Wonderful impressive shopping experience plus it is senior discount day. Yay! Good deal on what I purchased. Every single employee I encountered said Good Morning. A few even said personal niceties which made me very happy. Came straight from my 5 minute dental appointment to pick up new 4 set retainers. Drove straight here solo and it was so nice to come by myself instead of having someone waiting on me(hubs.) While I was there, I thought that I should look at other things, too! Retail therapy is a genuinely real! Ross Dress for Less yes helps your pocketbook's bottom line for sue but is so much more than that. This Mililani location is one of my favorites with lots of parking just steps away, the friendliest staff that greets with the warmest Aloha, even when I checked out she was awed with my selection as we both started talking about the use and convenience which was such a delight and they also do provide restroom as well. Everything is so clean and is easy to find just keeping my eyes calm with so many treasures to be found I find myself scanning the layout first before honing in on items that catches my eyes. Their home section is divided out into several sections more so than the other shops which I do love instead of placing items on higher racks as I am vertically challenged it brings more items to my level making shopping much more easier. I go to this rose every now and then and they've always been nice and accommodating. The amount of items they sell is a good selection it justs need to be organized more instead of put there. They have name brands for way less than normals stores like Walmart and target. look all I'm saying is that, it's good service (for me at least) the selection of clothes and everything else is good they just need people to clean up the shelf's every few hour (like after every hour teh store opens) and check the shelf's for drinks people left and wrappers read more

I've been going to the Ross stores at the Pearl City and Kapolei locations for years. While visiting my daughter and her family I stopped by the Mililani Ross store. It was an amazing experience! The comparison between the 3 branches was like night and day. Unlike the Pearl city and Kapolei stores Mililani was meticulously organized, every display and rack was labeled properly, more importantly items were in its proper place. The employees were attentive and polite. The cashiers are courteous, cheerful and articulate with the English language. This is also an important value to the customer in that the other stores are primarily staffed with immigrant workers whose English ability is obviously a second language. It seems Mililani hires from the immediate area, a demographic that is primarily comprised of middle class well educated islanders. The Ross Mililani store is the epitome of what all Ross experiences should be like. The management and staff performance is laudable and of true value for the continued quality of service customers deserve. Well done Mililani! read more

We came into this location to check out what they had. I didn't see much clothing on clearance but I did buy this Ariana Grande Cloud scented spray for $7.99. it smelled nice. I use this after I shower every morning. Hubby and daughter found lots of things. I sometimes find things here but it's a hit or miss. I did find some Nike tennis shoes here that I wanted so bad but had to leave because I am on a budget. It was a great deal for these shoes though. Maybe next pay check I will splurge on something for me. Parking was full but I managed to find a spot as people leave. I love shopping at Ross. Ross is the place to shop for a good deal! You can find name brand items for amazing prices. Location: It is located at the Mililani Shopping Center near 24 Hour Fitness. There is a lot of parking in this shopping center. Prices: Amazing prices all the time! Sometimes you'll find items on clearance and you'll get an even better deal. Ambiance: It is a smaller store and it feels cluttered and full. I feel like there isn't much room to walk around and shop comfortably when you're bumping into other people and staff who are stocking. I score a pair of Fabletics leggings for $11.99 on my recent visit. What an amazing deal!?! Regular price of Fabletics leggings are $50. I did have a fail purchase on the same shopping day as the leggings. I purchased a Merkury brand phone mount for my car. I tried it and let the sticky part stick for 2+ hours and it fell the moment I put my phone in it. Disappointed. Thankfully, the return process is easy. Overall, I love shopping at Ross. However, I will stick to the Ewa and Kapolei location since it's a bigger store. read more

