I was completely thrown off by the fact that a Ross at such a great location would be this lacking. I went into find the simplest thing. A warm sweatsuit to wear for the time being because Florida is having a week of cold and I'm not prepared. I fully expected this store to be super nice as far as inventory goes, because of its location, but was surprised to barely be able to find anything. This is hands down THE WORST Ross I've ever been to. They had maybe one item in only one size so if I found a sweatshirt, it would only be available in XXL and only 1 in the whole store. If I found sweatpants, they would be in some weird horrific color like brownish purple (YES THATS THE ONLY WAY I CAN DESCRIBE THE COLOR) and of course there was no color sweatshirt that looked good with them. This Ross is also smaller on the inside and everything looked like trash with nappy balls on some items, rips in others. Some items were dirty or stained and they barely had a clearance section. No need to return here, its as if this Ross gets the last of the inventory after all the other stores are stocked. read more

I have had the opportunity to buy in different Ross stores and I always recommend it, today I went to the Davie location at Tower shops they have a great variety of merchandise, great prices, and atmosphere. Obviously, there are so many things that sometimes one spends hours reviewing something that suits one's taste, but I do it relaxed and I always leave satisfied. I like shopping for bargains, so I decided to check out their luggage section at this Ross. The store seems a bit disorganized and it does not have the neat feel that a Marshall's or TJ Maxx has, but sometimes you can find something here that you can't find over there. They have a good variety of brands like Samsonite, TravelPro and others. They also have a good selection of sports bags. Overall it was a quick in and out visit, but I was happy with their inventory and selection of items. read more

Hello, I was in the store on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. looking for tea party dresses. If I went to this Ross, the selection would be more comprehensive than the Ross in my neighborhood. I did find a few outfits, bras, and panties for my granddaughter. I got to packs because the price was awesome: $6.99 per pack. The store was beyond crowded. I got in the checkout line by the dressing room area. Honestly, the ladies working on Saturday did a great job. I think there were four cashiers, and they were rocking and rolling. I was in the line for less than ten minutes. The cashiers maintained their composure and were smiling throughout the process. Job well done ladies. read more

This is one of the biggest Ross Dress for leas I have been to. And any all other Ross I have been to is pretty messy. I can see the reason why though. It is incredibly busy, I wondered if they were giving stuff for free! I didn't see any sales associates on the floor, but they did have a lot of cashiers. They are so fast. You feel lime your at Aldi, you're not even done putting your credit card away and picking up your bags off the counter when the next costumer is right there putting stuff on the counter. I guess they have to keep on moving the line. Located in a very shopping plaza with lots of other stores like TJ Maxx, Home Depot, Party City, Michael's and Ulta, it makes for a really convenient location indeed. read more

I love finding clothes at Ross as there are many unique shorts and shirts here that are sold for cheap. It really depends on the warehouse shipment that comes in, but there are unique items that can be found if you look hard enough. The shorts and shirts range from $8-25 and it is worth the price as you can find some higher end brands being sold here. I have bought Nike, Polo, and Adidas from here. Overall, this is definitely worth checking out if you have time to shop for an hour or two. read more

I must be nuts of even considering coming in on a Saturday afternoon, but since I just had a big lunch with my wife and her cousin, we need to take a walk and get all that food digested. There is a Ross store close to where we live so we never came here before. Somehow it seemed this store is a lot bigger than the one near our house. But unfortunately, it's pretty much the same store between both stores. The store has a decent size with a lot of items, however, they were not displayed in an organized fashion which made it difficult to shop between isles. Also, as many shoppers were digging through the clothes from the racks and shelves, they just left the items on the floors and the store staff did not seems to be in a hurry to pick them up. Also, throughout the store, it felt a little dark as it lacks bright lighting. Even if I was able to find something in the dark, I just don't want to wait in the long time at the check out. I just don't know why the store wouldn't just hire one a two cashiers to make the line move quicker. I think for me to go through the same pains and sufferings, I rather to do it in the store near my house. read more

This location is really close to the office. There have been times when I come during lunch, see something I like, hide it in another department (shhhhh), and then come back after work to stand in line and pay. That alone tells you how understaffed they are and how little they get to clean and re-organize on any given shift. Most of the associates are manning the registers and they're fairly quick. When I come to shop here, I seldom leave empty-handed. They have a good assortment of products, clothes, shoes and housewares. The fitting room could use revamping--in fact--the whole layout of the store would probably be more welcoming if the shoes wouldn't be the first area when you walk in the store. I mean, I love shoes, but honestly, that's one of the messiest areas in this particular store and it would be a better fit to place the shoes in the back. Besides that, the traffic in and out of this shopping plaza gets pretty crazy late afternoons and on weekends and finding a parking space can be very challenging. All that said, the associates and the security people are nice and hardworking, so, being that the merchandise and prices compete well with other discount stores, I don't mind coming here. read more

Stopped in this past weekend and found a cute lunch bag and dress to wear to work. The store was organized well, plenty of sizes and stylish tops to pair with my work slacks too. I've been to Ross back home, came here to get some nice clothes for a guys night out. It's a great store with an average selection of clothing, household goods and other things you wouldn't know you need quite like a Marshall's. This place is situated in the growing home Depot Plaza in Davie right next to TJ Maxx and Bath & Body Works. This place is usually very busy, hectic and not very organized. They have a lot options and I would honestly say is the cheaper of the Marshall's triad. What I like most about this place is their LARGE dress section. They have about 4 aisles of dresses- much greater than the half rack at TJ Maxx. So if youre looking for any type of dress this is the place to go for a good price. read more

