This is by far the worst Ross I've visited. The customer service was extremely poor, and several employees were unprofessional and disengaged. The manager struggled to clearly explain pricing or basic totals, turning a simple checkout into a frustrating experience. The store itself felt disorganized, unsanitary, and uncomfortable. This has got to be the hands down worst Ross in the entire metroplex if not the nation! And about 80% of that is due to their service... It is a trash can the place is gross it seems sticky everywhere you go and their stuff is dirty... Multiple pictures were either stuffed up or smeared with some type of greasy substance. I used to shop at this Ross regularly several years ago and it was not dirty like this and the people were not jerks... There customer service, if you could call it that is abhorrent... The staff is awful they act like prison guards instead of retail sales clerks. I mean seriously I would not be surprised if many of their employees had worked in the prison system before. I love a great bargain so here I am in Ross combing through the racks looking for something to wear to an event. So the hunt begins . . . There are going to be items out of place, however that's more due to the customers picking up items and just leaving them anywhere they decide to drop them. So yes, that small you found in the large and the 3XL you found in the small isn't the staff, it's the customers. So please be mindful of this. On my most recent visit it seems like they are trying to offer a lot of items in a small cramped space. Trying to get down the dress section with a cart is a tight situation and if anyone else is already in the aisle you have to wait your turn to get down the aisle. Also there seems to be limited items in certain sizes at this location (big girls like cute clothes too!). Surprisingly the dressing room was clean, it smelled like there was some air freshener being pumped back there which was pleasant, and the lady working the area was friendly (she wasn't rude about me not wanting all the items I tried on). We need help on them check out lanes!!! It seem like it doesn't matter what time you come, there is never enough staff to keep the lane down (but this seems to be at all the locations I go to). Don't you dare want to look at jewelry cause it's a task to get someone to help you as they are manning a check out and it seems like they are trying to hurry hu along to get back to checking folks out. If you have the patience, this is for you - beware that on weekends, school holidays and during certain hours, there are screaming kids and kids running around. This was by far one of the better Ross I have been to. The store is actually clean and somewhat organized, and stuff isn't just shoved on the racks and packed to capacity. They have a good selection as well for all different sizes. Biggest complaint was the fitting rooms - they were dirty. I didn't feel comfortable even setting my things down on the bench or taking my shoes off. The ground was dirty and the hooks on the wall were busted in almost all the fitting rooms making it impossible to hang up stuff to try it on. The staff was kind and check out was quick and easy. The selection here is ok, but unless you go right when they open be prepared to wait for at least 45 minutes in line. Also, be careful if you ever go at night. It can be very dangerous with the homeless people outside shouting at you, and asking for money. I don't mind helping someone in need, but there is no need to be rude about it??? The workers are definitely overworked, and you can tell they hate their job. Don't expect anyone to be in a cheery mood, besides the loss prevention that greets you at the door. The service here sucks. I've notice this to be an occurring theme in this area. Without going into specifics our country is taking a turn for the worst. Anyway prayers up. First off I shop at this location quite often and I have never experienced anything like this personally but today was the day. So I go into the store looking for a fanny pack and other workout gear I grab a Nike nap sack, Nike weight lifting belt and the Nike fanny pack. As I approach the massive line I get impatient as I have other shopping to do in the plaza, so I ask the Hispanic associate if I can just put my things on hold in front of the store while I get some quicker shopping done. She replies yeah but the line is actually going to be long all day it's senior discount day, which was fine so I put everything in the sack and put it on the front rack. I go to Target and one more store. When I come back to stand in the still longest line ever I'm greater at the door by security telling me I'm not allowed back in the store because since I was putting items into the Nike nap sack I was considered stealing. Even though I took nothing out of the store. Even though I even told the associate that I was coming back to purchase the items. Talk about offended. First off if I'm going to steal/which I would never / I'm going to steal from a quality store not a thrift store. So I asked to talk to the manager of course they couldn't get a hold of one. So then I asked for the corporate number of course they didn't know that piece of information either. I was actually getting so angry that I was being accused of such a crime in front of all those people. The nerve. I've shopped here for years and have never been treated so poorly in my life. I called corporate finally and just left. I will be boycotting Ross for the rest of my life and probably will be seeking legal counsel if I do not get an apology from the store manger soon. Ross I'm sure you're not going to miss my hard earned money but you just don't treat people that way. My character was assassinated and that will not be tolerated. There isn't a sign outside the door telling you you can't bring in a drink or food but once you walk in, security stops you and tells you you can't have a drink in-store. ALL Rosses are different. They are all great for inexpensive gift and household items. Some are better than others for clothes, shoes, and undies. This one is "ok" for clothes, shoes, & undies. When shopping for clothes at ANY Ross, always come on a day when you have time to rummage through the junk. Whew! That does take some effort. Shopping for a snazzy Gift item is always easy here (unless you are buying a clothing item). The manager and I had words because I told her the loss prevention literally followed me around the store and was too close for comfort at many times and at one point I pushed a cart out of the aisle in my way and moved it to him and asked him to take it and he turned it around and pushed it at me. He was so rude. I moved everything out of the cart and put it at the front and the manager lady snapped at me saying that I never buy anything every time I come. This place is a third store junk yard! Old clothes, dirty clothes. The dresses are something off of handmaid tale.

