I think the manager here is great. She is responsive to concerns and very customer oriented.

The good thing is is there's cheap prices and lots of variety for shopping. It's fun to go through all the aisles and look around and get ideas for creating a nice room for your home. The bad thing I've noticed is the Customer Service!! Every time I go into Ross DFL, the people checking me out are rude never friendly and have attitudes. Never a hello, how are you doing, did you find what you needed? Nothing of the sort just more concerned about getting out of there or talking to other employees. It feels like you're not even in the room, it's very strange. I don't know how someone could work like that without acknowledging your customers that pay your check. Could be just the store. I am referring to one on E Briarwood! I totally understand once in a while people have issues, just like any other human being, but it's 100% of the time!! Almost like I am bothering them with my business, so if that's how they feel I'll take it elsewhere then! I will shop at Burlington, Marshalls or TJ Max to get my discounts. It's pretty sad because I just can't understand how someone could have a bad day, over and over every day 365. I think the Management should look into hiring a lot better help and maybe they need to have better pay as well to receive such help! read more

I rarely come here and today was definitely a reminder. I was looking for some last minute Halloween accents but found some beautiful rainbow glasses instead. They had only four put out and a very nice salesman chatted it up with me. So as I proceeded to checkout the clerk started bagging the fragile glasses with no protection. I asked politely "can you wrap them?" She proceeded to but she would intentionally hit the glasses on the counter as if trying to break them. After that I went to customer service and told them what happened. We checked for any cracks and luckily they were fine. One word of advisors the disgruntled clerk. Wanted mirrors so came to check out what they had in stock. They have a good selection but only one design which I liked. I also found a graduation photo frame and some shapewear. The store was nicely organized and they didn't have a ton of items but enough. Good visit. Only thing I don't like is if you buy a large item you cannot take the shopping carts out with you. As a former retail associate I appreciate this but as a customer with a bad hand I didn't. I borrowed a cart from another retailer and returned it after use. read more

I stopped by this Ross on a Saturday afternoon to kill some time. The store is very well organized and the staff are friendly. As with any Ross you can find furniture, random nick nacks, snacks, clothes, home goods etc. The prices are always rock bottom so my experience at this Ross was extremely pleasant. I highly recommend stopping by! read more

The selection of clothes and shoes was very poor and the woman ringing people up at the register was incredibly rude to me and my fiancé. Glaring, yelling and having and attitude throughout the entire interaction. read more

The employees at this Ross Dress for Less are very rude. The store does have a nice selection of items.

Not really sure what was going on at this ross tonight at four o'clock, there were four employees behind the counter and another two employees to right of the counter. I waited in line behind a single customer making a large purchase for over 15 minutes with no help. I then watched an additional employee come in and clock in and go to the other employees that were chit chatting behind the counter while loudly dropping f bombs and still did not get checked out. I then set my things down and left without a single employee caring even though they'd spent 15 minutes avoiding noticing me or working. It'd be cheaper to just pay the single employee that was actually working. read more

Ahh, ROSS... I like. I like this ROSS particularly coz they have what I need and what I want, since I have been searching HIGH & LOW for Hubs Birthday Gift. Was here on Thursday March 15th 2012 with L, since we were in this neighborhood of Cornerstar Shopping Center. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The items are arranged in a proper manner. All in all I like this ROSS, perhaps it is new to this Neighborhood. Does not mind returning when needed. I am slightly confused with regards to the info especially the unit # of this ROSS, online and the receipt I have from ROSS of this location. Perhaps its a typo error online or from the receipt. Perhaps I shall verify on my next trip and update this review. Incompetent staff! Yesterday July 13th my friend wanted to use a fitting room & asked for her son to come in with her. Her son has autism and has to be with her at all times. The woman at the dressing room did not allow her to go inside the fitting. It wasn't until she asked to speak to the manager that the situation escalated. The worst thing is the employee at Ross was Latina and my friend is also Latina. The employer "didn't know" there was a family room where she could have used as a fitting room. The employee also stated that she should bring another person to take care of her son and doesn't know the cost of a caretaker. The employee was sent home for the day. As of right now the video has almost 25k views. I am hoping she gets fired for how she was treated. Learn how to train your staff on issues around inclusion and disabilities!!! read more

