Rosie's Diner is definitely the place to be for breakfast! Fun fact, according to our lovely friend, Google, it is an original 1950s diner! Its menu is quite massive and I am sure everyone in your party can find something they would like. Craving something sweet? Try their fried oreos and twinkies! Or even their milkshakes which are amazing and super creamy. I do have to mention that their prices are slight higher than other diners in the area but I honestly love the environment and staff so I think it is worth it. read more

Dining at Rosie's Diner was a great experience! The place is decorated according to the 50' and that was the first time I went back in time like that. The menu had many options, from several meats (chicken, meat, pork, seafood) to pasta, mexican food, hamburguers, and a dessert menu. I didn't see a gluten-free option, but I saw some vegetarian options (like salad, fries). I ordered a steak fried with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. It was very good! My friend ordered some ribs and it came plenty! So not only did I got to have mine, I also tasted some more food. I finished with a cup of coffee cappuccino, which was the only thing I didn't like since it was very sugary to me. So, I would recommend not putting sugar and letting the customer decide to add according to their own taste. Customer service was excellent. We didn't get anything wrong or not ordered, food came fast, drinks came fast too and everything we asked came promptly. So 10 out of 10 for customer service! Overall it was a great experience! Came here for breakfast this morning. It was decently empty which was nice. They have a lot to choose from. I got a little mix of everything. The hash browns were a nice mixture of crispy and soft. The eggs were nice and fluffy. They had sausage patties which most breakfast places only have sausage links. They have both so it was nice to be able to choose as I don't really like sausage links. They also had nice pancakes. It was nice quality breakfast food. The diner itself is worth visiting just for its decorations. It would be cute to take pictures in but it's nice for the experience. The staff was very nice and the service was speedy fast. Definitely worth making a trip here. read more

Craving breakfast food for dinner, my gf and I searched for a place that's not named IHOP or any chain restaurants and we stumbled across Rosie's Diner. A very nice retro themed and designed diner. Lighting is great and the decorations are fitting with great colors, but we came here for food not atmosphere. She had the pancakes which were good and fluffy. They were the right portions and will fill your pancake craving. She had a side of grits which we had to return because it had an odd taste to it but the waitress was happily to replace it. We decided not too and not waste any food. The chicken fried steak was nicely portioned, and satisfied my cravings. It was good but nothing to rave about. The gravy ended thickening and turned into an almost jelly like texture once cooled. Overall it satisfied our breakfast good cravings and would go here again. read more

First time at Rosie's diner and I called to make sure they had open tables as I was told there's always a wait. I was ready for some old time tock-n-roll breakfast. The parking lot was spacious and in I went. I just love the business logo and design of the building. Yep, sure enough there were a few empty tables and this place was rockin. Many customers and employees were plentiful. There was so much to look at as the interior decor was popping. I didn't know where to look first. I sat at a booth that had an old looking mini jukebox but I'm not sure if it worked or not. So many customers and the noise level was pretty intense. Ording food and drinks took a little longer then expected but understandable as their restaurant was filled by now with customers. The waitress was friendly but the atmosphere was not so inviting. I had a traditional breakfast as it's my favorite. The presentation of my food was a bit choppy and the portion size could have been more for sure. The temperature was luke warm and the butter never melted on my panckes. My breakfast was a little pricy for one person at $23 including my coffee. Great place to meet up with old high school friends who are traveling. It's casual and has really tasty food. One can get breakfast all day. They serve both candy and alcoholic beverages. They made a good Bloody Mary. My husband had a huge breakfast burrito. I had a delicious omelet. They offer plenty of parking and the bathrooms are clean. My sister and I visited from Texas and let me just say, this is one of the cutest diners I've ever been to! When you walk in you're greeted by all the adorable Betty Boop decor and an adorable big ice cream cone at the counter. I ordered their stuffed French toast with a side of hash browns and fried egg. The French toast was generously filled with strawberry cream cheese and was so delicious, I highly recommend it. My sister ordered an omelette with mushroom and spinach with a side of hash browns and toast, which she enjoyed as well. Serving sizes are ginormous! Wait staff is outstanding. If you go at peak hours you will most likely have to wait! This place is a hot spot every day but especially from Friday through Sunday! I had such a great experience at Rosie's a few days ago that I had to go back and put Rosie to the true diner test before I left back to Los Angeles. My test of a good diner is how good their pancakes are. Sadly, Rosie's pancakes are sorely lacking. Super dry, and not much flavor. The texture was very similar to cornbread and every bit as dry. Regular pancakes should never have a grainy texture. Really bad pancakes. I mean really bad. 'Nuff said. The eggs, bacon, and grits that came with it were all mighty fine. My friend had the pot roast and it was also good. When I told my dad, who lives locally that the pancakes were bad he said, "Oh yah, I forgot to tell you that the pancakes at Rosie's are terrible." So, my unscientific conclusion that everything is good to eat at Rosie's but the pancakes. Sorry, Rosie. You have failed the pancake test in a big way. Study up. You can do better. Rosie's Diner located in Aurora Co. is just the spot to get your milkshake craving on. There is a large parking lot and Rosie's has a patio for outdoor dining. I opted to dine inside. Seated right away. There are booths , 2 seaters , and dining at the counter. Everything is covid compliant. Strawberry milkshake was delicious and so creamy. There were a few plates ordered but what stood out were the Monte Cristo and the club sandwich. Fries were crispy on the outside , tender on the inside. Sodas and water were constantly refilled and service was always with kindness. Very fun retro theme and music was rock n roll oldies. We LOVE going to Rosie's, and quite often bring our Grandson. The food is ALWAYS good, and we know what to expect. This last visit was the poorest we have EVER experienced. What Happened? Order was fried chicken, which was so over done that it was not edible, the taco salad had to have had at least a 1lb of gr. beef on it and the spices were not good. let alone I was charge $5 for adding ground beef. My grandson had a side of mac and cheese, basically no taste what-so-ever. After spending $50.00, I was totally upset at what this experience has turned out to be. Our waitress was nice but I don't appreciate that she changed the amount that I wrote in for her tip on the bill. $1.44 is not a lot, but I had already tipped 20% plus what if that $1.44 would have caused me an overdraft fee which is $35. $1.44 not much but this is still theft. If you go here make sure you check your credit card receipts to see if maybe she went ahead and added to your tip on your bill also. read more

