Over this last week, I've visited The Uptown Cafe, Erica's Place, and Rosie's Place. And no question, Rosie's place is is by far and above the best of the three. Excellent food. excellent service, best menu, and best ambiance. My Eggs Benedict was perfect. The best hollandaise sauce I've had in a very long time. My server was "top notch", and as I sat at the bar, I noticed how quick and efficient the server team, host, and casher, worked together. I highly recommend Rosie's place. read more

My friends and I are retired and once a week we travel to small towns in Indiana and enjoy lunch. We've previously dined at Rosie's and had a very nice experience. Today was different. We were seated and then no one came to take our drinks order for nearly 20 minutes. We put in our sandwich and soup orders when she came for the drink order because we had already sat there 20 minutes and we didn't want it to be even longer before she came back. 25 minutes later we still did not have our food despite asking about it twice. our server said well I've asked three times back there... I don't know what's taking so long. I said could you please mention maybe to a manager? We were not strident or angry, into this certainly was not our servers's fault but we were extremely disappointed because four tables surrounding us had been seated, served and one of them was finished and we still did not have our food. A manager came and said we're getting your food out just as quick as we can and I stopped her and said ma'am it's too late for as quick as you can because it's been 25 minutes and we've been here 45 minutes. She left the table and in less than two minutes came back with our food, sat in front of us said she was sorry and what else could she do for us and I said I'm not sure how to answer that; we just wanted our food. My friend's egg entrée was completely cold, my sweet potato fries were cold and my friend's soup was lukewarm at best. We waved the manager back and explained that our food was cold and must have been sitting for quite some time. She seemed upset took the food back and said she would get them to fix some more and I said you know I think we're just going to leave now I don't want to wait for more food to be prepared. As we turned to leave she told us to have a nice day but it seemed more in sarcasm rather than sincerity. I also want to point out that the prices have soared since our last visit. I'm not sure when or if we will come back to Rosie's, which is a shame because their bakery items are to die for. read more

We went on a weekday morning, so there was no wait! Our service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive and accommodating. Our drinks were always full and she made great recommendations on the menu. If you've never been here, no only is the food consistently great but their bakery is amazing. I highly recommend the Ooey Gooey Butter Cookie. I can't leave this place without getting one. They have have an Ooey Gooey Butter latte, which I indulged in this visit as well. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We weren't able to sit outside this time because tables were full, but this place is located on the cute main square in downtown Noblesville. Parking is free but only two hours, so just be careful if you plan to browse shops after you eat! read more

We had a relative in town who had to hit the road early, stopped in to get a coffee and then went over to Rosie's to get breakfast. The host informed us that outside drinks are not allowed. We only go to Rosie's a few times a year but had not heard of this policy before. We explained that I have food allergies and cannot drink their coffee. The host quickly said (unsolicited and without giving us a chance to maybe turn in the drinks at the counter) "Let me get the manager". Well, Shannon, was about as snarky as she could be. She repeated the policy and said "...it's the owner's decision." When we explained that I am unable to drink their coffee, she said "Well, you can drink water." She went on to say that brining a drink in would be a heath code violation. We commented on her sarcastic and impolite attitude and she doubled down as we left saying "Thank you for helping us not violate the heath code." Rosie's is always a great brunch option when we're in the area. Today was perfect for after our hair appointments in 20° weather and 07° wind chill. Tami selected one of her warming favorites - oatmeal. She lauded its perfect consistency as well as very fresh strawberries and bananas. My cold weather 'go to' is soup and sandwich. From the 'Pick 2' menu, I had Tomato Basil soup and a half Grilled Ham & Swiss (Pickles are extra good also). Cute restaurant but the coffee is weak and they are stingy with refills. Tried 2 different breakfasts + the breakfast special, all were disappointing. The only thing 'fresh' here are the flavorless eggs. Everything else has the flavor and texture of processed food that came out of a can. For an extra poke in the eye, the cheese in the omelet was moldy! We really wanted to like this place, but instead paid $80+ for one word: 'YUCK' read more

One of my favorite special places. There are locations in Noblesville, Carmel and Zionsville, Indiana. The food, service and ambiance is consistent in the 3 locations. The extensive breakfast, lunch and brunch menu is supplemented with seasonal offerings. I have a difficult time finding a delicious quiche with a flaky homemade crust. They usually have two options available--meat and meatless. If I'm visiting in the early morning, i take the greens and dressing as a "to go." I eat the tiny fruit cup with the quiche. I'm pretty bummed that my experience at Rosie's was so mediocre. Maybe something is off at this location or maybe it was just crazy during the holidays. We stopped by for lunch and it was really busy and that should been the first clue it wouldn't be our day. We ended up getting called back way earlier than we were told so we hustled back and then the crowd plus the lack of space at the hostess stand slash checkout was a challenge. Then my eggs Benny was overcooked and bland. The waiter disappeared with our ketchup after I told her it was out and never came back with it (or came back at all really?) The restaurant itself felt very tight- I was worried my elbows might block the main path even. It was nice to stop by an old favorite but maybe I'll try zionsvilles location next time. read more