This Ross is one of the only few that is organized and clean all the products are put together and easy to shop the sizes were all on the correct hanger and that made it so easy to find all the XS for my lady. Thank you to this location and please keep it up. I'll only be shopping at this Ross from now on. read more

I'm all about Ross but this is probably one of my least favorite locations in the area. Everything seems to be picked over and I've seen multiple items with stains on them. I can usually find a few items at Ross (killer selection of prices on the cheap!) but her I never do. Pass. read more

I was there a while ago, shopping to burn an hour and half off and got to the register and had the rudest employee (Rugia) as soon as I got to the register she had an attitude she didn't say anything at first so I asked her how she was doing, she just rolled her eyes. One of my items didn't have a price so she had a bigger attitude I asked to speak to a manger just to find out she was the manger. She was so Unprofessional and just made the experience for us and other shoppers horrible. read more

Ridiculous I am boycotting I was planning to spend a lot of money on clothes but if you can't even try the clothes on how are you supposed to know they fit. I choose not to spend a dime on this store for the ridiculous policy. Yet my boyfriend can try on shoes at a nearby store. This makes no sense and the store is not even clean I didn't even want to put the clothes in the basket due to all the visible filth all over the baskets. The selection was terrible all women's and juniors clothes were patterned. Terrible experience. Unless they improve the experience I will never be shopping here again. Seriously! read more

On two separate occasions while in the check out line the customer service rep has balled up my clothing items and thrown them in the bag. When I've asked them not to do so I was told on both occasions that they "are not allowed to fold clothing or towels because they are being timed on the register." This is horrible customer service. I've taken my items back out of the bag and folded them and placed them in the bags properly. This takes even more time. I'm spending hard earned money on items from your store then to have a customer service rep to ball them up like trash and throw them in the bag is ridiculous and insulting. What is the purpose of timing your employees at the register? You're doing a great disservice to your customers. read more

Repulsive is the word that comes to mind when I tried to find a dressing room. The first one I tried had something BROWN smeared all over the walls, the one across the hall from it had a piece of gum stuck to the mirror frame and the mirror itself was filthy, several others had only HOLES in the walls where the hooks had been. Wasn't worth the exposure to risk trying anything on. They must have the same district manager as Old Navy. read more

Over the years I've given this Ross chance after chance to impress me, yet I fail to see a reason why I should ever come back here. Almost consistently, the selection is sparse and disorganized. I find clothes I like, only to see a tear, rip or snag. There has been one time in the last 18 months where checkout was very quick. This last visit confirms it: I never want to shop here again. I had a gift card from my grandmother to Ross, bless her heart. My mother and I went out to lunch at a nearby restaurant and decided to stop in here so I can use my gift card. I've had it for about 8 months and I want it out of my wallet. I find some cute shirts and try them on. The purple one has a snag on the front. No big deal, I know how to fix it, so I head up to the register to pay. I am the only one in line with a lady checking out at the customer service counter. There are staff everywhere, walking about, changing tags, and nobody jumps on a register. That's cool, I don't mind waiting. The manager is standing by the front door, not doing anything besides greeting people, while the staff does all the work. My wait increases minute by minute. The manager saunters over and goes "you won't have to wait much longer" and I respond with "I hope not, there's a lot of help here today." And he gives me a look and walks away. Finally I get to the register. The cashier is a middle aged woman wearing a Broncos shirt who was so pleasant. She is the reason I give Ross two stars. My gift card doesn't work. It's a simple gift card that you scan yet the register says that they need to call a number on the back and get verification like its a credit card. So one staff member gets on the phone to call the gift card department while I'm standing there waiting. The cashier and I do some small talk, she tells me about her daughter and how she's from here. Very pleasant exchange. Then the manager saunters over to me again and asks me if I have cash. "Yes," I reply. "Okay, then let's check you out with cash because your gift card isn't working," he says. "I don't think so," I say. "The whole reason for me coming in here today was to use that gift card so I don't want these items if you can't redeem a simple gift card that's still good." And he gave me a nasty look for an uncomfortably long time then shrugged and walked away. I swear it was like communicating with a teenager in a grown man's body. Very unprofessional. I like the Ross at Southlands more, but I think I might avoid Ross altogether. read more