It's like this location DOESN'T want your money. I am a habitual Ross/ Marshall's/ TJ girl, so I know what to expect but enough is enough. There is no reason why the locations on I-30 and Irving are astonishingly cleaner, organized, and executed than this one. Items (in bulk) are mislabeled. When you walk in it feels like you're in the middle of an overnight turnaround of the store. Boxes everywhere. Hangers. Cramped aisles. Then, no matter how long you wait in line, even when a person walks in for a return they serve them instead. But not only in the line dedicated for returns, I'm talking about the line designated for regular cashiers only. What gives? I wasted my time in line just for people to come up and get served because they had a return while other people just hung out in the front. Enough is enough. I'd rather use my gas up and visit the other locations before I came here again. This location used to at least be convenient but it's not even that anymore. On 9/18/19 Ross Employees let someone use my stolen credit card to buy hundreds of dollars of merchandise. They are not following proper register protocol by cross referencing a customers identification card with the credit card given for the transaction. read more

What can I say? It's a Ross. I'm pretty sure they're the same everywhere. I walk into this one and I'm immediately transported back to childhood, walking with my parents into the Ross I grew up near, gleefully rummaging through toy aisles while they looked at clothes or occasionally the odd appliance. Rummage is a good word for what you have to do here. Nothing is where it's supposed to be. The rack marked "Blazers" has pants. The rack marked "Pants" has athletic tops. And maybe some pants. Nothing is actually sorted by size (you'll find XL in the small, and vice versa). This makes for a kind of fascinating treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find or where you'll find it. So don't go to Ross (any Ross, not just this one) with something specific in mind, or with the intent to get in and out quickly with what you're looking for. Go to Ross on a lazy weekend afternoon when you're in need of a new party dress or a pair of cheap shoes or a pillow with an inspirational quote embroidered on it (is anybody ever in need of those?) and be prepared to leave with stuff you never knew you wanted. read more

This store was a mess. I went in on Thursday afternoon. It was extremely busy as if were a Saturday afternoon. The merchandise was not sorted at all. I found men's clothes in women's aisles and sizes in correct places. It appeared as if the store had not conducted inventory maintenance in weeks. When I did find items I liked, I went to the fitting room. The manager on duty was the one who counted my items, but did not Greet me, and did not have a pleasant attitude. I tried on my items and I wanted to purchase three. After further inspection, one of the dresses I liked had dirt stains all over the Bottom as if it had been dragged on the ground. I went to check out and the cashier was very polite and pleasant. She was the only one with a friendly and approachable attitude. I would make the drive to other stores than this one. read more