I am a huge Ross Fan. However, they vary by location. The best location in my opinion is right off of Miramar Parkway. There you can usually find things where they belong, the lines are not crazy, and the quality of the merchandise seems to be better. The good news is, I did not spend money! LoL - the bad news is I was one day past the 30 day return so I could not get my money back but I did get store credit even with the receipt. I love getting close for a bargain. But just like with any Ross you definitely itely have to dig and search for what you want. I did enjoy the show section. They had alot of variety in that department. However, to me it seemed like there wasn't mm the same variety with the clothes. I just felt like I was seeing the same style over and over. The dressing rooms weren't too bad and we're pretty clean. The lines were pretty long and that's probably the one complaint I have about this store. They need more people at the registers or need to develop a better system to make the check out process faster. I'm a grown woman and I am 14 weeks pregnant. I walked into this place wanting to use the restroom quickly and then shop but they wouldn't allow me in because I had a drink in my hand. I told the man I was pregnant and I have low blood sugar and he proceeded to just say "you're not due this year right?" And I said "what?" He says "You're not having the baby this year right? Ok then "wow . That was rude and inconsiderate . I understand they don't allow food or drinks, but I had to use the restroom as well and I received no compassion. No I wasn't going to go into the restroom with my drink but it's not like I'm a child who can't hold a drink. Be a little more sensitive next time please. Then I conveniently went next door to TJ MAXX where they allowed me in but their women's restroom was out of order and I had to hurry and go to the mens room. Amazing. I want to be clear that I understand this man was doing his job, but his rude unnecessary comment is what infuriated me. read more

Halloween is quickly approaching and I have no pieces of my Prince costume. What to do? It is too late to order anything and all I would get at Halloween stores is scraps. Strike one for me being a procrastinator. My first good thought comes into my head. Goodwill store, eureka! Sadly, everything in the men's section is too big or not outlandish enough to fit the Prince persona. Strike two. Damn the last minute costume shopping. Finally, two brilliant ideas popped into my mind. The first, Ross dress for less popped into my head. I had a good feeling about this store. Second, Prince wore women sizes, right? Now I have the women's area to scour and the sizes will probably fit my lean build better. I walk in the store go to the men's area and immediately find purple Levi's510 skinny purple jeans. Thank you, Levi's for realizing emo kids needs jeans too. I go to tey them on and ,wow, they were damn snug. My ass is looking flawless in them. Ladies lookout. Now for the jacket. Again, I find nothing in men's section. I start to scour the women jackets. After a few minutes of tearing it up in that area, I find a purple jacket and skirt combo. It is a good fit and goes nicely with the pants. This place was heaven sent. I go to checkout and the cashier asks, "The skirt is this for you"?. I reply, "it is for my special weekend outings *wink, wink*." In addition to my costume pieces, I got a $12 long sleeve (with a free tie) and a black t-shirt for $6. What a steal, especially the tie. New slogan: Ross Dress for Free. Well not really unless you are like me and run around town with just a tie on. I love the prices at Ross and it's usually my first stop to see if they have certain items (especially dog toys and bedding for my service dog). However, Ross is NOT very handicapped friendly. You can't take a cart to your car. Door security refuses assist or to watch a cart so you can bring your car to the front door. I always have to severely limit my purchases unless I can bring someone with me besides my service dog. So, in the long run, I suppose I would spend more money if there were a few accomodations available. read more

Didn't expect to find such an AMAZING plus size section, but it definitely rivals the neighboring Torrid and Lane Bryant. A little messy for the average shopper, but I don't mind a little dig. Hi, I was in this store today,Davie Fl. 33328 and I found a purple blouse that was marked down that I really liked. I noticed that the blouse had some stains on the front. Then I also saw that it had been worn and returned and placed back on the rack with deodorant stains, YYYUUUUUUUUck. I was not going to let that deter me to ask if I can get it at a lower price, because I was willing to wash it when I got home. I was told no and they put the blouse back on the rack to go back out to the floor. Is ROSS that money hungry with 12.87 BILLION in revenue. Well I had about $140.00 of other things to buy, but I just left them in the cart and walked out. I will not accept the fact that dirty used clothes are put back on the racks. Today I left very insecure and not protected in this Ross. As I'm in the cashier paying for my stuff, there's a white lady walking out with a cart full of merchandise. The cart didn't made it through because of the pole but as she's trying to get the cart out, a white car pulled up, the manager it's looking confused, the security lady they have their stood there confused as well then walked up to her and told he she couldn't get out because of the pole in the car. Then you see the white lady rushing out grabbing everything she had in the car, while everyone that was waiting to pay including me said that she's stealing, she has something she didn't pay etc. Everything happened so fast but the fact of the matter that EVERYONE that worked there at that moment (security, cashier, manager) didn't do anything to stop this, was so shameful. The funny thing is that after the lady left, the security was saying, was she stealing? I was like, WOW. I feel with this experience, anyone can walk there and rub the cashiers or merchandise and nobody would do anything to stop it. So disappointed for this experience. read more
