Did they change managers or something? The young cashiers today were so unprofessional. They just complained to each other while ringing people up. No hi or anything at all. Also, they should change their attitudes towards people giving them orders, they were complaining about supervisors. Besides that, store was clean and lines weren't so bad. Prices were good as well. Please go back to the old cashiers who were professional and kind. This new staff are not professional at all. A young lady should never call and elder "girl". This is the only good Ross. They have a wide variety of clothing for many sizes and the prices are great. The staff is a hit or miss. Nobody has ever been outright rude, but you can tell some don't want you to ask questions. Still, I live in Porter Ranch and have three Ross locations within four miles, and would rather drive the 100 miles to this location. read more

I love this Ross for their selection, always treated well, greeted and security has always been great. Today my phone died in store, I grabbed a charger that I was going to pay for and asked the cashier if there was somewhere I can plug into because I could not get into my car without my phone. He looked at me with a dead stare super not empathetic and said no there are no outlets you can plus into... i asked "where do all these computers and wires plug into then"? He still said no without a care in the world. I worked retail before I get it, you're tired and annoyed but losing all empathy for people is quite honestly disgusting. As someone who likes getting a low price when shopping, Ross is one of my favorite places to shop for quality clothing at a low price. As I approached the store entrance, I noticed signage informing customers of the precautions being taken such as all store associates wearing masks and requiring all customers to wear masks while shopping at the store. The store has a good layout however I did notice that there were clothes dropped on the floor in some areas. After finding two shirts to try on, I approached the dressing rooms and noticed that there were item tags available to correspond to the number of clothes I was trying on. When I went to the back to try on my shirts, I noticed that every other dressing room was closed in an effort to promote social distancing. Once I finished trying on my shirts, I went to the checkout counter. Although the lines were long, staff worked to quickly reduce the number of customers waiting in line. When it came time for me to pay for my items, the employee was friendly but efficient. Despite the disheveled appearance of the store in the clothing area and leading up to the checkout counter, some places, due to the low prices, I plan to shop here again soon. read more

The one Ross location that has size 5 rings for a while, not many but at least one or two of them, anyway, it's super convenient as it located around a lot of shopping stores and restaurants, so I can grab my Panera drink then come by to check out hidden treasures from Ross, this one has some good random stuffs, a lot of active wears and jackets for some reasons, they also have some rare men fragrances, so I cannot pass on them, I ended buying them all :) read more

Its Ross, this one in particular is really clean compared to the other ones i seen. Everything is really organized and easy to find. Sometimes you can find some gem's in the store if you look. Prices are fairly good, you'll never know what you'll find at a Ross. (TIP) Don't go during the weekends lines were really long and it felt like a zoo in there. They've added 2 fitting rooms in front of store that are mostly closed and so are the ones in back. Look, we all know Ross can get messy, chaotic and down right smelly (refering to their bathrooms) but if you know what to expect before going in, its really not that bad! This is a newer building, lots of space. They have all kinds of nic nacs and random things to look at. Their home decor is fun and inexpensive & you can conger up great gift ideas here. I personally don't shop in the clothing section but I will look at the shoes and purses...again great gift buying options. My advice if you don't like crowds or a mess...stay away from the fitting rooms! I feel bad for the associates just glancing at the endless piles. This Ross is usually extremely crowded. It's even crowded at night, almost as if no one in town had anything better to do then shop at Ross at 9 pm. Probably because they don't. It's ok, I know some of the employees personally so I am biased. This is an OK Ross. Best days to shop are Wednesday's and Thursday's. read more

I have always been a bargain shopper, so used to be a big fan of Ross stores from Wichita KS, to Prescott AZ, but not the one in Granbury TX. I had a previous really bad experience where the store clerk & the local store manager were very rude, in front of other customers, when I was attempting to return item without a receipt. But, it has been almost a year & was needing to return Christmas gift "with" receipt. Was exchange for exactly same size, brand, color, as found dent. However, even though I had bought the return item less than 10 days b4, the only other one they had was $2.49 more, & I was made to pay the difference! $2.49+ tax did not break the bank, but it was exactly the same, minus a decent!! If no receipt, would of been exact exchange! Can't win with this store, & will not return! Ross store 30 miles north in Weatherford Texas is good, recommend steer clear of Granbury Ross, know I will! read more

