I love the store I come daily honestly, if you look there's always something for you!

Very bad costumer service in mickinny store, not going back for sure ! I bought a 10 bottles of perfumes with different kind of staff after I got home there were 4 of them not wrapped with plastic and they not looking good. So I decided to return them back. Unfortunately the manager was not helpful, no smile no thankyou , even when I said thank you she didn't reply back. Her name is Morgan I think she decided not give me a good service. After one hour and a half and calling the costumer service, it end up they wanna check the camera ! Ok I don't mind do your procedure but please when you sell it , sell it with the way you want it to be return back to you. They refuse to take the item back that already sold that way( no plastic wrap)! and I wasn't treated in a respectful way at all. Even Iam a customer that I buy at least every two weeks. read more

They take forever at the register and service from the employees and manager are super bad.

I went to Ross, with my children, on my daughter's birthday, I finished shopping and went to the cashier. A very rude, cashier said to take out the hangers. As I removed the hangers she said things to me. I responded and she called the manager. I made a complaint and the manager defended the employee. I was leaving the store and the employee was waiting for me outside and followed me almost to my truck. When I called to file a complaint the manager said my 12 year old son was instigating. This is a problematic, violent employee and the manager cannot care less. I called corporate to file a complaint, never received a call back. If you shop here be sure to have something in your truck to protect your family from these hoodlums. read more

I bought 2 pairs of shoes for work. When my wife got home, I tried them both on, one pair fit, the other was wayyyy to tight around my feet. We attempted to return the pair that was too tight. We were told " these shoes have been worn " So either they are lying so they don't have to deal with the return process, or they sold me used shoes. Never ever ever going to Ross again. I am so disappointed in Ross. I have shopped and loved Ross stores for years. I found joy in seeking them out while on vacation to shop at. Today, while shopping at the McKinney Ross store, I needed to use the restroom. It was closed for maintenance. I was informed it had been closed for 3 weeks! I asked an associate where the nearest restroom was and was told to check Ulta or The Shoe Store. I am furious. How can a business stay open like that? People had bladder issues and still try on clothes? Not sanitary! Super inconvenient for people with small bladders and kids. I am disturbingly disappointed. Variety and organization for a Ross is somewhat decent. I did find a nice pair of shoes. My complaint with Ross and not just this one's, restrooms are horrible. I've walked into maybe one or two Ross with decent restrooms, but this one takes the cake with the worst restroom. As soon as you walk in all you smell is sewage, then I got to wash my hands and the water is literally dripping out under the sink onto the floor splashing onto my feet. read more

This one has gone so downhill it's not even funny. At least clothing wise. I always find okay things in the housewares. I use to go here to buy clothes but the quality and selection have been horrible for AT LEAST the past year. When you go to other Ross locations, you're blown away by how much different they are! Love Ross. I always find great deals. I do wish they would have more staff at checkout and less attitude in the dressing room.

If i could put no star I would. The lines are so long all the way to the back of the store. We came to do an exchange and had to wait in line for 45mins with one cashier working. Several employees were on the floor putting clothes away. We asked about the lines and a guy on staff told us the other cashier was on lunch and upon her return, the other staff on return to put clothes away while the lines were all the way to the back of the store. All the staff were fully aware of how visibly upset and frustrated were customer in lines but they didn't seem to care. I blame the poor leadership at this location. I'll start going to another location and not waste my time at this store. I had so much time waiting in line to write this review. They don't mind that customers waiting in long lines with kids. They might as well pull out chairs for us to sit and call out numbers. I had faster service at Ross down in Allen. They just need to close this store and start fresh. I went to this store to find a dress for my baby's shower. When I went to try on the dresses before I purchase them, the lady at the dressing room stated: "when you come out the dressing room hang the items up so I can count them." I was very insulted and affected that she thought I would steal. When I came back out the dressing room, she counted out loud to make sure all the dresses was there. Over the pass year I spent thousands of dollars with Ross. Everyone that comes in the store don't steal, I'm an Officer in the United States Army that receives a very healthy salary every two weeks. I don't have to steal! Needless to say, I want be returning to this store. read more

This is a fresh review. My wife just called me to let me know the horrible experience she just went through at this place. She walks in with my baby, finds a couple of things she wants to buy and on her way out after paying for the items, one of the ladies working at the counter accuses her of having stolen the shoes that my baby girl was wearing. She insisted that my wife took the tag out of the shoes and put the shoes on her. Whaat!!? Completely in shock and almost speechless my wife calmly proceeded to tell her that she has nothing to hide and asked her to check the cameras and observe how my little girl walked into the store with the same shoes they were now and without proof claiming that she has stolen. My wife also asked who has claimed to have seen her doing this since she didn't even walk through the kid's shoes area!!. The lady conveniently responded that it was the previous guard but now he was gone... At this point she told my wife that it would take approximately 1 hour to review the video. My wife told her she could stay for up to 10 minutes so they can check the video but that she has a dr's appointment and that she will not stay and waste one hour of her life to prove this lady wrong. She had claimed, without any foundation in fact, that she is a thief in front of everybody at the store, so needless to say my wife walked away. I must say she handled this a lot better than I would have if this had happened to me instead of her. Fortunately for them, they did not hold or arrest my wife, otherwise I would be suing them Dear Ross - We are honest people and do not take lightly being accused of being thieves. I, along with the shoes and my receipt from Amazon, will come back this afternoon to this place and demand to meet with the store manager so we can watch the video together, even if it costs me one hour or more of my day . I will then go to the regional manager and their managers if possible to explain the embarrassment my wife went through. These people need to learn how to treat customers with respect. I went to Ross on Friday about 10 p.m. They have the most unprofessional people working for them. I asked the white girl twice what time do they close, and she just walked past me like she didn't hear me. The little rude bitch they have at the register, walked off after she saw me waiting to be checked out. Also, the security guard told her over and over she had a customer but she continued to walk away. The white male manager, who was also looking at me crazy ended up checking me out. Hardly nothing on the shelves dirty un organize. What I can't stand is the people at the changing rooms they have to count every single clothing item belt jewelry etc . Why when they have the loss prevention things on the clothing that the employees have to take off ... Those people back at the dressing rooms need to be at the front checking people out . This location is dirty and empty. I thought this location was set to close given the selections were so scarce. The pregnant front end supervisor was extremely rude and did not greet anyone she came in contact with. What's worse is that I waited five minutes before anyone came to the front for me to purchase an item. I was on this side of town and decided to stop. Never again. read more
