When you walk in, you're immediately dazzled by the beautiful decor, luxurious vibes and inviting atmosphere. You want to see everything. Whereas you might expect a luxury boutique to carry mostly tiny sizes, I was pleasantly surprised at their range of sizes, styles and prices. Not everything was super expensive, though there were very expensive pieces. Every corner is impeccably curated and filled with beautiful, thoughtful items. Laura of Pembroke is newly on my list of places to visit when I need a gift or want to buy something for myself (you know, for when you get in that mood of just wanting to buy something for yourself). I love that they are in Pinecrest and nestled near other wonderful spots. I bought a beautiful, glitzy necklace from the sale section that I cannot wait to wear. I'll be back!

We ordered a light for our dining room and pendants and a light for over the kitchen for our…read morekitchen. Jim, our salesman was very nice. The arrival for the light for over the kitchen table was delayed. No problem. Today we had it installed. There are some blemishes on the light diffuser (the round disc on the bottom). My electrician pointed them out and suggested that I call the store and they would replace it. I called House of Lights to let them know, expecting a nice conversation and a replacement. A man named Mark answered. I have NEVER been so rudely treated. After he basically said that he did not believe me, accusing me of not using Windex or a Magic Eraser, I assured him that I had done both and offered to send him pictures. After receiving them, he called me back and told me that in his 40 years in the business, he had never had a problem and then told me that it was probably due to my using the Magic Eraser or Windex! After I pushed, he said he would swap it for one on the floor (just the round disc) but I would have to bring it in and I had better do it sooner rather than later! We live 40 miles away. I have never been talked to so rudely ( my husband heard it all on speaker and can verify). Clearly in his 40 years, Mark has never learned anything about customer service. I would highly recommend avoiding this store at all costs. If anything goes wrong with your order (from the manufacturer!) there will be no relief and a very rude response.

I was pleased with our sales guy Bobby and also the manager with the super cool tattoos. Our family spent time sitting on different furniture sets and we were pleased with our final choice (not pictured). The snack section in the back was clutch. We were able to grab a quick bite and look around some more. Financing options were easy to understand. Delivery went really well. The movers were courteous and cleaned up behind themselves.

I wandered in because the displays are so cute, I wanted to see all the treasure inside. Every nook and corner is packed with funky, colorful one-of-a-kind furniture and home goods you won't find anywhere else. A lot of the items are hand crafted or hand painted. The vibe is playful, and just whimsical. The store has multiple rooms inside with different themes and colors. One of my favorite parts of the shop is their collection of teapots and tea sets. You can find them all over the store. They have so much personality! It's like each piece has its own little story. Definitely the kind of thing that would instantly become a conversation starter in your home. If you're looking to host a tea party, you must browse this collection. There's also a bit of funky furniture like foot stools and arm chairs that are so playful! If you're looking to add a pop of color to your living room this is the place for you. Lucky for me the flatware was located right at the door I entered. The employee who was nearby greeted me with a smile. And asked if she could help me. Of course she could since I never have been here. She showed me where to go and stayed around and answered a few questions I had as well. All in all I was happy to stop in. But this visit I didn't make a purchase. Maybe next visit. Because I'll for sure be back.

Jackleg work, simple fix, abjectly poor customer treatment…read more After buying thousands of dollars worth of Schonbek fixtures - a large center hall chandelier, two sconces, two ceiling domes, and two smaller bedroom chandeliers - from Cleveland Lighting, here is the response I got when I asked them to fix the problem shown in the attached pictures: "Unfortunately, we would have a service call fee of $95. As mentioned these are secured at the factory and I'm not sure how much of an adjustment can be made. I could have someone available this Thursday afternoon. Let me know if you wish to proceed." The sconce in the photos was installed improperly. It should have been repaired without hesitation without charge by the store. You can see from the photos the Cleveland Lighting rep's statement, "fixed at the factory," is an inaccurate cop out sent by someone who just did not give a crap. Asking for a service fee was inappropriate and indicative of the kind of people who run Cleveland Lighting. Find a different lighting store.

Avoid doing business at this store. This is a store that cares nothing about customer service…read more Having owned a store myself and being very conscious of customer service, I am appalled at the customer service at Cleveland Lighting. After ordering thousands of dollars of lights over a year ago, we found ONE lighting fixture that fit our needs better for our dining room in an another store. So, we asked to return a BRAND NEW, UNOPENED fixture in the box for a refund. They insisted on a 25% restocking fee. This is outrageous. This is just a way for them to make more money on their lighting fixtures for doing absolutely nothing. They could care less about building any customer good will for any future lighting purchases. They obviously care more about making a buck than pleasing their customers. Yes, it was stated there would be a restocking fee but seriously? 25% ?? You spend thousands on fixtures and there is no room for an exception at times? You can be sure that I will make sure that anyone that asks me about purchasing lighting fixtures I will tell them of the poor customer service and will steer them to another store. One that actually cares about their customers.
