if target really wants to resume, it's market share, it might start with some common sense. Contrary to the perception, self check out with limited available live checkers is a convenience in cost, saving for target, no benefit to the customer. If they're going to do this, they sure as heck should make sure that people that are forced to use self checkout to avoid long weights in their limited staff checkout lines don't have to waste an hour of time coming back because of hidden security tags that are not warned at the time to check out. It's been a long time since I've regularly shopped at target. I decided to give them a try this time. to add insult to injury, when you come back to have the security tags that were hidden everywhere removed, the customer service person explains to you that yeah if you make the mistake of using the self check out that we pretty much forced you to use if you don't want to waste a lot of time shopping at our store, you can expect this to happen. Target, you can expect this to happen. People like me will not come to your store if you do stupid stuff like this. Either provide enough staffing so that people don't have to use your crappy self checkout lines or make a better provision so we don't buy something and then have to come back wasting our time because you're too dumb or inconsiderate of your customers to make better arrangements. This store is an absolute abomination of a place to work, shop, and even walk in. Some of the few issues I've seen as both an employee and customer overtime are as follows: Piles of clothes laying on the floor everywhere and clothes that have been delivered recently are never on the floor due to short staffed employees and a lack of urgency in the Style receiving area. Inaccurate inventory system that will remain that way because lazy team members would rather chat and slowly stock to avoid doing as much work possible leading to sloppily stocked shelves, items being in wrong spots all over the store, and a consistently backed up department. Even lazier team leads and ETLs that would rather complain about how hard their personal lives are rather than jump in and lead/assist their team. A store director (Vernon "Chris" Weaver) that will slowly walk around the store and interrupt team members that are actually working to engage in meaningless rabble, demand his ETLs to make incredibly short staffed schedules, and then wonder why the store has been in the red the day he walked in. The guest service area where both guest service and fulfillment team members work has no air conditioning anywhere. The only possible way to getting cool air during hot days is to sit in the freezer. This obvious safety hazard has led and will continue to lead to incredibly hot and humid temperatures where team members have passed out before and been told to leave rather than seek appropriate medical help. There are numerous racists, sexists, physical/sexual abusers, and predators that work at this store that have made clear, inappropriate comments and actions in every manner possible that should warrant a termination however they are always almost swept under the rug. Extremely inconsistent policies across the store that leads an incredible lack of cohesion as a team and results in a depressing, straining work experience. This is just an awful store for both customers and employees. I strongly encourage you to explore better, and more than likely cheaper, options (HEB, Walmart, Kroger, etc) and just avoid this specific Target in general. There are too many superior options in the Mckinney area to be settling for this mess. read more

The store is always a mess and staff is under appreciated the team leaders do nothing but sit on their buts and gossip about their team. There's never a selection of items because everything is in shopping carts full of returns hiding in the back. They don't value their team they just care about sales so they get payed more. They write up team members they have problems with and let sexual harassment from team leaders pass with no consequence. DON'T WORK HERE OR SHOP HERE! For any of the young women considering applying I deeply suggest you don't because all you will be is harassed and none of the leaders will try to protect you at all if anything they will talk about you behind your back and laugh. read more

When I walked into this target on a Friday at around 19:50 or so the asset protection guy walked behind me. I am a Marine Corp veteran and do not like anyone walking closely behind me. (Besides the point but maybe other Devils can understand why I turned around) Decided to stare me down and when I asked him what's up he had the audacity to ask if I was going to be a problem in his store. I asked him if he owned the store and he called his buddy to alert them on the little radios they have. I literally just came in to get a belt because mine broke at work. All of the employees I spoke to while looking for the belt were great and they helped in a respectful manner with great customer service. I've never had a problem with any sort of asset protection at any establishment in my life! After checking out while being stared down by other employees at self checkout I asked to talk to the asset protection clown to show him my receipt. (Which was petty on my part but this dude needed to hear what I had to say) he said not to come back or he'll trespass me. dude I won't don't worry! No point of shopping here if you have less than 10 items as they rarely have anything besides self check out open. 99% chance you're waiting 10+ minutes in line to check out one item. Trying to get ahold of some one also is useless. Been calling for 20 minutes straight trying to get ahold of customer service on my order and it just rings and rings. I love this Target, it is clean and big, I came after a haircut. This is better than other SuperTarget stores. Take advantage of buying Prime here, the limited-edition Lemonade Prime that was sold on eBay for over $1000 or more is now officially sold in stores, it is not limited edition anymore. Lemonade, Ice Pop, Meta Moon, and Strawberry Watermelon were sold when I came, other flavors were sold in the sport drinks section in packs. I came in this store on June 10, 2023. It is also an older Target location, Fandom said it opened in October 2006. The Toy section is also bigger than other SuperTargets, they also have a full beauty section, more like the regular Target stores. Whenever near here, you should come in and check this location out, it's amazing! read more

