Nice store supper busy every time I come there. I think the Majic to avoiding crowds is coming in super early or coming in before closing time. I been looking for some unique clay pots but did not find it this time however I did fine some nice Pruning shears. I can see each store has something different . Parking is ample Also I see you can walk in with or without mask . I like that and also you can wipe the cart or not . The important thing is don't touch your face, when handling those carts . I only came in here because my friend wanted to see what they had that was new. I have been to the store many years ago and did not feel the need to come back. I walked around and tried to be open-minded with this store. I know it can get hectic and things get out of place. I did see a blouse that reminded me of a Michael Kors one that was only $8.99. They had that in the front which was smart because it is sort of eye catching. Prices are super low here. It is almost unbelievable so if you are on a budget, this could be a great place to find some name brand merchandise at a low price. So much of the store was cluttered and so many things were out of place. It seemed more like a thrift store then a store selling new merchandise. My friend bought something and we waited in line. We walked up to the cashier and the lady had a really bad attitude. My friend wanted to buy her items separately. The lady did not understand that request and it took about 5 minutes for her to realize what my friend wanted. It was uncomfortable and I was really ready to leave the store. I must say that the security guard in the front was very pleasant as well as the male cashier right near the door. Both were concerned because we had come in from the rain and asked if we needed any paper towels to dry off. Really great location and probably the neatest location that I have been to to date. I came in for one thing (yeah right) and left a full cart (I won't say how much I spent) and about 45 minutes later. I was literally able to get a little bit of everything. Shoes for my son and myself, work dresses for me, gym wear, a purse (no not Michael Kors) and a few other items. I know for sure that I will be back as I am planning to go in the morning. read more

I like this Ross although it's rather small compared to other ones . when you walk in you are greeted so nicely. Things are usually in place at this location. You can find what you need for holidays or just about any clothing for a good price. I usually always get all out with something. This is horrible. To walk into this store and be greeted to long lines with a security standing there with a nasty attitude. Only 2 registers open. The security being nasty and sarcastic with the customers also just because he was asked about opening up more registers. Management came to the front and mumbled something about she's going back to her office to finish what she was doing. No consideration for your customers. The line was going down the center of the store and still no other register was opened and the manager did not come back to the front as she had stated she would do to open another register. I seen 3 Loss prevention people but not enough cashiers. Ross makes plenty of money from their consumers that they should be able to have enough people staffed each day. This is ridiculous!!! I'm a long-time shopper at Ross, but this Pembroke Pines location was THE WORST customer service I've ever seen in my life!! They had a line of about 50 people and only one person ringing purchases up at the register. Then the manager is there talking and laughing the whole time with another cashier instead of trying to help reduce the line. At least 4 people went up to her complaining and it seemed like she didn't care at all. I won't ever go back to this location, it's a joke. read more

This store was definitely not prepared for the Easter Rush. The store was in complete disarray. The bathrooms were completely disgusting. The racks reminded me of a yard sale where every size was mixed in together. Some of the merchandise already had malfunctions. The store only wants to give a 10% discount when a malfunction is notable. The prices weren't as great as I remember. The quality of clothing has diminished since the last time I was here. This is not a store that I will need to revisit any time soon. read more

This store is locate in on of the busiest shopping area and never has enough cashier to deal with the amount of customers. I have been in a line for over 20 minutes that wraps around the store all the way past the fitting room. Only 3 cashiers on a Saturday afternoon. I will never shop here again! read more

If it wasn't for the terribly long lines, I would give this store a 5/5. There are always so many amazing items, especially in terms of home decor, for ridiculously low prices. The lines are the only pit-fall: if you go on a weekend, plan to wait in line for at least an hour. The manager and employees try, but just too many people come during high times. read more

