Our refrigerator caught fire in our MB…read moreSprinter while dry camping; we think it was due to poor workmanship done on the refrigerator by another mobile RV company. We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

They found a minor problem with an outer bearing and replaced it. They took pictures, and saved the bearing to show me the problem. Best part with this place is not just the excellent work they do but the communication too. I've heard nightmare stories from friends about other RV repair places/dealerships. Fortunately, I've only brought mine to RV Time and it's exceeded my expectations. If you live anywhere near this place, I'd highly recommend bringing your rig here. Great family owned business.

Instead of trying to sell us whatever happened to be on the lot, he actually listened to what we wanted and helped us find the perfect trailer for our needs. No pressure, no gimmicks, and no "let me go talk to my manager" marathon sessions. The entire experience was fast, smooth, and surprisingly enjoyable. Every question was answered, every detail was handled, and we never felt like we were getting the runaround. Kyle at the Rocklin location was also great to work with and made sure everything came together seamlessly. What really impressed us was that RV Max doesn't treat the sale as the finish line. They genuinely stand behind their customers and are willing to help long after you've pulled the trailer off the lot. That level of service is becoming harder and harder to find. If you're shopping for an RV or trailer, do yourself a favor and start here. Great people, great service, and a team that actually cares. We couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Enter: RV Maxx--the hidden gem of Rocklin! From the moment I rolled into their lot, the team made me feel like part of the RV Maxx family. Huge shoutout to Mike, who saw me struggling with a stubborn hitch lock (no key, of course ) and didn't just help--he sawed it off, spray-painted the hitch black, and sent me off with a smile. Who does that?! Legends, that's who. After a few visits (and more than a few questions), I fell in love with the 2021 Shasta 18BH--compact, cozy, and adventure-ready. It checked every box I had and then some. From Kyle's friendly walk-throughs to Randy, Steve, Jordan, Jenna, and the ever-awesome Mike, this whole crew went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. No pressure, no salesy vibes--just good people running a genuinely family-run business. If you're dreaming of RV life and want a team that treats you like family (and not just a sale), do yourself a favor and swing by RV Maxx. They've earned every one of these 5 stars !

However, as the trailer has gotten older, it seems like they are constantly looking for reasons not to cover repairs, even when the warranty documentation appears to indicate the issue should be covered. The entire program has become frustrating and feels misleading. I've also had issues with pricing. On one occasion, I called ahead and was quoted a price for work. When I arrived at the store, the price was significantly higher. I had to argue with staff and remind them of the amount I was quoted over the phone before they would honor it. Communication has been another major problem. Multiple times I was told my trailer was ready for pickup, only to drive all the way there and discover it wasn't actually ready. That's a huge inconvenience and shows a lack of respect for customers' time. After dealing with these issues repeatedly, I can no longer recommend RV Travel World. The Forever Warranty program has not lived up to its promises in my experience, and the poor communication and inconsistent service have made doing business there far more difficult than it should be.

She didn't really listen to what we were looking for, and it felt like she wasn't very knowledgeable about the products. We actually gave up on that purchase. Thankfully, we came back and worked with Tyler, and the difference was night and day. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the different trailer models and manufacturers, and he took the time to explain the warranty options in a way that was easy to understand. Tyler truly listened to our family's needs and helped us find the perfect trailer without ever making us feel pressured. Unlike other sales reps, he wasn't pushy during negotiations. Instead of giving us a flat "no," he genuinely worked with us and offered assistance to help bring the price down. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with, I highly recommend asking for Tyler as your sales representative! The 5 star is definitely all for Tyler!