We are big breakfast fans in our house; Rosie's never disappoints. The coffee is great, food is fantastic, and the service is wonderful. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, but if you time it right (early is best) it's no issue at all. The diner is always clean and the music is your traditional Elvis Presley style. If you are a coffee cup collector, you can buy one of their cups at the front checkout counter. I purchased one a while back and it is by far one of my favorite cups. It's nice and heavy which is perfect for work; especially because I am known to frequently knock my coffee cup over. All in all, Rosie's is one of our favorite breakfast spots. read more

Great selection, lots of food, and always a fun time in a diner. Apparently they bought this building from an authentic Diner- maker in NJ. I love diners and the east coast so it's great to find this near my work in Aurora. I had the fried catfish sandwich and a side of cole slaw. The food came out quickly and was large enough for me. The sandwich was on a good hard roll, with a smaller portion of fried catfish then the buns. There was a lot of fresh lettuce and tomato's which was nice. The fries were well seasoned and crunchy. The tarter sauce was tangy. The slaw was mayo based and fairly bland- for almost three dollars this should have been better. However, the main meal was filling and redeemed the coleslaw. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. It wasn't too crowded so everything came fast. Rosie's is close to my work so I'll be back. Hopefully to try a really good coleslaw next time! They pour Dry Dock and Fat Tire on tap. read more

The first time I came to Rosie's Diner was July 11, 2012. I signed the contract to buy our first home with my fiance. After that, it became a special place for us to go have breakfast, lunch and dinner. I always get a milkshake because they are so good. I have brought my in laws, my family and my best friend. Now it is also my best friend's favorite diner. Last time I visited I was 9 months pregnant and ready to pop. Today I came back with my baby girl and it was such a great experience. It was clean as usual. The server was very friendly. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and I loved it! I want to go back for more. My friend ordered her food and it looks so good as well! Really nice waiters and staff. Both pleasant and friendly to the customers as well as one another. Great vibe in that regard. The food though...left a LOT to be desired. I ordered a chicken fried steak skillet with scrambled eggs and a pancake. It wasn't fresh or tasty and I was pretty hungry when I visited and they say hunger is the best seasoning. The chicken fried steak arrived luke warm and limp, oldish and not crispy at all. The potatoes in the skillet had a distinctly "freezer burned" type taste to them. My egg was not set in the middle despite me asking for it "well done/cooked dry". The pancake was over cooked, dry and fell apart when cutting it... and had some weird red stuff dripped onto part of it. And the coffee was pretty weak and bleh. Out of everything the only thing that was hot and tasty was the gravy on my skillet. That being said, it didn't seem worthwhile to complain to the waiter and I was too hungry to wait for everything to be remade, and skeptical remaking it would really improve any facet of it. Maybe the chicken fried steak IF they cooked it fresh. But they clearly pre-cook and chop and store it for these skillets and it's just not good. Also, I was actually craving a biscuits and gravy type breakfast platter with meat and they don't offer that at all on the menu. I probably wouldn't visit this restaurant again for breakfast but I might give it a try for lunch/dinner. read more
