As far as Long Island parks go, this one at least wins for its intimate size. It's not that well maintained, seeing the lawns are totally littered with geese droppings in the summer. Otherwise, it's an extremely tranquil scene, even with the Roslyn Road traffic. I could sit here for hours watching the lake bordering Old Northern Blvd., in any season, watching the ducks, fish, swans and geese and smaller birds or the surface freezing over. There's also free parking and the Bryant Library. I don't understand the big statue they installed in the last couple of years. Honestly, just a big hunk of chippable white rock embedded in the hill. We used to go sledding here! This thing will just get in the way. You don't need another reason to look at the park when you're passing by it. I mean, the natural landscape is beautiful on its own, along with the old water mill and the other houses. But whatever. It's still a decent point of interest, if you're looking for somewhere to stop.

I adore this park, and although it's not large, it's usually empty. I always come back to sit down and relax, reminding myself to take a breather from technology and all.

Love this park, first time here. Very little people, clean , well maintained and beautiful! Like a secret garden . Many beautiful residential houses inside the park . So lucky they living inside the park!

I've been coming here the past few weekends early in the morning. This small park can be quite scenic. I believe they renamed Roslyn Pond Park to Gerry Park. The colors of sunrise and sunset that reflects the pond in this park is pretty breath taking. It's very beautiful when the sky and trees mirrors itself through the pond. It's a great park for morning strolls and dog walks. It's very peaceful in the morning. The serenity during the sunrise and sunset here is remarkable.

Are there Ducks in / at this Pond?

Yes, mostly in the summer. I was just there beginning of this month (Sept) and the ducks flew south already.

The gardens are beautifully maintained, the grounds are peaceful and relaxing, and every path seems to lead to another picture-perfect view. Based on many recent positive visitor reviews, people consistently praise the stunning landscapes, historic mansion, tranquil atmosphere, and endless photo opportunities. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's truly a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours. Whether you want to leisurely stroll through the gardens, take lots of photos, or do a little of both, about two hours feels just right. There's also plenty of free parking, which makes visiting easy. While the current admission price of $22 per adult feels a bit high, the beauty of the property and the overall experience still make it worth the visit. Throughout the year they host great special events, including classic car shows and an incredible illuminated pumpkin trail before Halloween that has become a Long Island favorite.

First part was just huge rocks which hey that can't be helped I get it. We walked down the other way which was okay. It was also sort of dirty I mean maybe off season okay I get it. Just the beach park in Oyster bay off season doesn't look like this. Since this is like our only beach/bay whatever I'll let things slide. I'm still annoyed just at the fact we barely get any beaches but that's a whole other issue (with the county whatever lol) Like Mineola is just the no beach for you! Except this one. Obviously yes we can go to literally any beach if you wanna pay non resident fees or go to actual real beaches Jones, long beach, robert moses etc. I'll just stop my ranting and it's not this beaches fault lol. I gave another star because I liked the poop bags everywhere available. Have to come back with our pup :P They also have great events here though it's been years I still have fond memories.

Then asking her if she was SURE considering he is a service dog, she said "well where is his tag showing service dog" so I said "it's right on his vest that he's wearing... but that's not required to be there just so you know" then she proceeded to say "well you can get that anywhere, where are his papers" and I said "WE DO NOT NEED PAPERS HE IS A SERVICE DOG". This whole interaction was extremely disgusting for her behavior. The fact that I was treated as if I was lying and then asked for papers which is illegal and NOT required to have as of New York State was crazy. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