Rosie's is a go to if you're ever in the Noblesville area. Like most downtown Noblesville places, it's not very obvious from the outside, but when you step inside it feels like a classic diner meets mom's kitchen... in a good way! You can order bakery items from the front, or sit down at a table. If you're getting something to go, you HAVE to get a butter cookie! They are so good. When we sat down for breakfast, we weren't greeted right away, but it was a busy Saturday morning. Once we got our coffee, our server was attentive at bringing us refills, which I appreciated. I had a California breakfast sandwhich. It was delicious and a new take on a classic breakfast sandwhich (tomato, sprinach, avocado). My only complaint is that everything fell off the bun so easily so it was hard to eat. It came with breakfast potatoes, which were crispy and great! When we asked them to explain how we went further down in line, her response was that when more people add to the waitlist online, they get put in front??? Sadly, we liked it here until our last visit. While eating, my husband told me to move immediately and when I turned my head, there was a cockroach crawling right by my head?! It was immediately brought to the servers attention while I jumped to move my coat & purse where it was headed towards?! Great if customers take that crap home from Your restaurant?! She didn't want to kill it, so she got another male Server and after chasing it briefly, he finally was able to squish it. Manager came over a few min later and his response was a shrug of the shoulders and telling us "it's an old building?!" Ummm, perhaps don't use that as an excuse and properly exterminate? Sadly, now after coming here to read, I am seeing other recent reviews mentioning cockroaches as well recently?! My friend and I had brunch here for her birthday. We were sat right away on a Saturday! We both got coffee and mimosas that were delicious. I don't remember what my friend got for breakfast but she enjoyed it and said it was well priced for how much food she got. I had the yogurt parfait, turkey sausage and gluten free toast. The parfait was so delicious and the turkey sausage was great too. The bread was just okay. For being gluten free, I'm used to gluten free bread but even my friend said her bread was dry. I ordered a special omelet they had two weeks ago. The omelet was supposed to have bacon. I ordered to go and it did not. The staff was also very rude at pick up and I had to hold for ten minutes to just place my order. I called after I got home and noticed the ingredient missing and was hung up on twice and then two more with no response. I tried to contact via IG direct message and comment and no response either. Inside it was too loud to have a conversation with my lunch partner or the waitress. I wear an Apple Watch and noise level measured between 75 & 85 decibels the entire duration of our lunch. Prolonged exposure to 80+ decibels is the threshold for hearing damage .... How do the servers deal with this? Why hasn't mgt/ownership addressed the issue? It reminds me of the noise level at Texas Roadhouse in Muncie! I realize it is an old building, however surely there is something that could be done. Not sure I will ever visit again.... read more

I stopped in for a light lunch after visiting the Square in Noblesville. It was a bustling place--at 1:30, there were no seats available. We had a short wait, but it wasn't too bad; they have a waiting area, or you can pop into a nearby shop and get a text when your table is ready. The diner has a charming atmosphere with a nice historical vibe. The menu is wholesome and hearty, offering something for everyone. I plan to try breakfast next time. The person next to me was eating an omelette, and I'll have to order that next time because it looked excellent. I also got an egg nog gooey butter cookie, which was tasty. If you order it as part of your meal, they warm the cookie up before they bring it to you. Nice touch! It was really busy for a Tuesday lunch. I've heard a lot of great things about Rosie's so I was happy to finally come check them out this past weekend. We came on a Saturday morning and there was a bit of a wait- there is a waitlist you can join online so I did that before heading to the restaurant and it was estimated 25-40 minutes at that time. By the time we got there and checked in, we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes which wasn't bad. The only negative is there is VERY minimal waiting space. There are maybe 4 chairs and a little bench and it's in the area where people have to check in for a table and in front of the bakery/cashier area. It wasn't bad for us as the weather was ok outside to wait but it would be a bigger inconvenience in the winter. Once we were seated, we had immediate service by our waitress Jodi. I ordered the chai tea which was very enjoyable. I had an omelette for breakfast (came with 3 toppings- went with onion, green pepper, and American cheese & appreciated the amount of toppings!) and the portion sizes were great. I appreciate all the GF options on the menu as well- the sourdough GF bread was good with butter or jam and the eggs. The country potatoes were delicious as well- this may be one of my new favorite places for brunch! There is another location closer to my house in Carmel so I plan to check them out. There are so many tasty pastries/cookies/cinnamon rolls (these looked AMAZING) that you can get as well- there was a gluten free cookie and brownie option but their other items looked much better & I wish I could have tried some of those. read more

Stopped in with a large group after attending an adoption hearing for my youngest son. The place was awesome and the staff was amazing. I am vegan and my sister in law is gluten free. They were able to accommodate both and went above and beyond to prevent cross contamination of gluten for my sister in law. As you can see in the picture, my oldest son said they have the "best fries ever." All around delightful place. It's busy and there's a reason! The online waitlist makes it so easy to plan ahead. The food is delicious, it's a cozy and everyone is so welcoming. The eggs are always cooked perfectly no matter what the dish. I love the unique breakfast options like the eggs blackstone with cornbreads roasted tomatoes and poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce. The bakery items are not to be missed! I'm a very laid back person but I met a friend for brunch this morning and after eating my 2 breakfast tacos and biting into the third tacos, discovered 2 black hairs in the taco. I have blonde hair so I knew it wasn't my hair. Our waitress was also the rudest waitress I've ever had. She took our menus after only having them for about 5 minutes. We felt extremely rushed the entire time. My friend had to send her food back and the waitress was really rude. It was like we were really inconveniencing her.
