This store has a lot of good items. I didnt find both mats I went for, but I was able to find 1 that I needed. I also saw the same organizer I bought at Marshall's for $7.99 here, and I paid $4.99 at Marshall's. Glad I bought it when I did. I also have been wanting some Tree Hut body cream and they had the Vanilla scent. I wasn't in love with the scent, so I didn't get it, but I may end up getting it, if I go back and it's still there. On top of line being an hour long I waited in an hour long line just to do a return once I get to the register. Angelina was extremely rude. Advised me that she was unable to do my return because it was over $100. It was only 130. She walked over to her manager to confirm if it was OK to do my return once he gave her the confirmation Miss Angelina then walked over to lost prevention and asked the gentleman if I walked in with my merchandise. Came here on a Saturday at about 12:30pm, a little bit crowded but the line wasn't terrible. A guy named Guadalupe was our cashier who was friendly however I asked for multiple gift receipts at the beginning of the transaction and he only gave me one. He asked a cashier next to him how to print more and she said she would have to return everything and do the transaction again. This Ross has some really rude associates! Customer service is out the window! I'm pregnant and needed to use the restroom. The Hispanic lady with horrible eye liner was so rude! I politely asked if I can use the restroom. She looked at me and ignored me and continued to gossip with her co worker about a Snoop Dogg look alike. I asked again saying sorry can I please use the restroom. She looked at me rolled her eyes and said "can't you see someone's in there already". I was caught off guard because no, I did not know someone was in there already. Waited and then someone came out and she continued to ignore me and continue to talk. AWFUL experience! IF I could give them a zero or negative rating I would. I paid for two fairly large trays and was told by the cashier the security guard 10 feet away from the cash register would ask to see my receipt. I showed him (some Indian guy) my receipt and then he wanted to see inside the bag. I touched my back as to seem to open it and he said he couldn't see it. I then made another faint gesture to parse a part of the bag. I was waiting for him to open it. He never did but I thought he was messing with me because he could. What an unprofessional butt hole! I am not a super Ross shopper like some people I know that go every week to catch the new goods. I'll go to Ross every once in a while. Mostly for back to school shopping. Of the several I've swung by in a recent history, this one had a nice big selection. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. I did not spend time cruising through the whole sales floor but spent most of our time in mens. Honestly very well stocked. I had a hard time not spending more ha ha. We did make a single purchase and check out was fast and friendly. We were even thanked on the way out. Super customer service! There is plenty of parking. This place was a disaster. We were momentarily greeted by the Loss Prevention Officer who briefly looked up while scrolling social media on her phone. Walked through the isles and they were in great disarray. Attempted to use the restroom and some lady walked out and told the associate there was fecal matter on the floor. Went back to restroom 45 minutes later and fecal matter remained on the floor. Additionally there was no toilet paper and the cleaning log indicated last time restroom was cleaned was 6 days ago. I have a theory that stuff goes from Macy's to TJ Maxx and/or Marshalls and it's final resting place to die is at Ross unless I buy it and give it a new home. This Ross in particular is near and dear to my heart because it was one of the anchor stores that still remains at Terra Vista Shopping Center. There's been little to no remodeling done to this store since it first opened in the early to mid 90's, in fact it seems to have gotten more inundated with products, clothes, etc. It's seriously starting to look like a Goodwill Store in here, but don't let the hoarding chaos fool you, there are deep discounts here if you have the will to look. They're even open until 1 a.m. year round which means you could come through here for a early morning work outfit, a last minute clubbing outfit or because you need water or snacks. Service here is fast and efficient, there's even a security guard that loudly greets every customer that comes through the door! read more

Ross has always been my "go to" place for my clothes/shoes for work, workout clothes, and stuff for my house. I understand every Ross is different and you will never be guaranteed a certain size or find the same items like you did at another Ross. So you just have to come into Ross with that mindset and you'll never be disappointed. Consider it "treasure hunting". Anyway, I don't like to give secrets away, but my favorite time to come is when they open (9AM) and there's seriously NO ONE THERE. You have the whole place to yourself to browse through stuff and I've scored every time! I normally Love Ross Dress for Less. I like their vast selection of dresses, t-shirts, sweaters, coverups, active wear, pants, skirts, shorts, perfumes, purses, shoes, accessories , men's clothing, gift items, pet supplies, and home goods section...... With that being said, the last three times I have been there I have truly been a disappointment. Their selection and quality seems to have gone down some. By this I mean everything looked really picked through and there were more damaged items for sale than usual. Nothing more upsetting to find the perfect sweater, and then noticing the big hole in the back. Dislike! Another big disappointment is in their loss prevention team. I understand that shoplifting is a big problem, but they do not have to treat everyone like they are thieves. The big security guy in front, ok no problem there , but being followed around, or at least feeling that way is unnerving. Now the associate at the fitting room looks at every item of clothing you are trying on and shakes them out in front of you to make sure no additional items were missed. They do the same thing when you come out. This is very time consuming and kind of insulting. I work in law enforcement and understand policy, but Ross, can you please do it in a more appropriate way. Ross used to have a lot more clothing I liked about 10-15 years ago, but not anymore. I only come here once maybe every 3-4 yrs in which I usually don't come out with anything. I got a $20 gift card for Christmas so I went today & ended up getting shampoos & conditioners. If all else failed, I would have gotten socks & liquid hand soaps, which are my old standbys when I can't find anything else to buy with a gift card. However, I do think Ross is a bit BETTER than Kohl's because you can at least find name brand stuff for a good price. Kohl's just has these cheap brands that are specifically made for Kohl's stores. read more

I really don't care for the store cause u can't try on anything and its a pain to keep taking things back. There are some stores that have open dressing rooms so there's no excuse. It makes no sense to not have fitting room open cause its no different than taking the item Home then returning it. U can sanitize the the area and allow 1-2 rooms open at a time. Went there today and showed my i.d. for the senior discount. The cashier looked at it and nodded her head but after I left the store , I realized she did not give me the discount! Do their cashiers have bad training or was she just stupid or what? I had to go back to the store with all my purchases and get in then return line to have another cashier redo my purchases and give me the discount.
