A busy Mother's Day lead to a wait but we finally got seated at a beautiful open window area overlooking the bay . Perfect setting for a lovely dinner . Picked a few shareable dishes Bistro calamari on a bed of Asian style noodles - unique serving style which tasted good though but acidic for my taste Tile fish with basil rice & crab meat was a pretty plate and darn tasty. Fish was silky breaking off with a slight nudge sitting in a bed of basil rice flanked by carb meat . A tumultuous mouthful knowing me off my feet . Dessert pick was Key lime pie . The custard was delicious but the crust felt a bit too thick and hard . Good food with quick service in a noisy setup with an uplifting backdrop .. it's a must at the Hamptons

Sunset view from Bostwick's

Good food and a great view. The service was great and our meal was served quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal (duck was a bit tough to eat without a steak knife). Halibut and seafood pasta were delicious.

$55 corkage fee per bottle. Not to be confused with $28 corkage fee at Bostwick's Chowder house. Honest mistake but too bad. They don't post this fee and our server did not confirm the fee when she asked if we had bought the bottle at the bar. Soured our otherwise beautiful sunset and wonderful company. Appalled by the manager's stoic response and server's sass. I'm sure they don't need our business because they don't take reservations and you'll likely have to wait for a table even on a Monday night. Will spend $200 elsewhere next time.

Always stop here at least 3x when we're in the area. Delicious seafood. Great views! Recommend getting there early since they don't take reservations

We came here on a day trip to the Hamptons and had a wonderful dinner! The restaurant is right on the harbor (as the name would suggest lol) and it felt so luxurious to be eating next to a stunning view of the sunset over the dock and sailboats. The food itself was excellent - for apps, we shared the fish tacos and the baked clams (both super yummy!). I wasn't super hungry so got the fig salad for my main entree and it didn't disappoint. Service was attentive. A truly memorable meal!

This place is a reminder of life. It has its ups and downs. When the food comes out right, it is great. But when it comes out wrong, it sucks. The food when it came out right was AMAZING... BUT.... we had to send it back once before they got it ri The Shishito peppers were amazing. The scallops (when cooked properly) were very good. Our server was great. The ambiance is very casual. Overall I would rate this spot a 3.5

This was excellent. We started with the baked clams and burrata, then got two specials -- a crab-stuffed flounder and a blackened halibut. Every dish was great, although the real star of the meal was the key lime pie we got for dessert. (We also got a brownie sundae, which we also liked.) The fish and chips on the kids menu was also excellent. Definitely a good candidate for a return trip -- I think I preferred this to most other similar seafood places in the Hamptons.

Eat here. Ima keep this review short and to the point. The view of the setting sun plus the expertly prepared food plus the good company and spirits and good service to boot made this one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in recent history. When I visit the area again, I will eat here again. Do not order the peppers from the appetizer menu. They are some sort of fried sweet peppers. That's all. Maybe it's a local thing I don't understand, but it was a no for the entire table. You will thank me later.

Bostwick's is the perfect place to watch the sunset. The food is excellent! The only downside is they don't take reservations. A typical wait time for us has been 30 min to an hour and a half. You can wait in the bar area an have a drink while you wait, and if you are lucky enough to grab a couple of bar stools you can enjoy an appetizer. Highly recommend Bostwick's on the Harbor!

Steamers. Yum!

We returned last night to Gann Rd, home again to a Bostwicks. Bostwicks on the Harbor is home to consistently excellent food, solid drinks, and phenomenal sunsets, and last night we got a little of each. It's important to note that they don't take reservations, but you can stop by after four pm and leave your name, so we send someone to put our name in at 5:45 to get a table at 7. otherwise you can just go, drink and wait. The waiter fired off the specials, there were 2 appetizer specials but at 7pm they were already out of their striped bass entree special. Our friends ordered the artichoke salad special, and the tuna tostada, i ordered steamers and a lobster roll, my go to at beach bars, and my wife ordered the duck, which they were also out of, so she settled for the fluke, not her favorite. The steamers were large and tasty, and my lobster roll was tops, and accompanied by fruit slices and killer French fries. The tuna tostadas were excellent, pretty much everything we ordered was great, although my wife's fluke was just ok. The waiter came over to give us the dessert options: a molten chocolate Cake with chocolate ice cream. Wait, chocolate ice cream? Can we get vanilla? No, they were out of vanilla ice cream. How do you run out of vanilla ice cream? We were told it was a supply chain issue, which would be rectified the next day. Other options included key lime pie, our choice, and almond cake, also served with chocolate ice cream. The pie was fine. Key lime is always good, so no complaints. The sunset developed beautifully while we were there, and we had a sunset side table, but the restaurant was remarkably loud for an open air place. So much so we could barely hear each other across the table. In all the experience rated a four, and if they had all the options, and we could have ordered the duck, it probably would have been closer to A five. Highly recommend.

There was so much history here and the restaurant just hasn't done anything to improve on it. Food is decent, but not worth the price. Service is mixed and uneven. First, the bar has become super sterile and it's lost a lot of its soul. You guys got rid of the wood paneling in the bar, the booths, everything. There was no one at the bar and the bartender kept me waiting for like 10 mins and didn't clean the dirty glasses from the party my before me off the bar. See the picture. It was gross. The steak was good but under-salted. The Brussels sprouts were horrible and the Gigi salad has been massacred. You killed a simple salad. The bread was microwaved nonsense - it came so hot it was inedible and then when it cooled it was so hard to eat...I mean it's bread. Not that hard. The carrot cake was one of the worst I have ever had and you had a good carrot cake. You weren't even making it - you were buying the carrot cake. Just sell that one. This is such a sad thing that happened here. Actually depressing.

5/5 "Hidden Gem on the Way to Montauk!"…read more Every time we head out to Montauk, our first stop--without question--is always Tutto Caffè in East Hampton. It's one of those rare places that instantly feels like a part of your tradition, even after just one visit. Tucked away from the more obvious main spots, this café truly feels like a hidden gem that more people should know about (but selfishly, we almost want to keep it to ourselves). The ambiance is simple yet elegant--cozy, welcoming, with a laid-back Hamptons charm. You can tell there's thought behind everything, from the perfectly brewed coffee to the friendly and attentive staff. It's the kind of place where you can sit outside and relax in the morning sun, or tuck into a warm corner and recharge before continuing your journey. We usually come for breakfast, and this time we ordered the avocado toast and sunny side up eggs. Both were absolutely delicious--fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. The only thing we noticed is that the portions are on the smaller side. Not a dealbreaker at all, especially considering the quality, but we do wish they were just a little more generous, especially after a long drive. One suggestion: it would be amazing to see an Eggs Benedict option on the menu one day. A classic like that would be a perfect fit here, and we'd be the first to order it! Overall, Tutto Caffè continues to be one of our favorite stops along the way to Montauk. Great coffee, great food, great people--and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. Highly recommended!
