I went to Ross to get curtains and rods. The pricing was great. Saved me a lot of money. I'd check at Ross before Anna's Linens. Downside: You can't take the cart out of the store which makes it a bit difficult to buy several big items. The cashier was a bit confused on how to package my 6 big curtain rods. I mentioned about them helping me out in which they were non-responsive. How did I get my items out? 3 trips out to the car which wasn't a big deal. The cashiers attitude made it seem like I was stealing. I work hard for my money and I'm glad to spend it at Ross. But to made to feel like you steal because the duffle bag was heavy and she was rude. She gave good conversation to the person after me who was white. I am surprised by so much negative feedback. I have had nothing but positive experiences in this store. It's close to home and I probably stop in at least 3-4 times per month. I always manage to find cute seasonal/holiday items, especially to give as gifts and they have a pretty good plus size clothing selection. Lately, I haven't done too well in the shoe department but all in all, this location has provided a good shopping experience. The manager and cahiers have always been helpful, friendly an courteous. i will say that at times I have been appalled by the disrespect of customers who just toss clothing they decided against, put things back in very wrong places and were not respectful to other customers. read more

Tried to return an item and was denied because my daughter ripped the tag off prior to us finding a tear in her shirt, and I waited TOO long to come back but under the 30 day return policy. Very clean and well organized when I was there on an early Sunday morning. It was easy to browse through shirts and shoes, which isn't always the case at Ross locations. Done seeing poor associates being mistreated depending on management mood. Done listening to the manager whining to everyone about personal and sex life while on the job. Done with the worst district management of all time that never get involved; they're just so good in re-arranging the purses and luggage isles, but never picked up their phone to hear a compliant or solve an ongoing problem. Done with having my hours taken when the manager is upset with me requesting time off to meet with my army recruiter. Done seeing all the crap handled differently from one manager to another. Done with stupid rules that don't make sense. Done with stupid alert line that doesn't do anything, but there for show. Another hit or miss Ross, but I've found some great bargains on Michael Kors clothing here. I've also gotten designer sunglasses that I would have paid more for! A great place for women with patience. I often have to try on several things and only leave with a few, but I've found several great basics of finer quality for my wardrobe. Also, the dressing room associates are friendly. No one here seems to hate their job, and the store is kept up nicely. The cashiers are quick. read more

