Two cashiers working 9/18/24 around 7:30pm, moving super slow skipping people in the line and just having an upset day and taking it out on others. They should be talked to just had a cart full of stuff and just decided to leave it because they skipped me over someone being in the wrong side of the line area. I came here to check out the selection of rugs. I found a stain resistant rug from Cambridge collection that is 7x10 and it has a scroll design. I'm glad I found it because this is exactly what I was looking for. The only problem is that it's a very light color but it will match my living room. I was able to search this brand of rug which in the store and found it for triple what I paid at Koll's and bed bath. I also found a bunch of bargain selection for my kids that I know they will love. I found a pair of frozen shoes for my daughter for only $9.99 (unbelievable). The store seems to be organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The cashier helped me and carried my rug all the way to the front where the register is then I paid for it. It's a newer construction and that's probably why it's pretty clean in there. I will return here to do some more shopping as I am a happy camper The place had great parking right in front. I was able to bring my car around and the cashier helped me put the rug in my car which was awesome because a lot of back problems. read more

And the line moved fast so it was always pretty short. There is a good selection of stuff in case you're looking for something but you're not really sure what you're looking for. Came to Ross at 9:00pm not only was the store a disaster but they also only had 1 person on the register while there was a long line of people trying to pay the other only other guy behind the register kept putting clothes in hangers. I went here with my bf because he needed a hat for work. The hat had the price tagged but once we went to purchase it the tagged came off and the "manager" said she has rung it before and said it was $19.99 even though the original tag from its company said $12.99. Little did she know I saw the fallen tagged in the basket. The tagged said $12.99 plus it was inside the basket that I bought and refused to sell it to us. She said the tagged didn't match the hat lmfao. She just didn't want to admit that she sounded stupid by making up a price in her head. Like let the man get his hat. Either way the Ross was disorganized and for sure not the best customer service. This "manager" needs training. It does not look like she's competent for the position. Finally got around to checking out this Ross. Its conveniently located at 120th & Crenshaw and close to the 105 freeway. It's huge! Still new, wide and organized. Staff is friendly and security greets you in & out, but unlike the others, they do keep a watchful eye & from observation ready to assist you, if you need it. The other Ross's (excluding Brentwood), they usually chatting up w/the other coworkers- Downtown LA being the worst. I agree with the selection being large, there's something for everyone. Parking lot's the size of nearby airport too. Much better than the one in Ocean Gate shopping center. read more

3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up since I've been waiting for this location to open. About 6 months ago, a coming soon sign has been posted. As the months went along, the inside of the store slowly came into fruition. Grand opening took place this past Saturday. Inside layout is similar to every other Ross, with shoes separated into sizes. The whole store decor included the "Ross blue" right down to the staffs' shirts as well. Everything was well stocked and neatly organized. It even has the "new store" smell, similar to that of a "new car" smell. Surprisingly not as busy as some other Ross locations, but probably because word isn't out yet about this location. One of the reasons why I like this particular Ross is its location, which is right next to Target and across the street from 24 Hour Fitness. Ample parking with easy in/out access. read more

Went shortly after opening on a Sunday. The place was already chaotic & the staff confused. The range of merchandise was limited, considering the large size of the store. Except for the young lady working the fitting room, they all seemed lost. I needed a certain color shoe for my new job, so I felt I had better suffer through the line CRAWLING to the one register open. It was crawling because a customer had an issue & the cashier had no idea what she was doing. She did call for help & it didn't seem to be what she needed. I was on line for over 10 minutes & she was working on the same transaction the entire time. I hope you notice I said "customer" because someone who seemed to be a supervisor opened another register -- ostensibly to help, although, as I say, the line crawled anyway. As she completed each sale, she barked, "Next purchase!" And that is how they view the people giving them money for merchandise & keep them employed -- they are just transactions. There is no compelling urge to be of service, to help, to appreciate the customer. I have been a customer service manager for decades & if one of my staff had addressed our customers like that, I would immediately pull her aside & correct her: "They're not 'purchases', they are valued 'customers'. And don't shout because they're standing right there. And smile. And say thank you. Or leave." I will absolutely NOT be going back. read more
