Went to this place for lunch because we were feeling a little hungover and wanted to get a good burger. Complete mistake. The person at the counter asked us how we would like our burgers and we said medium. When they brought us the burgers they were dangerously rare. We didn't realize it until the middle of the burger because the middle part was actually raw. So of course I told one of the workers and he said that he wished we hadn't eaten so much of it already and it would be too late for a refund. Then when I told him I ordered it medium he tried to gaslight me and tell me I was lying because they don't ask customers how they would like their burgers cooked (but they did ask). Anyways after going back and forth we finally talked to another girl who was much nicer and brought us another burger but I just would never go here again. Ok so the hospitality was great. After me and two friends ordered 2 burgers and a fried chicken sandwich everything went kind of downhill as the burgers were very inedible. They were advertised as a smash burger and cost almost 23 dollars after tip each (without French fries may I add). Wasn't even a smash burger too. A decent hockey puck size of overcooked burger meat and not very well seasoned just utterly disappointing when u pay good money. It's a burger... SpongeBob be flipping those better. So as a first timer I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and flow of this place. Very casual with a staff who beams with care for customers and their dining experience. I order the chicken sandwich (absolutely delicious) and my friend ordered the pasta which was small but satisfying and also amazing. I use to love this place but I don't know what happened. Management and the owner should be ashamed of themselves. They had teenagers running the show not their fault but the whole experience was a nightmare. No one properly trained them. The $15 burrito was all rice and egg literally missing half the ingredients. When we confronted the waitress about that disgraced meal she said "I don't know." Overpriced is understatement. Everything was below average at best. There was not a manager or shift leader to give these kids direction the owner or manager left them in the weeds. Not right at all. A love of fare....(their statement) NOT FAIR AT ALL for the dinner service The setting is pretty and the service is good. first of all for a restaurant that sells itself on the whole organic/local /seasonal /nature there's hardly a vegetable plate , so as a vegetarian i felt needless to say , cheated. I had 3 choices , raw vegetables with miso ( which I somehow can't applaud the chef for that remarkably uninteresting idea , nobody goes out to a restaurant to eat a plate of raw vegetables) shaved peas salad thing with what they called shiitake bacon ( which is what I ordered and I can safely count on one hand the teeny bits of the "shiitake bacon" which could have been anything really) and bucatini pesto ( again wow what an idea ....it would be special if the pasta was homemade or the pasta a surprising version of). My dinner companion had the burger and fries , the burger was mediocre and looked it and the fries were underwhelming , the whole plate looked very sad. to add to this underwhelming story of a restaurant, the whole cheese selection which is extensive was we were tole not available and when it came to desserts mainly ice creams which I was very keen to try , only 2 flavors from the list were available.!!!! Let me state that we were there on a saturday eve and they are only open for dinner on fridays and saturdays, so..... on the expected busiest night of the 2 nights u are open , half the menu is not available??? as a customer/ diner I would like to be told that before I decide to sit down. so basically I went home hungry and very disappointed. It's really too bad I am a year round resident for now 18 years in Amagansett and look forward to new restaurants as we don't have that many . I take my food seriously and the I believe the restaurants should too since it is their business . I felt cheated and lied to. I would like to add as well because it kind of shocked me , my neighbors had 2 dogs sitting on the banquette at the table with them, not service dogs. I could have eaten elsewhere with better food and more reasonably priced. I ordered a burger and they didn't even ask me how I would like it cooked. I just had the best Cheeseburger in the world. And that's how it all started. Rosies is a great place to grab some of the freshest locally sourced food around. Just had a party for my wifes birthday and it was the perfect spot The food and cocktails were the stars of the show. The cheeseburger was so good I could have one a week. Scallops were delicious and the Lobster roll was a huge hit. Christina and her staff went beyond anything I could have expected and really made a special event perfect. Chef made her a carrot cake that should be considered as an addition to the regular menu it was so great. Finally, all the kids had homemade ice cream to top off a perfect night. This place is good... depending on the day you go and who's working. I came once on a busy saturday and got service right away, and the three girls working there were great. However, I came today to the window to get a simple cold brew and takeaway avocado toast and had to wait 35 minutes! People who ordered after me got their food extremely fast and when I asked about the hold up the girl working the counter said to hold on another minute. Finally after waiting for over half an hour I went up again and asked what was taking so long and they told me there had been a mix up in the kitchen. I ordered the first thing on the menu! When they finally gave me the avocado toast I asked "is this a joke?" 35 minutes for a tiny piece of toast! In that time I could have driven home, made it myself and washed the dishes! read more

My kale salad was large leaves of very tough kale with a few ( I mean very few) ribbons of vegetables. This is not an entree salad and it was not the way to prepare a kale salad.