Came to this location spent $90 there's cashier not friendly at all didn't say one word to me. A security device on an item that I bought was left on, had to drive backup to the store. As i walked in told security guy what happened, No apology just a do you have a receipt then sent me back in line which was fine because I did have a return as well. While I was waiting in line I watched one other person beep at the door and have a security tag on their item. They went through the same cashier I originally went through and also got again for my return. Let the cashier know that the security device was left on and he instantly started doing it as a return I said no that is not a return that item has a device on it I need it take it off this item is the return. (I had them separate and handed him the item as I was telling him what happened. Didn't say a word just stood there looking at my receipt for a good 3 minutes. Already annoyed I said it's an $8 towel I didn't steal it. When I told him that the Door alarm did sound but one of the workers was standing by the door and waved me out I didn't think anything of it so I kept going and drove home. He then rudely as ever, says you didn't think to just stop and check your stuff, with a dirty look on his face. I didn't know I had to do your job for you. I asked for a corporate number because the manager was too busy standing by the security guard Talking about their personal life they couldn't be bothered with seeing what was wrong. When my return was finished i said i wont be coming back here, then proceeded to walk out the door. I was almost out the door that's when the manager decided to walk up and ask the cashier what happened didn't bother coming up to me realizing that I was upset. Within the same week my wife was making a purchase and the cashier tried to accuse her of stealing a customized Nike ID (customized meaning her name is on the bag...go figure) sports purse she has. When challenged and advised to go get Loss Prevention he recanted his accusation. Then a few days later my wife and I returned and she wanted to purchase some earrings in their locked display cabinet. When I asked the cashier he stated referring to another employee "yea that guy in the black shirt has the key so yea...". Ok so deny a paying customer goods cause you can't communicate to your coworker to retrieve an item. I had to select a star but they deserve ZERO stars Bad Customer Service . Very nasty if you want to return an item. and if you didnt bring a recipt they dont lookup your card . they make you take a store credit which normally i dont mind but they are very rude an un pleasant . Turn it against you the customer!! Manger first made me wait didnt come out then when came out ignored me and spoke with her peers. then when spoke to me was rude very rude. I've never been so humiliate! Went into Ross in Atascocita today to return a pair of jeans that I purchased from the evening before. I wasn't able to try anything on Bc the fitting rooms were closed due to a staff shortage. So it was my turn to finally complete my return. I was not greeted with a simply hello. I told the sales associate Mariana, that I wanted to return the jeans, the sales associate then said very distasteful "We have to review the cameras Bc the tags were switched" Ok, so I waited for the other sales associate Julianna to review the camera. I waited and Juliana returned stating to an associate "someone must have placed the wrong tags on those pants. So I'm just waiting infront of the entire store, customers looking at me like Im a theif! One thing I have is compassion. Neither women apologized or even acknowledged me after they reviewed the cameras to see that I did indeed purchase the item, I even asked for an apology in which I should not have asked for an apology for being inconvenienced. Julianna gave me a nasty comment and stated," that's policy" Trust me I understand policy, but at the end you must still have good costumer service and compassion. I'd give this store a one star if I could! I'm so angry at this place I'd advise everybody not to shop here. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought a pair of pants and after I wore them for a day I washed them and than put them in the dryer. When I pulled them out they were half the size. There were absolutely no washing instructions that said Do not Dry! So I just went into the store to return them or exchange them for ones I won't dry next time, and I was told once they are washed the are unreturnable. Worst return policy in town! The store manager did not even respect me, the paying customer, enough to come to the customer service desk to discuss a requested return. I tried to return a brand new dress with the tags attached and the original receipt, however, because I purchased the item more than 30 days ago they refused to issue me a credit to my Visa. I was given a store credit. My fiance tried to return a defective bottle of cologne this past weekend (the pump spray stopped working) and they would not exchange the defective item for a working item. We will be taking all of our business away from Ross and shopping at other discounters like Target, Anna's Linens, Tuesday Mornings, TJ Maxx, anywhere but Ross. read more

The security measures have gotten out of control at Ross. Between the security guards, the TSA type of security measures at the fitting room, and having to be buzzed in at the one bathroom, it has turned into a ghetto store where it is no fun to shop at anymore. TJMaxx and Marshalls have none of these extreme security measures and their merchandise is more expensive. read more

I went to return an item on 3rd street at 1pm on Sunday April 15th..I was asked to stand in an empty return line. Others were in checkout. As the only black in the store, the cashier woman at the return desk proceeded to call 3 white persons in checkout next to me...even they were appalled I was skipped three times. I asked them..."did she say stand here?" they all agreed. When I asked her whats going on...she said, "these people were in line..so you will just have to wait". I love shopping at Ross and places like it. I grew up in the area where this Ross is located and have come here for years. It has never been a good one and has gone downhill considerably in the past 5 years. The store is completely filthy. About 2 years ago I found a puddle of urine in the dressing room. Why I ever came back after that experience is beyond me. Maybe this is how I punish myself. The shopping carts are gross, covered in goo and visibly dirty. Floors are sticky, merchandise is strewn about by careless customers who tend to flock here. The stock overall is poor, and merchandise is disorganized. Mothers utilize the store as free babysitting while their children run wild taking toys out and running around screaming. Lines are always long. It is like a zoo. I will not come here anymore because I leave feeling pissed off at the store and humanity each time. read more

ok, let me be straight with you. i hate paying full price for anything. yes, i'm one of those people. i love a coupon. i love a discount. and i absolutely love a bargain! but i don't like to feel dirty when i leave a store. i felt really, really dirty when i left this store. ewwwwww. this is a yucky ross. dirty, dirty, dirty! the floors and clothing racks were filthy. i couldn't have bought something even if i wanted to because the store was so gross - i got black "stuff" on my hand after touching a clothing rack. the floor was so discolored i'm not sure what the original color was. parts of the store's floor were sticky. many of the clothes had indistinguishable marks on them, presumably from the dirty hangars and racks they are stored on. selection was meager, there wasn't a single shoe, bag, wallet, sock or home decor item that caught my eye. the trip was a waste of an hour that i'll never get back. never, ever again. read more
