Brought my 5th wheel into RV Travel World of Roseville last week for a last minute repair before a two week trip. Not only were they extremely helpful and responsive, they were able to squeeze me in in the day of and had my trailer repaired and back to me in less than 24 hours. The service department team were friendly, professional and communicated excellent during the process. It was my first experience there and I will definitely be back for all future needs regarding my 5th wheel.

Setup the freelander just like how they said to!

I've been writing this review for a few days now. I want anyone and everyone that is looking to rent or even thinking of renting an RV to come to RV Travel World. Their manager, Selah (and everyone for that matter) is so customer service-oriented, HONEST, just straight NICE- they treat you like family right off the bat! When I was just searching for quotes and I didn't yet commit to renting from them- I was very open about looking at other companies- Selah looked at what I had received from other companies and did a comparison on what they could and couldn't offer/ match. Needless to say, there were a lot of hidden fees that the other companies had which RV Travel World did not. They're transparent with all of their fees and it's very reasonably priced. As a single mom, I have to be frugal and I was super ecstatic that I could actually afford something like this to do with the kids! This was the very first time that I was renting an RV for camping, and I was very intimidated. Selah and Kyle -#1 were SOOOO PATIENT with me and my questions! A tip that I would highly recommend for first timers is when they're explaining in how to work everything- record them and ask as many questions as you can while recording! When we were on our trip, I referred to the recordings MANY times over! When we got back, the easy return process was just THAT! SUPER EASY! You pay it with the fees but after a long vacation, the last thing I wanted to do was clean the RV. Of course, don't trash it, but scrubbing and sanitizing it was not something I was looking forward to, so there you go! Lol As I said, everything was outlined and we had zero hidden fees. I cannot recommend RV Travel World anymore than I already do and they will be the ONLY place we rent - and maybe one day...purchase- from! If I could give multiple reviews just to give many more stars, I would. Thank you Selah and Kyle#1! Keep up the great work and God bless you and your families!

    Credit score hit 56-pts

We went to RV Travel ready to purchase a new RV. We worked with Paula. She told us she can waive delivery fee then changed her story in front of the owner Jamie. We both looked at each other in disbelief. Then she mentioned that unlike other dealers they don't run your credit down (we both recall her referencing 54-pts). But they ran our credit down by 56-pts in a day. When I called her the next day, she didn't believe me, told me it's only one point drop and it never drops more. They have no respect for people's credit score and think customers are fools who misheard them each time. So we canceled our purchased as a result of this experience. Here is the photo to prove the credit score drop. We do not trust these people. We bought our RV elsewhere.

We purchase a 2016 Tiffin Allegro Bus and traded in our Fuzion toy hauler. From the start to the finish even through Covid challenges the staff came through. We worked with Randy. Ask for him specifically if you want a like friend experience. They are now our extended family. RIck, Mike, Louis, Randy, Jamie and the whole staff. Thank you all. Brent and Cheryl Andrews

    Alan & Regina's new trailer

My wife and I traded in our travel trailer for a new one that better suited us. From the time we stepped onto the property to look at the inventory to the time we finally drove off with our new rig, we were treated as "valued" customers. Paula Hill, the sales associate, was very knowledgeable about the RV industry and guided us through the process with her expertise. The other members of the staff showed us the same courteous and professional service. We came away knowing we would have the support of this establishment throughout the ownership of our trailer. What we most liked, is the "forever" warranty. So long as we have the "annual" required maintenance done, our rig will be covered for as long as we own the unit. A great place to consider your next RV purchase. Alan & Regina

We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

Best part with this place is not just the excellent work they do but the communication too. I've heard nightmare stories from friends about other RV repair places/dealerships. Fortunately, I've only brought mine to RV Time and it's exceeded my expectations. If you live anywhere near this place, I'd highly recommend bringing your rig here. Great family owned business.

We had a very specific type of travel trailer in mind, and Basecamp had what we were looking for. Finding the right trailer is only part of the process--the rest comes down to communication style, customer service, and making the experience as smooth as possible. From our first phone call, the Basecamp team was responsive, and easy to work with. When we arrived for our appointment, Erica gave us a thorough tour of the trailer and answered all our questions. The trailer was competitively priced, but we had been pre-approved for a specific amount and wanted to be sure everything would fit within our budget. While working with Erica, the owner, Skylar, took the time to come over and introduce himself. While there wasn't a lot of room to negotiate, he wanted to make the deal work and did what he could. We really appreciated that effort. The paperwork was straightforward, and a week later we returned to pick up our trailer. Their technician was thorough and made sure we understood how everything worked. As first-time travel trailer owners, we had a good experience. It was a smooth experience. From start to finish, Skylar, Erica, and the entire team made us feel comfortable. We would recommend them to anyone looking to sell or purchase an RV or travel trailer.

Because we were told the purchase was happening, we paid off the negative equity on the RV based on his word and assurances. He was very convincing and made us believe everything was set. Then, the day before we were supposed to bring the RV in to finalize the sale, we texted RV Maxx just to confirm everything. The daughter responded saying her father was "no longer interested" in buying our RV anymore had already bought 2 trailers and simply said "good luck." What makes this worse is that if we had not reached out ourselves, it appears they had no intention of even informing us ahead of time. After all the promises and talk about integrity, the deal was dropped at the last minute after we had already taken financial steps based on their commitment. We got it back after three weeks and on the walk-through were actually told that the guys took all the old tape off and cleaned it up when they didn't even need to do that but they thought it was a water repellent issue which it wasn't. So who knows how much extra time went to that at $175 an hour or so. We also noticed later that we didn't get the tire valve caps back and I went to turn on the air conditioner unit in the 96° heat in downtown Saceamento and they had not turned the switch back on for that in the generator. That meant that after consulting with AI during a work event, I I was crawling under the RV in downtown Sacramento on the street to open the generator cover and flip the switch. There's another place not too far from us and a highly rated mobile technician as well that maybe we'll try next time.