Every Marshall's or Ross store I've been in was in part - trashed - especially during holidays. As a result - the employees look miserable (who wouldn't be?) after having to clean up after customers who don't mind rooting through products like sows digging for truffles. But this store in Beaumont? Super clean. Super neat. Super organized. Grant it - I've only been there a few times but each time - night or day - holidays or not, it was IN ORDER. Staff and Check Out Line - They were friendly and did NOT look like they hated their jobs. Line-up was quick and easy even during the busy hour I was there. (During the holidays 2014 - they had workers walking around checking to see if you needed anything. They were obvious employees with clipboards...I realize they were primarily there to guard against shoplifting but still - it was nice to have them if I needed help.) Product Selection: I'm normally not a Ross shopper because I can't stand spending energy sifting through a dozen ugly shirts to find that one that looks good - even if it is slashed priced. However - this Ross has a good selection of clothes and sizes and the merchandise was in good shape :-) I'll be back. Both my teenage daughers are XS and petite so it was a relief to find shirts for $5 (!) that fit perfect and were CUTE. Referrals - I'll go back again and recommend it 100% By the way - I've heard several other women I know mention this store as being the only one they shop at and not one of them lives in Beaumont or Banning. Q&D: Unbeatable lines! When is there not a line of 20 or more people at a Ross? Never! Long & Not worth the wait: It never fails, I'll go into a Ross store (any location) and shop, find a couple things I kinda-like, go to check out and BAM! There is a hellish line 20 people deep! Why is it so hard to have more than 2 check lanes open? In this case, according to the manager, there were two people on break at the same time. Why not one go and then the other? If I wasn't there with my Mom who really wanted to buy what she found I would have just left like I have in the past. In this case I was stuck in line but I was so mad that the manager didn't coordinate her employees' breaks better that I got all the way to the check stand just to tell them forget it! I shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes to buy my stuff. It's impulse buying most the time anyway so you would think they would want to get you to spend your money as quickly as possible, but no. Why does Ross make it so difficult for me to give them my money?! Would I go here again? Nope. Not when there is Marshall's and TJ Maxx just to name a few. Should you go here? Naw. For whatever reason, this is one of my favorite Ross stores to go to. The dress selection is pretty solid and it's not as messy as other Ross stores that I've been to. For the most part, it's organized and clean. The lines aren't that bad, I mean, it's Ross, lines are a given. Oh, and the hours are awesome! They stay open super late for a Ross. read more

Well, i feel with these big chain stores these yelp reviews mean pretty much nothing but I'll say my piece. I will most likely not return to any ross store from now on. I wanted to return an item. I had a copy of my receipt for proof of purchase and they denied a refund to my credit card. They did give me store credit but i had proof it was mine. I looked up the policy and it didn't state anywhere original receipts needs. I had the bar code and items number just like the policy states. It's just frustrating. Came in here Thursday night with my family and my credit card was getting declined and I had to call my bank and the lead manager for the night was talking in low but loud tone so we would be able to hear her saying, " omg so much for us leaving early..." and just comments that make my family and I very unwelcoming. Very understaffed, had a manager doing nothing in an aisle next to our huge line, with only to cashiers during lunch, I even asked him to help, and he said he'll see what he could do, BUT did nothing! when i finally get to the front with a baby in my cart, i realized the shopping carts don't go into the street, and i had big pillows and bed in bag set etc...I asked if i left cart, can they push it out to street as i pull my car to front door so I wouldn't have to leave my baby in the car, they said no, and did nothing to help, so outraged i have not been back in two years!, worst shopping experience ever, I have shopped at Ross stores in Northern California, Nevada & Hawaii. read more

2/4 items I purchased were damaged. I had two different cashiers as I had to return after purchase one to get another item. Although both cashiers were rude, cashier #2 was adamant in her rudeness. She called "next" before the customer in front of me had even removed her card or the receipt had printed. She was already trying to check my things in before the customer had time to move. The same thing happened with me and I asked if she could hand me my receipt before tending the next customer and she exclaimed loudly that she wasn't allowed to and I said "is it not a part of customer service anymore?" and she said "no there's my manager (pointing to the first cashier who in fact did hand me my receipt), you can ask her". At this point my whole experience in this store has been inconvenient to say the least. I looked at the first cashier and stated that she handed me my receipt and she said "yeah but we're actually not supposed to". So after having to carry items out the door and make return trips because the shopping carts won't fit outside the door- I called four other Ross locations in California to see if they had the same corporate rule. It was confirmed at all locations - No they do not. One location told me the history of that but said it was changed back several years ago and hasn't been a standard at any location. read more

Me and my girlfriend are waiting in line at 11pm to check out and we turn our back for for 5 seconds and one of your employees cuts us off to make a purchase not even waiting in line. My all-time favorite Ross. The security guy is always super nice when you walk in. Plus great deals!! Got shorts for $10 a pair which is nice. Also good deals on makeup and hair products. Why would they conduct a staff meeting in the middle of the front entry of the store????! Blocking access to the store for the customers. This is not good policy. I had to squeeze through the middle of this circle of staff and listen to this meeting as I waited in line. read more
