Blocked for stating store practices on social media

This store does not care about collectors of items they sell, literally before opening the store a lot of customers requested items be limited to one per customer on their social platforms before showing up in person at the stores. Needles to say they deleted all those comments by the person managing their social networks. As they opened the store, by all the comments on the picture of the item that was promoted (Funko Pop Battle Deku) they literally sold the limited stock they had to one single person, knowing that the line that had formed outside the store was there for that same item, some waiting over an hour before the store opened. Long story short I did not show up to the store, as I figured they wouldn't care enough to limit a sought after collectible, I did however comment on their social media page that they were deleting comments previously left requesting them to limit purchases to 1 per person. Apparently that was enough bad mouthing they decided to block me and now I won't be notified of future releases at this location for bringing light to their store practices. Take your hard earn money to another location that actually welcomes customer input to better serve its community.

I used to know someone who was scared to go into Hot Topic cuz it was "scary". Chris D would testify that it's gone way soft with all their Hello Kittyfied sh*t. I LOVE IT! I can find a Sookie Merlottes T, a Skinny Puppy T, Bazinga lanyard and goth HK necklace all in the same place. They had a great Black Friday sale where all Ts were only $10!!! And there is not a Hot Topic at Del Amo Mall, like i assumed, so this is the closest one. And actually i prefer South Bay Galleria over Del Amo for Black Friday as i think it's less cragee.

    Vinyl Toys in stock!

This place offers great pop-culture merch, band shirts, a small selection of body jewelry, Vinyl Toys, Vinyl Records,CDs and random junk targeting fandoms (Bronies, Whovians, TMNT, Star Trek, Star Wars fans, etc.). They will sell anything that caters to current trends, but if you're looking for anything authentic, that isn't mass-produced, contrived, or pleather, you probably won't find it here. The service is generally pretty poor, but at least the staff are fun to look at. Overall interesting, but no substance.

This is more of a retro vintage store and what makes this place different is that they don't just collect donations, the owner actually hits the road sometimes and brings back really cool finds from other areas. There are a ton of really stylish, funky, colorful artsy pieces to bring flair to your life or you! There are tons of goodies to help you communicate your vibe! I love stepping into the store getting lost in the retro gems mixed with the nostalgic inner child funtastic finds! They also had some sunny yard artwork outside! I can't wait to go back!

Unfortunately, the checkout experience left me feeling disappointed. A couple prices being adjusted on the spot is understandable, but having tags removed and being quoted significantly higher prices felt uncomfortable and unexpected. One used purse was priced close to (or above) what I could purchase it for new at a regular retail store, and it wasn't a vintage item. It genuinely hurt to leave the items behind because I loved what I found. I just couldn't move forward with pricing that felt inconsistent. I hope the shop can work toward more transparent pricing, as it really is a lovely space with so much potential.

Such light, upbeat energy. She will see what you are holding in your hand (or wearing) and pick out with some amazing memory of every thing in her massive amount of shelves/rods/everywhere, and it's 90% likely to be fab + Stars - Cute and trendy but not too pricey. Strikes a good price point between M Frederic ($!) and somewhere like Forever 21. What that gets you is better quality but not made in Italy (as if M Frederic had that either lol). Cute, hip, and also some classics. + Stars - Great Location for after-lunch walk and shop. Riv Village, need I say more. - Stars - There are some items that might be the unique taste of who knows whom, but frankly, that crochet/fishnet/sequin look should stay in Stevie Nicks' closet and not still be sold. I suggest you browse, but that you definitely have Amy help you pick out things, as she will find your taste faster than you will!

And thanks for gift-wrapping the "baseball" cap I bought for myself, such a sweet thing to do. Great customer service is the reason I like to patronize my local businesses. When I walk in, they know me by name. And over time, they also know which new products I'll be interested in seeing. I bought a snazzy, white & yellow Peter Grimm cap, just right for summer at the beach. They also carry Panama Jack caps, so I'm sure I'll be adding to my collection of those. Gotta keep the scorching sun off my nose! The inventory at this very cute shop is beach-y cool....appropriate for a place located a couple short blocks from the ocean. In addition to hats, they carry all kinds of clothes for men & women. I didn't have time to explore the clothing racks this time around, but that day will come for sure. Is it summer yet? My toes are screaming to hit the warm sand. LA, I love you.

Thus she can stop into any close Goodwill location, donate, and then stop into the adjoining thrift retail store to do a little shopping. That's exactly what we did on a Saturday afternoon when we were in Redondo Beach for brunch. Dropping off the clothes was simple and manual. There is a QR code to scan, to automatically generate a tax receipt for the donation. Unfortunately, the first step of creating an account via an email never worked, so gave up to try again later. Nevertheless, it was a good stop, where she bought a dress for herself and one for her mom. The store was well staffed with helpful associates. I usually peruse the used records, books, and toy section...not a great selection at this store, but probably a good thing for me personally, since I don't really have the space.

They did have an assortment of items; seasonal Halloween items, clothes, some toys, decor, books, etc and even rugs! But very limited. I see people donating all the time but there's not much in here. The peace I guess is too small to house everything. Maybe they only select a handful of goods and dump the rest. The cashier up front is not friendly. I politely asked a quick question and she said two words with a stank face. She looked annoyed and tired. No hello, or welcome, or sorry, or any acknowledgment whatsoever. She abruptly ended the conversation and I walked away. Place needs better customer service so not to scare off potential buyers. I suggest management to properly train these workers. A bunch of females in the back (I guess the sorting area) behind a big door were just laughing it up and talking so loud I could barely hear myself think. They weren't working. They just kept gossiping and talking out loud to the point you can hear it from across the other room as I walked away. It was difficult look through the items because they were cackling so loudly. 10/12/25