I was not a fan of this store. The shelves were pretty empty. The prices were not overly impressive on a lot of the items. They were very understaffed which is completely not the staff's fault. The checkout line took more than 20 minutes to get through, and the line was over 40 customers deep. Some of the merchandise was broken beyond functioning, but I really just wanted them as decorations. The manager was very slighted to even be requested to be talked to and offered 10% off of a light that had the switch smashed inside of the lamp, so it could never be used. She said, "I can do 10% off, and you can take it, or we'll just throw it away. It makes no difference to me." The rudeness that I felt far outweighed the potential bargains to be found here, and I probably will not be going back to this store anytime soon. read more

I typically love Ross stores, I have been able to find great deals on quality products at many of their locations. This location, however is not one of their better locations. I have noticed that the quality of the merchandise and the types of merchandise does vary significantly from store to store. This is partly just the nature of the store. I would compare Ross stores to Marshalls, a lesser version of TJ Maxx, but an upgrade from Big Lots. They carry clothing, home goods, furniture, jewelry, luggage, and more. Pros: The parking is easy in this location with a large semi private lot. If you are willing to dig you can find great deals. I bought a stainless steel trashcan for my bathroom here for $4.99. I saw the same one at target for $19.99. I also bought my doormat for $5.99 here, seeing it for about $20 other places. Cons: This location is chaos on a multitude of levels. Every time I have been there has been at least 15 but usually 20 people in line. The line does not move quickly. The racks are not organized and I have regularly seen so much merchandise on the floor of an aisle that it is not possible to walk down the aisle. Unless you are interested in going through every rack with every size mixed together you will only find something based on luck. Other Ross locations organize by item type and size so it is much easier to work your way through the store. Finally the building seems very old and it just seems inherently dirty or dusty. Overall don't give up on Ross, maybe just this location. read more

Brace yourself ladies and gents - this Ross is not for the faint of heart. Ashleigh had it right when she described this place as the clothing store alternative of McDonalds playplace. This Ross is CRAWLING with brats on a rampage climbing under racks, playing tag, or simply screaming bloody murder while the parents either try to shove their way past you or gaze at you with a sullen distant look. I've been to many Ross's in my life and my expectations aren't too high. Most of them are trashed beyond belief and have rude or lazy workers. This store receives in my book a -1 star based on the customer base of this store and also for the horrible-ness of the store itself. Complaints about the store itself: This one has beefed up security who alternate from glaring at you like you just stole the crown jewels to flirting with the cutest girl running the register. I've given up looking at most of their women's clothing based on the fact that I can reach/see the clothes because they have these HUGE 2 tier clothing racks that are overstuffed with clothing and my poor 5'1" self cant get to the top shelf (yes, im serious) All their aisles are tiny and narrow. The width of the aisle is slightly wider than one of their little shopping carts. Imagine getting stuck in an aisle like that with screaming wild kiddies..... Their staff is slow and so unfriendly to the point of near hostility. I worked at the Ross by my house during the holidays and I know that Ross surprisingly enough puts alot of care into fast, friendly, and efficient customer service. This is completely lacking here. As I walked into the store, I wasnt even greeted. Just glared at from security. Complaints about their clientele: Its horrifying.The people who shop here have absolutely no manners, class, or dignity. I think i've seen people behave better at thrift stores and flea markets than this place. I was looking for a doggie bed for my puppy and I hear this girl screaming "RIRI! RIRI!" from the fitting room over to I guess RiRi who seemed to be over in the men's department (yes folks that is all the way across the store.) and then she came charging out of the fitting room over to the men's department still screaming for them to come look at the outfit in the fitting room. WTF????? I eventually made it over to shoes but seemed like RiRi and crew followed cause she was back screaming to come look at these pretty shoes and why does Ross only sell F'ing small sizes and whether RiRi would love this shoe or that. God I felt bad for whoever RiRi was. Please, dont even get me started on all the people who cant even say excuse me but just push themselves through or those who wear clouds of j.Low (not J.Lo) perfume, or those that forgo deodorant altogether. I am not at all surprised by the reviews of this place. Look, I'm all about bargain shopping. In fact, I'm a huge fan of Marshalls, Target, TJ Maxx and yes, even Ross...except for this one. This Ross is cluttered with so many things that you can't even push your basket down the isle. The items were all over the floor there were shoes in the home goods section the clothes weren't separated by size I felt like I was at a flea market looking at previously owed items.