Came in for a return. The lady greeting helped me find the line (that had a tiny sign I wouldn't have found on my own) and there was just one person in front of me. When I was called up the cashier processed my return. In and out in 5 minutes. Not a bad Ross. Pretty organized, but in general, I don't really find too many styles in here that I like. I do find dress pants here of good brands at a good price so they are good for that. Great merchandise but horrendous customer service. The store is usually messy and disorganized. I can never find my size of clothing in the area where it is supposed to be located. Also, Ross never has enough Business Casual wear appropriate for my job. In smaller sizes, there are plenty of career wear options. Just because I wear Size 18, it does NOT mean I only wear jeans, T-shirts, and pullover tops! If the management of this store would make it more consumer friendly, I would change my rating to 3 stars. What I would REALLY love to see is my all time favorite off-price discount store in South Florida...VALUE CITY! This store always has the longest line ever! I was just at this location and there were literally 29 customers ( I counted) waiting to purchase at the registers and only one register open meanwhile two registers were open just for the return line which only had 4 customers waiting. After several people complained to the store manager, her response was a nonchalant answer of "yeah... we are sending someone". She then proceeded to help the returns instead of getting on a register or actively doing someone about fixing the situation. This is not a one time situation either. This store is always ridiculous and the managers always look like they don't want to help or really do anything. Please go somewhere else. I've come to realize that there are good Ross stores, and bad Ross stores. This location does have decent inventory. I mostly shop for home stuff, and the pricing on bedding, towels, décor, and kitchen gadgets is very good. The store gets VERY busy, and I can understand it must be difficult to keep all the items organized. The thing that gets me in this store is the employees. Unfortunately, most of them are incredibly rude. Just as an example.. last week I purchased one small item. The cashier rung it up, I slid my card, and BEFORE the receipt was printed, she was yelling THROUGH me "NEXT CUSTOMER IN LINE!!!" She couldn't wait 3 more seconds to hand me the receipt and allow me to step away. Instead, I'm waiting for my receipt with the next customer up my back. I finally get to step away and the cashier yells "NEXT CUSTOMER" again. SMH So unnecessarily rude..and this is just one bad checkout experience of several I've had here. When in the neighborhood, stop by Homegoods instead. It will be worth the 10% more you pay there, but at least you will more likely be treated like a human being. read more

Ross is one of my favorite stores to shop at for different items. I've come to notice there are great ones and terrible ones. This location is definitely the worst one I've come to in my time of shopping at Ross. I came in for three items: a leash for my dog, hangers and candles. I ended up waiting in line for over 45 minutes. There's only one cashier open with a line extending all the way to the back of the store. Unbelievable. Absolutely horrible! I purchased a suitcase for my husband to which he replied that he didn't like the color, thus I went to try and exchange the case. I was rudely informed that the wheels didn't look "new" so I wasn't allowed an exchange, return, or credit!!! Obviously the wheels wouldn't be all shiny after wheeling it out of the store and back in. I love ROSS because of their variety and prices but customer service is a big part of the experience. The employees must have all been taught by the same person as they all have NO customer skills. They don't even acknowledge you when you get to the register. And the screaming NEXT!!!!! for the next customer to check out before you even finish your transaction? I'm all for efficiency but this method is horrible! The cashier did not remove one of the security tags so the alarm went off when I went to leave. NO ONE HELPED ME. I had to go back to the register that rung me out and she was obviously annoyed AT ME because SHE didn't do her job! She then screamed at another employee to help me. She took me back to the front door and spread my items all over the floor to find the alarm marker. When she didn't find it right away, she said, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU. I recently purchased a book bag for my 14 year old at this location. Unfortunately, she did not like the style and asked me to return it. I knew this would be a struggle because I did not have the receipt and the ROSS tag was not there even though the original manufactures tag was still attached to the bag. As I attempted to exchange this bag for one that my 8 year old son wanted they would not do it. I asked to speak to the manager on shift Stephaine Joseph, she never came and sent a message back with the cashier asking me to go to another location that carries this bag and then exchange it at that location. I asked the cashier if she was crazy to suggest that I travel to almost every ROSS nearby in order to exchange an item. I then explained to the cashier that I was now upset asked for the manager to speak to me again. She left rolling her eyes and came back a few minutes later stating that she spoke to a second manager Alferdo Rodriguez and he said he could not help me exchange this bag. I explained to the cashier that I also work in management and this is not acceptable. I asked as the customer twice to speak to a manager and none of the 2 managers that she spoke to decided to come over and personally explain my options to me. The cashier told me that the only thing that she can do is ring up the new back pack that I wanted to exchange. I replied that I would not spend one red cent in here until I contacted the corporate office. She replied... That is not necessary.. why would I do that? I rolled my eyes and walked away. read more
