This location needs some real training on how to speak to customers and sharing information. I went into the store today do a price adjustment on wallflower refills, and the cashier/manager told me that I already got it for a discount price. I said that's not the discounted price, so she went to walk to the table and scanned the item and it was cheaper when I first bought it. She had to calculate it with the calculator to see how much it would be, and she couldn't still figure it out. Then she told me that price adjustment wouldn't happen because all products are final sale. I said show me a sign that says all items are final sale. Then she took her words back, and then asked another cashier if she is doing it right. The other cashier looked clueless, so she asked someone else to help her do it who is a veteran of that store taught her how to do it. I honestly don't think I will ever shop here again because I always go to Victoria gardens because the workers there know what they are doing. I called the store on the phone to find out the price of their hand soap. I knew I missed the $2.99 sale. The person who answered the phone said the soap was $3.50. When I got to the store, I waited in a line while 5 employees conversed about trivial stuff (it would have been helpful to open a second register) When the cashier finally rang up my order, the soap rang up as $5.50 each. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of this Bath and body Works. It's in a great location with plenty of parking and the staff are very friendly. The store is well kept but every single time I go in there's only one person at the register. I usually see so many employees there walking around, but I never seen more than two people at a register so I always have to wait in line for a while because the cashiers are usually so friendly They talk so much. That being said if I'm on a lunch break or anything I won't go to this location no cashiers not a good place. If you're in a hurry. Two stars. read more

Some employees are very pleasant but there's this one lady who was very rude and disrespectful to a non English speaking customer and refused to seek an employee who could help. So, when I stepped in and helped the elderly non English speaking customer it made her more upset, once that customer left and she was helping me she thought it was okay to still bad mouth that customer not being able to speak English and she feeling rushed by her. read more

No wonder why they have such low reviews especially the recent ones. I went earlier this week to exchange some items my sister & I got for Christmas as a gift. I was not able to come in early since I've been sick. Didn't think it was going to be a problem. I just could not handle the smell of the Vanilla Beal Noel scents. We got quite a bit of products and just wanted to exchange them for a different scent. As soon as we went in, we asked one of the girls if we can exchange them showing her the products. She said we could exchange or get store credit. We went to the register, the gal in the white tee and black glasses with her hair up didn't even greet us and rudely said she needed to ask her manager grabbing all the products from us. She came back and said we could only get stuff that are on sale or get store credit for sale price. The satisfactory guarantee is no longer valid because the amount we got for store credit is unbelievably underwhelming. We received for Christmas: 2 body washes ($18.95/each), 2 body mist ($17.95/each), 2 body lotion ($16.95/each), 2 room sprays ($8.95/each), 2 hand creams ($8.95/each). That's worth $143.50 before taxes and we get $41 in store credit back! INSANE! Terrible customer service. Just because it's "old packaging" (2 weeks later lol) we couldn't even exchange anything and could only get 2 products worth with the store credit. read more

Store is clean, small and popular which equates for a long line of early bird ladies. I'm not a fan of this store because it is ridiculous to drive by and see a sea of people lined up for half off 3 wick candles all the way around the block. I ordered my candles online and I've been to bigger Bath & Body Works stores with little to no lines inside the mall. The employees were great and I bought a bottle of the original scented sanitizer spray, but if you're trying to avoid COVID I would suggest ordering online. read more

