a separate charge. No one had disclosed this breakdown or the true total cost on the day of service. Had I known the full amount upfront, I would have addressed payment immediately. Instead, I was left with incomplete results and surprise billing. I called to schedule a follow-up for the remaining tags (the exact same ones the doctor had already treated), and I was told I would be charged again despite the doctor's earlier assurance. They also refused to schedule the appointment until the disputed bill is paid. The entire process felt like a classic bait-and-switch focused on maximizing charges rather than transparent care. The staff comes across as very superficial -- smiling and giving partial information during the visit, but showing little genuine concern for patient outcomes or clarity once the procedure is done. It seems the priority is collecting every possible dollar rather than supporting patients through the full treatment process they promise. I would strongly caution anyone considering services here to get every single cost, charge code, and follow-up policy in writing before agreeing to anything. Extremely poor communication and patient-focused care. UPDATE: The business's public reply to my feedback on Google maps is nothing but empty lip service and word salad. They still refuse to acknowledge that the total cost for the procedure was never clearly communicated to me on the day of service. Their response tries to shift all responsibility onto the patient while defending their confusing billing practices. When I later called to schedule a follow-up for the remaining (same) skin tags, the staff member was extremely rude and demeaning. The office manager, Barbara, did eventually call me back and personally apologized for the poor tone of that call as well as for the incomplete information given on the day of the procedure. However, that private apology does not match the defensive, blame-shifting public response from the business. It feels like they are more interested in protecting their position than genuinely resolving patient concerns. The superficial smiles during the visit quickly disappear when issues arise. Their questionable approach to communication and customer service makes me seriously wonder about their ethics and how they retain patients.

My first appointment was with Tiffany, PA-C, and my follow-up a couple days ago was with the owner, Heidi, PA-C. Both providers were very friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything thoroughly. At my follow-up, Heidi checked how everything settled on my face, did a few touch-ups, and even added a couple complimentary units, which I really appreciated. The results have been great so far. The office is very clean, organized, and professional. The receptionists are also very friendly, and honestly everyone there seems welcoming and kind. I also like that they offer affordable membership pricing and specials that make treatments more realistic to keep up with long term. Overall, I'm very happy with both providers and my experience here.

I have debated writing this review for years, but after recently seeing RH Aesthetic advertising…read moreagain, I feel compelled to share my experience. I scheduled a Morpheus8 treatment and waited months for my appointment. Upon arrival, RH Aesthetic drew approximately 100 mL of my blood as part of the planned procedure. Only after drawing my blood was I informed that I was not a candidate for treatment based on an assessment that, in my experience, was inaccurate. My concern is not that they declined to perform the procedure. Providers should always exercise clinical judgment when appropriate. My concern is that a thorough consultation and candidacy assessment should have occurred before any blood was drawn. At the time, I was anemic, making the situation even more concerning. Drawing blood and then determining a patient is ineligible for treatment reflects poor screening and questionable clinical workflow. Patients trust medical spas to make these determinations before initiating any part of a procedure. Since then, I have undergone multiple Morpheus8 treatments elsewhere without issue and was considered an appropriate candidate. While my views on Morpheus8 technology itself have evolved over time, that is separate from this review. The issue is the lack of proper assessment before proceeding with treatment preparation. This experience left me feeling that patient care and safety were secondary to process and appearance. For that reason, I cannot recommend RH Aesthetic and am leaving a one-star review. There are many qualified providers who take the time to properly evaluate patients before beginning treatment. I encourage prospective clients to do their research and choose a provider that prioritizes thorough consultation, patient safety, and professional clinical judgment.

The final straw happened on May 5, where I arrived 10 minutes early for my 10:00 am appointment. I felt hopeful I would FINALLY be seen on time, as there was no one in the waiting room. I was quickly put into a room and told to put on a paper gown. After 45 minutes, I was still waiting and I was freezing and I felt frustrated. I popped my head out of the room asking for help and "Kim", cooly told me I would need to talk to the MA. What!? The doctor arrived 5 minutes later and admitted she had seen 2 patients that had arrived for their appointment late! She said the front staff did not inform her that I was on time, while the others were late. I thought it was extremely unfair that I was inconvenienced when I had arrived to my appointment on time. Why did the front staff not check on me or give me an update after 45 minutes? When I called later and spoke to the Office Manager "James", he defended his staff and said the doctors know their schedule and recommended I should book the first appointment at 7:45 am or 1:00 pm to avoid delays.

We decided to get a second opinion and the other two doctors recommended we do not touch it and can use some topical solution. His skin is nicely healed now. We then received a letter indicating that if it is untreated this can result in further complications, even death. What scare tactics. Ridiculous. Thank God we will no longer use this doctor and averted having surgery- we learned from others he has a tendency to do surgery and lots of scars. No thank you.
