Inside you can tell at night it gets loud with live music and dancing! during the day its more subdued and chill. still have Latin music playing and there empanadas are worth the drive. the buenelos were amazing, just be ready to wait 15 minutes for them to be prepared fresh, so worth the wait! and the churros for the banana split were warm and delicious! read more

Guys!! Don't waste your time going to this place. Mi Pueblito used to be my absolute favorite spot for Colombian food, but after tonight's experience, I will absolutely not be coming back. The food quality was unacceptable: The empanadas were super hard. The chicken was dry and hard, tasting like it had been sitting out for hours. To make matters worse, the service was equally terrible. Our server, Orfa Amaya, was horrible. I am Colombian and I think the Colombian restaurant's are really disappointing because they charge you the service around 18% to 20% with out letting you know or ask. At this place when I asked them for the receipt they immediately change the way they behaved towards me, when I got the receipt I told them i was not going to pay for that service because they didn't ask me and I was never aware of it, that I was going to give them how much i thought was fear. Another waitress at the background was extremely disrespectful towards me, i didn't say anything to her because anyways I was not expecting to come back there, then they call the manager because o told them i didn't want the refund on cash, when the management came they was rude and never say I am sorry we should let know customers ahead to them was like I was bothering them.... I would be careful with your credit cards here. I paid for dinner and the server forgot to give me back my card. Went back the next day to get it with no problems. We have been ordering from here for several years and I just have to add a review after seeing the negative ones. First of all, most of the negative ones are old. I have been ordering from them for at least 3 years and just keep coming back for more. Recently, they forgot to add some items to our order, so we called them and they said we could come in and they would give us the missing items. We decided to finally go into the restaurant and had a wonderful experience! They remembered that they owed us some items and also gave us some free lentil soup that my son became obsessed with. He is kind of a picky kid and he downed the entire bowl. Besides that, my kids always try to steal our food when we order from them for a late night adult meal. They love all the meats, the yucca and the empanadas. I grew up in Brazil and this place is my go to for comfort food. Been craving some good empanadas like I used to get as a kid in Buenos Aires. Had high hopes, but unfortunately these are some of the blandest most boring empanadas I've ever had, in any country. Not 100% sure, but they seem like they came out of a bag, frozen. My friend brought me to this restaurant, I loved how it was open and spacious. There was maybe 2 people when we arrived by the time we left it was full. Our server really wasn't attentive, but I noticed he checked on other people quiet often. It was somewhat disappointing. This place serves decent Colombian dishes, and the employees provide good service to their customers. The only downside of this restaurant is that they are pushing you to pay 18% of gratuity to all the parties, no matter the size (including sole individuals). In my experience, I paid the amount my server told me verbally as my ticket and, when I signed the merchant receipt, I included more tips over the gratuity already imposed. The card receipt does not show the itemized bill, and whoever makes the transaction lets the customers give more gratuity without acknowledging the imposed tip. It seems like a well-structured scheme to get more tips from patrons. On my second visit for lunch, I requested the printed bill because I felt it was too much, and I confirmed what I present in this review. Since relocating here from New York last year, I have struggled to find a legit Colombian restaurant (not some fusion thing with dishes from 15 different latin countries disguised as Colombian). After trying all of the other ones, including one the most-horrible one (named after a tropical tree), we found Mi Pueblito and gladly drive the 35 mins to get here. Everything here is 100% legit Colombian. Empanadas are excellent, soups (sancocho and ajiaco) are on the money, and all of the entrees are made just like in Colombia. As a plus, they recently added a bar so now you can have a variety of alcoholic beverages. Honestly, the food is so good, we usually wind up eating, then taking a dish or two home to enjoy the next day. Do yourself a favor and delete all of the other places from your GPS, and get down here to Mi Pueblito for the most-authentic Colombian meal. read more

The staff did not embody what our culture is known for which is KINDNESS, ATTENTIVENESS, and FRIENDLINESS. We had to find our own table. The hostess was not welcoming and the environment was heavy. Went specifically for the Empanadas. Wasn't disappointed. They were awesome! My wife and her 2 friends had never had Colombian food before. After these empanadas , they were sold. My only complaints about the place is that they desperately need to invest in a margarita machine. By the time we got the "frozen margaritas," we were halfway done with the meal. Absolutely delicious food! My wife, my self, and my two kids decided to check this place out, my wife was craving some sweet plantains (maduros) and good Colombian food. Anyway, we ordered Bandeja Paisa, fried fish Mojarra Frita, and a side of fries for the kids. The fish came out as a whole fish, my wife was not expecting the eyes, head, fins, everything on her plate, she was quite surprised. So, I picked the bones off and removed the head and fins and it was good to go. Gave some fish to my picky kids, and they loved it, they ended up eating half of it. It was perfectly fried, tasted a bit earthy, fresh, sour and salty. The Bandeja was as expected, lots of meaty steak goodness and very tasty, sausage was very flavorful. This is the only restaurant I have been to were they can't get avocados (come on, Mexico is just down the road).