Awful experience. One star is generous…read more We searched for a travel trailer for several months and visited Camping World multiple times. From the start, the experience felt less than welcoming. Customers are directed through the sales office, where access is blocked and are asked to sign in before browsing. During our first visit, we signed in and explored the inventory on our own. They had a good selection, but we didn't find what we were looking for, so we continued our search elsewhere. A few weeks later, we noticed a trailer that seemed perfect for us. We discussed it and scheduled an appointment with Curtis to talk about financing. We arrived excited, with excellent credit and every intention of purchasing. Unfortunately, the financing terms did not work for us. We were also given the impression that purchasing their bloated $2,500 "Let's Go Camping" package was essentially mandatory. The package included a basic starter kit and a walkthrough of the trailer's functions and operation. We were surprised to learn that even the trailer's power cord was not included if we declined the package. There was little effort made to negotiate. We left disappointed and resumed our search elsewhere. Weeks later, the trailer was still there. We decided we really wanted it and chose to move past the experience with Curtis. We secured our own financing and returned as cash buyers for our third--and final visit. We asked for Curtis, but he sent Simon out. We expressed interest and wanted to take another look. It was still exactly what we wanted, and we were ready to move forward. We made an offer, and Simon responded by searching online to see what other dealerships were charging for the same model. While that approach seemed unusual, we waited to see where the conversation would go. Mind you dealer listing are pre negotiations. He offered to talk to management about lowering the price by $1,000 to match a comparable listing and remove the $2,500 "Let's Go Camping" package, reducing the overall price by $3,500. Although we knew that as first time trailer owners, we needed the walkthrough, we agreed. A few minutes later, he brought back the paperwork. To our shock, the deal was not what had been discussed. Rather than removing the $2,500 bloated Camping Package, they removed the $999 weight distribution hitch and left the Camping Package on the contract. At no point did we agree to purchase the trailer without the hitch, nor were we consulted before it was removed. Considering that hitches can be purchased for significantly less than $999, the change felt misleading and contrary to what had been discussed. We told Simon it wasn't going to work. He asked us to wait a moment, because management would at least like to come say hello. He went and came back, alone - as they declined to come over. We genuinely tried to make the deal work, but at that point we walked away feeling frustrated and disappointed. Having the right trailer is only part of the buying experience. Equally important are communication, transparency, customer service, and a willingness to work with customers in good faith. In our experience, Camping World falls short in each of those areas. Fortunately, there are many other dealerships in the area. Shortly afterward, we found a trailer elsewhere, received excellent customer service, and completed our purchase through a dealership that treated us with respect. Their comparable camping package was only $500. Based on our experience, we would not recommend doing business with Camping World as a buyer or seller. I couldn't imagine having a trailer on consignment there, knowing they do business this way.

We had a very specific type of travel trailer in mind, and Basecamp had what we were looking for. Finding the right trailer is only part of the process--the rest comes down to communication style, customer service, and making the experience as smooth as possible. From our first phone call, the Basecamp team was responsive, and easy to work with. When we arrived for our appointment, Erica gave us a thorough tour of the trailer and answered all our questions. The trailer was competitively priced, but we had been pre-approved for a specific amount and wanted to be sure everything would fit within our budget. While working with Erica, the owner, Skylar, took the time to come over and introduce himself. While there wasn't a lot of room to negotiate, he wanted to make the deal work and did what he could. We really appreciated that effort. The paperwork was straightforward, and a week later we returned to pick up our trailer. Their technician was thorough and made sure we understood how everything worked. As first-time travel trailer owners, we had a good experience. It was a smooth experience. Staff is very nice and we did bring it in just before Memorial Day so we knew we would probably have a wait. All we needed was generator oil change, checking the water pump and battery load, looking at the tires sensors, checking the roof and a wash. They said we needed new tape on top to keep the solar panels in place and couldn't find anything wrong with the pump. We got it back after three weeks and on the walk-through were actually told that the guys took all the old tape off and cleaned it up when they didn't even need to do that but they thought it was a water repellent issue which it wasn't. So who knows how much extra time went to that at $175 an hour or so. We also noticed later that we didn't get the tire valve caps back and I went to turn on the air conditioner unit in the 96° heat in downtown Saceamento and they had not turned the switch back on for that in the generator. That meant that after consulting with AI during a work event, I I was crawling under the RV in downtown Sacramento on the street to open the generator cover and flip the switch. The work overall cost $1100. Obviously, we did not think it was particularly affordable, convenient and we're not pleased with the handling of the relatively simple items on our list. There's another place not too far from us and a highly rated mobile technician as well that maybe we'll try next time. ARV business model involves multiple different technicians working on the van, which is why it takes so long, but in addition to the inconvenience we just got pretty mixed results on the work.