Let me start with the positive: the store is very pretty inside. They have almost everything and (kind of) lots of variety. They also have the grocery part and a Starbucks inside. And that's it! The negative and the ones that have been bothering me for a while. The prices are too high and the quality is not the best. I've bought clothes, shoes, kids clothes, kids pjs and even underwear there. Paid a lot of $ and they either break, tear, discolor, shrink, etc. The other aspect that makes me furious: every single time: only 2/3 cash registers open and each with looooong lines. I see the managers looking at the lines and they seem to "call" or talk on their walkies yet no other cash register gets open. Helloooo this is no better than Walmart but at least Walmart everything is extremely cheap. I don't understand how come target overcharge people yet customer service is equal to Walmart's which means: non existent!! Which is why I only go to target for some specific items that I know I won't find at Walmart. Other than that I don't really go to shop for food or daily items there anymore. I much rather do the online/pick up order from the Walmart next to this target. I'm sorry but target is overrated! read more

Bright,clean,uncrowded,well-stocked. In this time of hardship and challenge for our fellow man, it seems a little contrite to be dissatisfied with your current food supply. I have a few grocery stores that i rotate through for various products. However, I'm in a "cookin" transistion" and need a different experience and type of supply from my grocers. Today I decided to make the rounds through several grocery suppliers in the area that I dont frequent. For example, there is a new Japanese place I'm anxious to get into. I actually came out here to go to an Indian store the Patel brothers but they are closed. So, I came in Taget grocery which I rarely do. This store is fantastic. Clean, pleasant, well-stocked. I even had an employee ask me if I needed assistance! When Is the last time that happened? I did end up getting a few things I would not ordinarily. This was due to having to wander around the produce section I'm not familiar with. This is a great store and I would not hesitate to return. read more

Went twice to this location and both times was basically abused by the same old lady. It was right when Covid began and we were all running out of toilet paper and other supplies. I was careful not to exceed the limits of any items and went to the self check out, as we still had no idea how catching this virus was or how exactly it spread (most of us were wearing gloves vs masks) and those of us with any common sense were already trying to socially distance and be respectful. Not this ol' lady. She rummaged through Every. Single. Item in my cart at the self check out, handling all my items and literally breathing down my neck. Then she started telling me I couldn't have more than one of a certain dish soap (which I knew wasn't the case as I had been careful to read the signs). Long story short she called other associates, a manager and talked about me as if I wasn't even there, in a rude and demeaning manner, acting as if I were a criminal. I can do without shopping at this or any Target again. It starts at the top and if this location has bad culture then this is a company issue, a festering sore present throughout. read more

Always a great experience at my neighborhood Target. The staff is friendly. The pharmacy is quick and efficient. Their clearance racks are great. Loss control used to keep an eye on my wife, but that's because she's usually at the the target 5-7 times a week, and that isn't a joke (My mother says she needs to buy stock in Target). She ended up letting the plain clothes loss prevention worker know that we live behind the Target, and she just loves Target, and will continue to shop there, even though there is a Wal-Mart across the street with lower prices. Even though Wal-Mart is cheaper, the peace of mind at Target, is priceless. read more