I haven't shopped at this Ross regularly for a long time since moving away but when I do stop in while visiting ohana on Oahu it's been just okay. Their store is definitely stocked but their aisles are just SO narrow. There is room for one cart to get through each aisle. Maybe it also seemed extra cramped the last time I went there because they had so many Christmas items out but they seemed to overstock the shelves. It was so hard digging through items. It was very chaotic and I was feeling very claustrophobic. Maybe it wont be so bad once the holidays are over, not sure. I did however find Christmas presents for my loved ones and customer service was great. The cashier that helped me was a shorter, Filipino mix lady that was very cheerful and sweet. It's been a while since I've shopped at this location. So walking in most sections were rearranged. On the right are now ladies shoes/sandals/heels, beauty products and purses. On the left are men's shoes and clothes. Women's clothes, active wear, and maternity wear didn't seem to change. I can never score nice shoes or sandals at this location, partly my fault because I don't come at the right time.. The aisles in the back are also rearranged, shower things on the left, and car accessories and dog items are in between kids toys, clothes and infant things on the back right... Cons: Aisles are way too narrow to fit 2 passing carts. Gets awkward and sometimes I feel rushed. Girl working at the fitting room needs some pep in her step. I went to Ross Mililani on Tuesday and at check out the cashier was rude and obnoxious. I didn't catch the girls name but I had her twice already. First time she rang me up she said "wish I found cute clothes in my size but they're always out of extra small, all the cute stuff is in big sizes" the second time she asked me if I was part of the Tuesday club. And I was asked her "you mean am I a senior citizen?" " She said we gotta ask everyone" if that's true, Ross should change that policy. I was very offended because I'm no way near senior citizen. I prefer this location over the Kapolei one because the shoppers here are better behaved. However, since the Kapolei location has TJ Maxx, Target, Marshalls, Sally Beauty Supply and Ulta in the same plaza, I find myself shopping over there more than this location. In fact, I forgot this place even existed until I had to buy ear buds with a cord for my daughter because it was part of her back to school supply list. Now that everyone uses cordless earphones, it's such a hassle to find one with a cord. I normally buy this from Office Max or Target every year, but for some reason I decided to check out Ross first. Luckily I did, because I found it at Ross and it was cheaper than the ones I normally buy from Office Max. I have to buy a couple of these every year because they normally die out mid-year. Cheap, made-in-China junk! Anyway, I decided to browse though the kitchen items and found a lot of things that I didn't even know I wanted or needed. lol. I came on a Tuesday morning and the check out line was pretty long. I went back the next day to return something and was informed by the cashier that Tuesdays are normally busy because it's senior discount day. Mental note, do not come on Tuesday. Purchased a box of Queen Anne's cordial chocolate cherries. The chocolate was discolored and all of the cherries looked as they exploded. I went to return them and figured I would exchange for something else. In the box was approximately 4 containers unopened with clear wraps sealing them. The cashier at a regular register said she could do the exchange. She saw them and said " let me ask my boss" she went over to I guess a manager by the name of Keo. The manager looked at me up and down and asked me if I had left the box in the car? I told her no. With a nasty attitude she went on to say that she will make an exception this time, but won't do it again. So I told her, that I didn't know I needed to open any chocolate products to have them checked before leaving the store, since I do not want to have to deal with that I'll just put back the more expensive chocolates I was going to exchange them for. She told the cashier it's up to her to either give me cash or a store credit. I had my receipt in hand. This problem shouldn't have occurred and I hope that they retrain this young lady and teach her better customer service. read more

Love the prices and variety of clothing. Especially love that they carry lots of Harajuku Lovers, Michael Kors & Juicy bags. Often the lines are long, so I'll only go to Ross when I can deal with long lines. And the only reason you put up with the long lines are because of the great deals you find searching their often messy stores. 3 stars are for the low prices. I'd give them 5 stars if the store wasn't always a mess and if they'd open up more lines to prevent the line going to the back of the store. I always figure on waiting to pay 30 minutes after I get in line. Hope they figure out the problems with their lines. Once in a while, I'll just drop everything and leave cause I don't have that much time to waste. read more

The prices are reasonable, considering that the same brands might cost double the price at Macy's or Sears. In addition, the store also carry other household items (such as hampers, food containers, and furniture), car accessories, and even toys for the little kids! I give the store four stores for the great clothes that you can find, the prices, and the helpful store employees (though you have to hunt them down, they are usually in the front or by the fitting rooms). I love this ross! They are clean and for the most part, organized. I love the selection this location has although I know it's all at random. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of items are great. I always seem to find everything I need and better priced than other stores I frequent. From pet items, to kids clothing, household items and even some furniture... I've purchases it all! The staff are all helpful and friendly. But the main reason I docked off a star is because the parking in the Mililani shopping center sucks. Totally out of their control but still a hassle none the less. There are way too many businesses around compared to the parking available. 24 he fitness does take up a lot of the stalls which is a huge annoyance. But other than that I highly suggest taking a look just not right after work around 5, because everyone swarms food land as well. read more

