Went here with my friends after landing in Denver. I ate lightly after having dinner on the plane. Just took a small Caesar salad, which was good and filling enough. The lettuce was fine and the dressing was wasn't anything special. Can't really complain for eight dollars. I did enjoy the pickles they had. The atmosphere was pretty casual and social. I wouldn't call Ted's a steakhouse, but more of an upscale grill (albeit it's got that "Come as you are" vibe, so dress code is not required). They have a good sized menu with a nice selection of apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, etc. and it's all reasonably priced. I ordered the filet, which was alright... Traveling for work, went here fora group dinner with co-workers. We had to make a reservation, this place is incredibly busy. Our Server was ok. Opened with a mixed drink from the bar, the drink was mostly ice, and they mixed up my drink brought me something I didn't order. Ordering dinner I ordered a New York strip, but they brought me a boneless rib eye, when I pointed out that the cut of meat I ordered was not what I got, the server looked at what she wrote when she took the order and said "Oh yes, that's a New York Strip". She made no attempt to correct the mistake, and the group I was with was large enough she moved on to other people in the group and ignored me. The rest of my meal was good, but I won't be going back. For the prices they charge they should be able to get the right cut of meat to the customer. I feel like I got robbed. Maybe it would have been better if I hadn't gone there when they were busy? Then again, a place of this size and caliber should be able to handle a busy dinner service. read more

We visited this past Friday evening with a 7:45 reservation, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. There was a 10-minute wait to be seated despite our booking, and another 15-minute delay before our server arrived at the table. Today it felt like the service took forever and everything was slow. Ordered the bison NY strip and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. I still prefer beef but the bison was good. Main problem I had was that the steak was not trimmed well. With every bite I had inedible silver skin - finally after several bites, I ended up cutting the remaining steak into smaller pieces and cutting off the silver skin. Visiting the area on a work trip, this place was recommended to me so I decided to try it out for dinner. I thought I would beat the "Dinner rush" by going at 5ish but when I got there it was already really busy, and only got busier as it got later. Since it was my first time I was having trouble deciding what I wanted to get but since I saw bison on the menu I landed on a Bison Burger, which you can't go wrong with and the server confirmed that it was what they were know for so that settled it. Food came out relatively quickly for how busy they were and it was good! I opted for the 50/50 fries and onions rings for my side, glad I did and for the patty medium well, but I recommend you go with medium but even with that mistake the burger was still pretty juicy and tasty! I finished of the experience with their house made cheesecake and it was delicious, smooth and creamy contrasted by the slight crunch from the crust and the berries gave it earthiness.
