I wish I could give zero stars because I have honestly never been somewhere on several different occasions with such terrible service. The quality of the food certainly doesn't warrant the wait either. Today, my husband and I waited 25 minutes at our table without anyone coming by to ask our drink order or even apologize for the wait. So glad we found this place! I am pregnant and have been craving something different about every other day, and this place has IT ALL. Such a cute traditional looking diner. Very friendly and fast service. I had a super delicious strawberry shake, and then the pork tenderloin with onion rings. I really would have given 4.5 stars, with the only deduction being for the sandwich. I'm originally from Indiana, where Pork Tenderloin is their specialty, so just by comparison, it wasn't the best I've ever had. Nice dinner and people. .went when was busy and service took a minute and our didn't come out right. We had the chicken fried chicken dinner and meat loaf , catfish, popcorn shrimp. I think house salad , dinner bread roll and mashed potatoes was good but our other food tasted like it fried frozen food and meat loaf looked TV dinner meat loaf and brown gravy was little salty. I seen a steak sandwich some was eating that look good I might try that but other that I love look inside place but they was short staff. Food was just ok. Baked potatoe was not cooked all the way. Taco salad was ok. Fish not so good. Worse part was the waitress, when we asked her to override the extra charge for the gravy she got argumentative. She said she didnt have to warn us that they would charge us extra for 2 extra spoons of gravy. We value good customer service. Needless to say we won't never go back to this place. read more

I feel it is my moral obligation to write this review. Everything was straight up from a Walmart frozen dinner aisle. Gravy tasted like the cheapest gravy from a can, Walmart insta mash potatoes tasted better, meatloaf was practically in inedible. The chicken and waffles - chicken were frozen chicken tenders that were cold. Service was... well there wasn't any. The place was practically empty but there were at least a dozen servers standing around. Food came quick - because it was probably stolen from a hungry man frozen dinner. The only thing that was good was the bud light that I had. I would rate this 0 stars but yelp wouldn't let me. I feel gross. read more

I'm not quite sure how this place has 4 stars!!!! We went here today bc we had errands in the area and we didn't want to drive to the other end of town to go to our usual spots. With 4 stars we thought why not give it a try. Man were we disappointed!!' The food was absolutely disgusting! It sat in the window for a long period of time while our server focused on her side work getting complete. When it finally arrived at the table it was cold and flavorless. My wife's eggs Benedict had broken hollandaise, an incredibly overly thick piece of overcooked ham steak, and overcooked poached eggs. Her side order of grits were completely watered down and inedible. When we asked the server to take them off the bill bc they were so watery and couldn't be eaten she said "let me see if I can do that". Not an appropriate response for the situation. After that we didn't even want to mention how bad all of the other food was. My turkey sandwich was not much better. Zero flavor and soaked in disgusting gravy. The stuffing was rock solid. We barely ate anything and even with the little we ate our stomachs were so upset for the rest of the day. We paid almost $30 to barely eat and feel sick after. My family has been dining at Rosie's for the last 2 years & have always enjoyed our visits. However tonight, by far one of the worst dining experiences we ever had. Our server did not greet our table for almost 10 minutes, my salad came out brown & slimy. Lastly my friend chicken platter was burnt! Burnt to a crisp! Let me start off with I love this place.. usually..... However DO NOT come here at night. The staff is very poor. My wife and I were seated and waited 10+ minutes before anyone came to ask what we would like to drink. Once we got served our food, half of our order was missing, mind you it was just the two of us. I informed the waitress politely that half of our order was missing and they proceeded to take 15 minutes to get the rest out to us, we waited 15 minutes for tortillas, a side of green Chile and a side of sour cream. By the time it got to us we were halfway done eating and our food was cold. Normally I would not let this type of thing get to me, but as our visit here progressed it just kept going downhill which as you've guessed led me here. I'm giving two stars because my wife and I absolutely love this place, but we will not make the mistake of coming here during the evening again. read more

Rosie's is amazing! The best Oreo milkshakes I've ever had, a definite must have! The bacon blue cheese burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were crunchy and perfectly seasoned. We ordered and had our food within 15 min and the service was great. Our waitress was on top of the table the whole time, giving us advice on what to order and replenishing drinks/dips. Went there on Tue Sept 5 th around 7 :15 pm. Half of the place was empty. Asked for a booth for my wife and I and was told it will take 15 min. There booths available on the empty side. Ordered a cold tuna fish sandwich. After a long wait what I've got was a very small size portion. Two small size old stale frozen slices of bread with tuna in the middle and a slice of all American fake cheese in between. No green and no tomatoes in between either. The price of a regular tuna is the same as of the tuna melt on the menu? Asked why and waitress said that it is what it is. We stopped going to Rosie's a year ago due to bad food small portions bad service long wait and exagerted high prices. Last night we were on the way to Thornton and decided to make a quick stop for a bite to eat. So far nothing changed about this place. You can get better food better service and better prices at any Truck Sops around Denver. Waitress was ok but nothing special about it Tipped her 20% complained about my meal and told her that we will never come back. Wife's Mexican hamburger was ok. People don't waist your time and money patronizing this place .Let them going out of business since they don't care anyway. read more