Okay so seriously, I have to laugh because the girl who was at the register tonight Friday April 15, 2022 it's 8:50pm. She was a very petite I wanna say she had some Asian dissent maybe some African American... Anyways, from the start this girl had major attitude, her nails were ridiculously long and she was having the hardest time trying to just grab the clothes. So I offered to take them out of the bag for her. Not even a yes please or thank you I got a "yea, duh" I let it go since I understand retail is not that fun of a job as most young kids think. Unless ur a supervisor. So she's doing her thing and one the shirts she tried to say was 'altered' because even though I bought the shirt the way it was she was attempting to say it couldn't be returned!! It was dirty around the neck line. Now I understand if there was a tremendous amount of dirt but there was barely anything there. And honestly it was like that. My daughter didn't like it. She never tried it on. But it was like hello people try on the clothes here all the freakin time!! They get makeup, dirt, whatever on them. So for her to be like I have to ask my manager if I can return this. Felt like I was being slapped. It was just rude. N because I said "really???" She came back at me like I had just went off on her!!! Tried telling me that she is just asking a question and I didn't need to be giving her attitude and rolling me eyes!!!! Like WTF!!!! She was now making up shit!!! I seriously wanted to go off on her but I held my cool stupidly took a hit from My vape n OMG!!! U would've thought I hit a real cigarette in front of her!!! Like wow!!! I went to this Ross last night to buy me clothes for work today because my husband never do my laundry, yes, I said it, my husband didn't do my laundry..Anywho, I live in the mililani area so this Ross is close by. I was, like always, greeted with a smile by the protection prevention or whatever the title is, person, the store is usually always clean, so not a problem with that, their selection of clothes could use more variety of sizes and just more in general although I know how Ross stores buy their products. I'll still recommend my family and friends to go to this particular Ross store. Here's a tip if you know someone that works for Ross ask when the delivery days with new shipment comes in, I think its Tuesdays or Wednesdays for Oahu stores and ask to use there discount card 20% off of what's already a low price... Service was above and beyond. Long story short bought a medium luggage. Already ripped the tag and no receipt. Went to the pearlridge Ross and found a larger one. Went to this location to see if I could exchange. But at that point with no receipt I wasn't able to. But I know it was my fault but the associate went and above and helped me out and I was able to keep my large luggage and got a store credit instead. So I'm a happy camper. Inside the store, as I walk in, I am always greeted, which is by the way, nice. =) The store is organized, as I can easily find what I am looking for whether it be clothes, shoes, toys, housewares. Parking can be hard at peak hours though, but they do open at 9:30 am and open late, so many opportunities to beat the mad rush. but it being right next door to 24 hour fitness, sometimes can be rough. I don't think I have bought a single thing here and I tried to give them a shot at least 6 times. I know Ross lines can get long but this one gets exceptionally long. Came in looking for a carry on suit case for my upcoming Vegas trip. I was pleasantly surprised to see their wide selection and not so pleasantly surprised to see the unorganized mess I had to wad through to find one. There were suitcases of all sizes everywhere! Up high on shelves, under tables, on top of tables, even some hanging! After about 1/2 an hour looking I found the perfect one. I got a $90 suit case for $39.99! What a deal! I hate the long lines! And it gets worse every time I go. There's only like 2 cashiers open. Plus their so slow. You have like 20 people in line. Cheap clothes and cheap service go together right? Another time I stood in line forever and I couldn't get someone to open the sun glasses case so when it came time for me to pay for my items, I asked the cashier if someone could open it for me. So the cashier tells this lady close to her to open the glass case and the lady gives HER the keys and says go help me. I was like wtf! My poor cashier has a long line of people and she has to get them for me?! I felt so bad. Ohh boy...ii really try not to write negative reviews but ii hope this never happens to anyone. Im going to make this short n as sweet as can be. I had just gotten surgery on my hand and have been trying to be really careful as to what ii am doing n my surroundings so that its not banged up by by passers.. Lets fast forward to the emergency exit of the back of the store going off, someone tried to shoplift. Loss Prevention was already there deactivating the alarm n cking out the things that were left behind. As ii am standing looking at another shelf, an associate comes storming (im not exaggerating) out the warehouse door in-front of my n literally BANGS not a soft bump but BANGS my cart, which caused my cart to hit the shelf ii was looking at as well as shock my whole arm that ii just had surgery on. Not only this this lady NOT APOLOGIZE, but proceeded to keep walking to Loss Prevention as if she did nothing wrong. Another customer had seen everything that had just happened and was in disbelief that she was so RUDE. I was standing there still in shock about my arm going into shock. I seen an associate walking towards me and ii politely asked if ii could get the name of that associate and pointed to the associate who hit my cart. As she goes on to tell me this associates name, this same RUDE associate starts yelling at the associate whom is clearly talking to me "to get over there and help"! Like are u serious? the associate who assisted me in getting her name was Marisa and she is amazing n has a great personality n customer service. This is was baffled me, this RUDE associate was a MANAGER by the name of MS. V or VEOLA! YES u read correctly she was a manager. As ii waited patiently for them to get down with gathering the almost stolen items Veola was now walking towards me here is how the conversation went... Me: Hi, excuse me may I please get your name? Veola: Its Veola, what do u need? Me: (eyes n mouth are wide open tripping out on how she answered) explain that what she did earlier was rude...as im still talking Veola: (never makes eye contact with me) I aint got time for this (as she proceeds to keep walking away) Me: WOW! I than write the time of the incident and continue to do my shopping and calm down being ii was still in disbelief of who rude this manager was. The next day I talked to the district manager about the incident and felt better. This store has become my all time favorite Ross' in the neighborhood. We don't have to drive far to get to Ross since we moved to Mililani. When we lived in Waikele, we either have to go to Pearl Highlands or Pearlridge mall. Now we just hop in our car and its about a five minute drive depending on traffic!