This is a really nice target. I went in mid week around 3pm. The parking lot was packed so I assume every Plano and Allen Mom was doing was I was and going when they thought no one else would. The store itself it very clean and very organized. I had no problems finding any of the items I needed. You can also go on the website and look up what isle your item is in if you can't find someone to ask! They didn't have many registers open while I was there so there was a bit of a wait. However, they do have self check out lines if you prefer that route. read more

If you like to receive your drive up orders with missing items and be hung up on every single time you try to call to contact someone at target this is the place to go! the app gives very little options which is fine but nobody can do their job and answer the phone or fulfill the item properly. Target's always moderately busy when I swing by, which is a rare occasion, but I'm still able to get in and out rather quickly. Parking can be an issue if walking isn't your thing If you're looking for a "life flash before your eyes" experience, try walking from your car to the front door. It's like playing Frogger, but they don't have control over that (or maybe put up speed bumps?). Inside, the store's always clean, well-stocked, and maneuverable. Finding things is easy and getting from 1 aisle to another isn't a squeeze-by situation. Again, it's never super busy when I go midday and self-check out is a breeze. read more

What's not to like about Super Target? It's big, it has lots of stuff, it looks nice on the inside and the price is (most often) right. I've shopped here a number of times over the years, and it's very convenient to get in and out of at the northeast corner of SH 121 (SRT Tollway) and Custer Rd. I bought some golf shirts here for work, and the fitting rooms were clean, well lit and free from clutter. The clothing racks were well organized, making it easy to find my size. I was able to check out quickly when I had made my selections, and the expansive parking lot means that everyone can get a good spot. Another winner for Target! read more

It's always a hit or miss when I come to this location. Sometimes, the associates are super nice and helpful and others they are not. Don't you hate it when you see the cashier talking up a storm with the customer in front of you laughing & helping them as much as they can IE "oh! I forgot to scan your Target wallet so you can get 1% back!!!" And just giving super great customer service... And then it's your turn...and you get diddly squat??? I had to ask him to scan my wallet and the coupons...it was a complete different experience from the previous customer. I guess this is why I prefer to do self check out more often. Target is my absolute favorite store! This target as well as others are going through some construction for improvement ! There is an entire section at the front of the store for beer and wine! Today I left completely and utterly upset! There is an older looking lady, brown hair, miserable looking face, of the name "trin" not sure if that is her real name or not.. she has a strong accent. Each time I come to this specific target I constantly encounter her very rude comments, gestures energy etc. I almost came back with a bat and beat her with it for talking to my children the way she did. My son has autism and has a fascination with balls, he takes one of these balls and bounces it as we've gotten home with flat balls before he wanted to make sure this ball was ready to play with and nice and filled with air, ms. (Assuming she's not married because who could be with someone so miserable) trin yells at my son "CAN YOU STOP BOUNCING THAT BALL AND PUT IT BACK" i was in such disbelief I could not even utter a word out of my mouth, my son came to me in literal tears. This old lady needs to retire if she does not enjoy her job, she needs to remember that without us consumers she would be unemployed. Hopefully management takes this matter seriously. I am only giving it a one star for now because of the horrible pre-made food that Target makes. The salads look amazing in the Deli dept. until you open it up and hidden inside is the mold, the awful samonila infested lettuce that is so old, it looks like it came out of my grandma's crisper. It's gross, please take some pride in your pre-made items. This is not the first time, at another Target I grabbed a sandwich and it was loaded with mold but it sure looked great from the outside. Dates matter on pre-made fresh items. Also, the clerks need to remind us to use are cartwheel as it is a big pain in the booty to load everything and then get distracted while making sure the discounts from the regular run are being accounted for (as they typically are not) and then forget to give them your phone at the end. I know it's not their responsibility but since they are rushing us through the line, it would be a nice thing to remind us to show are cartwheel. They might say they do but they don't! read more

Not much of a selection of a produce section since it is in a small corner on the front side. They have a wide variety of clothing and technology section. Prices are edgy since many clothing items there are quite pricey but the food section has really good deals. I would shop at Walmart before I go to Target again. read more
