The manager John Barrel Joliet Ross on Larking is a horrible person he treats his employees horrible I had to experience today how he was yelling at one of the employees. One of the cashiers today needed help because the line was starting to get big, John didn't want to help or let any of the employees help her with the line Hopefully, this message goes to the corporate so they can do something about John All the cashiers are nice Cynthia is one the best cashiers she seems to be a really hard worker as well as Andrea, Vanesa, Bianca, and Sabrina perfect team especially Orville the manager who treats the employees well read more

Came to visit, the store was ok but the management needs a look through, i took his name down as i noticed him being completely rude to an elderly customer and later an employee. Made it like such a service to lower down a rug for the poor woman... name is john. read more

Waited in line to complete my transaction, took about 10 minutes. Got up to the cashier and paid with cash, the cashier didn't have the right about of change in the drawer. Cashier was pleasant and greeted us but was eating at the register. Cashier then called for manager Brenda over the intercom, Brenda was nowhere to be seen. Waited an additional 10 minutes and then asked cashier to call for her again and she was still nowhere to be seen. Cashier then had to go physical retrieve Brenda from wherever she was. Brenda did not even apologize to us and no service recovery was done. Brenda is not too good at her job. Thank you! read more

This location is a wreck. Everything is out of place or merchandise is on the floors. To top it off, the line wraps around the jewelry counter because they have 1 cashier and another that's more concerned with putting away hangers than getting customers out the doors. The store is a mess and it's crowded, but her concern is hangers. Don't shop this location unless you have time to waste. read more

Not my favorite location the cashiers seem to have a bit of an attitude and stuff is everywhere

I pulled up to the store at about 9:30pm and keep in mind that the store doesn't close till 10 PM. I pulled up next to the window to check the times and then I went to park my car. As I was walking to the door I saw the cashier walking away from the door and when I got close to the door I realize that she had locked it. I understand why food places would close early if it's not busy but this is a store and it should be kept open until closing time. I was not going to come in and spend an hour looking around I was just coming in to buy a charger, just a quick in and out. That is some petty stuff. the store is always well kept enough, but everytime i make it to the check out theres always a cashier with an attitude. Unprovoked rude blank stares after a simple question like "what was my total again?" ruins the experience and baffles me that someone that works for the public can be so unlikable. i worked at another location and now understand what all the chatter about this location was all about. read more

They always give you a hard time when returning things. But I guess the store itself isn't so bad. I always go back. But the employees are not the nicest. read more

The store is nice enough, after all it is a Ross store so you can't expect to walk into a Nordstrom. The problem is there are no cashiers. I went there on a Tuesday at 1:30 in the afternoon with a return and there were 11 people in the checkout line and one cashier. When I asked her if there was a separate line for an exchange she says "nope you have to get in line". WTF! Obviously I walked out. Get some help. read more

I went into Ross out of curiosity because it's new and I was just browsing around, I was surprised to see they had a lot of salon shampoo and conditioners for a low price and I was super happy about that so i grabbed a bunch. I was just looking around at the other items they had and I saw housewares (which are my favorite thing to shop for) and to my surprise I found a nice knife set and a set of 10 glasses for a good price. I was happy until my trip ended and went to the checkout. The cashier was nice however not very friendly and talked a lot to their co-workers, I had 2 bags of the hair products and obviously a big box for the 10 glasses and a knife set box. To my surprise I couldn't exit the store because of the carts with the large pole on it. I had never seen this before and didn't actually know what it was for. So I stop at the exit dumbfounded because i'm wondering how I am going to carry all of this out to my car. I loudly said "I can't take this out of the store?" I would've thought someone (the cashier or the 2 other employees that were right by the register) would have helped me or told me that I couldn't bring the cart out of the store and either helped me or watched my purchases as I pulled my car up. As I struggled to carry everything in my arms, I asked for a bigger bag to put the big box in. The bag ripped on me and I had to gather all of the remaining plastic and bunch it together to be able to hold it. Not ONE person had asked if I needed help. I'm not sure how they sell some pieces of furniture and people walk out just carrying their items in their hands, It seems very inconvenient to me. I was very happy to find my hair products but I don't think I will buy anything else in the future. read more