I am a retail manager for over 33 years. I called the store in Rancho since I work in upland and on my way home thought I can check on a product if they have it in stock. I have over an hour drive to get home so I thought this would save me some time . The girl answers the phone by saying hello .. not bath and body works... I confirmed where I was calling.. I asked if she had this product in stock, the reply was I don't know were having sales right now and things are selling out . You would have to come in to see for yourself. I told her I was just hoping you can check because I'm an hour away from home and was trying to locate the product.. she tells me I can see if I can get someone to check for you... Horrible experience in this store location today. After being approached by a pleasant associate my group of 3 were followed around by a different associate making our shopping experience unpleasant. When I went to check out I was told by cashier #3514825 to stay behind the plexiglass after she stood to the side of the plexiglass. No one else was told this but me when other patrons stood exactly where I stood. I was offended because she (the cashier) wasn't behind the plexiglass but told me to step behind the plexiglass after talking with me next to the plexiglass. She even handled my cell phone to scan my rewards and handled my purchased items. Go figure... These two associates made me feel like they were racially motivated. This Bath and Body Works is located in the Terra Vista shopping center near Payless and Ross. I like this store because it is not in a big mall. It is super easy to get in and out without dealing with the crowds. There is plenty of parking near the front of the store. This store has a good selection that is not too picked through. I can always find what I need in this store. The ladies that work here greet you when you come in and are very helpful. The store is neat, clean , and well organized. I've always liked Bath & Body Works and their products. I've been using their lotions, body sprays, hand soaps, candles, and lip glosses since I was in High School. My favorite scent is still the Japanese Cherry Blossom. LOCATION: I think it's pretty awesome that I don't have to be inside a mall to shop at Bath & Body Works! This store is located at the Terra Vista Town Center on the northeast corner of Haven Ave and Foothill Blvd. It's actually a little hidden so just remember it's to the left of Ross (Dress for Less). CUSTOMER SERVICE: Service has been "okay". One time I was ready to check out and was ignored for a few minutes. Another time, I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed any assistance. The most recent time was pretty chaotic and none of the staff seemed to be helping anybody. They were stocking the shelves and trying to control the line. SALES/COUPONS: I've been to this particular location a few times now and a few weeks ago bought the large 3-wick candles (on sale 2 for $22). During that visit they gave me 3 coupons including one for 20% off my next entire purchase. Over the weekend, I came to buy a bunch of their holiday scented lotions (Vanilla Bean Noel, Winter Candy Apple, Twisted Peppermint, & Frosted Wonderland), hand soaps (Vanilla Bean Noel & Winder Candy Apple), and body wash. (many of them are $12.50 at retail price). I'm glad they have a section for Men. I got the "2 in 1 Hair + Body Wash" in Whitewater Rush and Mahogany Woods for gifts. They were having a sale on lotion, "Buy 3, Get 3 Free" and also their Hand Soaps were $2.50 each (original price $6.50). I bought a bag full of items and used my 20% off coupon on top of it. My receipt said I saved over $148! We were here around 10:00AM and the place was getting pretty packed. They had these large red dots on the floor to help control the flow of the line for people wanting to pay and check out. I am writing this review for one reason and one reason only...Cassandra. This lovely, gem of a lady was the most pleasant, kindest person I have ever come across at this location. She had a great personality and reminded me to use my app and to look back at my emails for a $10 off $30 coupon. Ever since I downloaded the app, I have completely forgotten about the email coupons. But Cassandra was there, to hold my hand and guide me along the way to savings glory. Make sure you get the app and sign up for email reminders. Also, the holidays are coming up so get ready for their candle sale (I think candles are $11) in early December and Black Friday where you can use multiple coupons in one transaction. Was suprised to find that there were two one star ratings. I did find it a bit odd that they did not have any photos to the names and were posted within days of each other...hmmm. My experance has been nothing but positive. They have always been very nice and helpful. Many of my friends have all experanced the same great customer service. I made a 40$ purchase at this location, but I remembered that I had a car air freshener holder in my car. The holder was defective and wouldn't stay closed. So I proceeded back into the store to see if I could exchange it for the same item. I didn't have the receipt, but I was told there was nothing that could be done. I would have to purchase another one. I remind you that I just spent 40$. Would it have hurt to satisfy a loyal customer? So I decided to return all the items I had just purchased. I have been to this location three times. My last two experiences were exactly the same even though the staff was completely different. Complaints: Staff doesn't know the answers to any questions. Today for example, I asked "how long does your sale on candles and body care last," and the response I got was "there's new coupons every day so I wouldn't even know." She didn't even try to look it up and not once did she make eye contact with me. I brought in my own bag and she literally tossed my bag aside to the point where it nearly fell off the counter. Then when she was done running my card, the receipt printed out and she walked away. She didn't say thank you, have a good night, no sign that she was done with the transaction, I grabbed my own receipt and had to ask loudly "are we done" and she looked at me like I was bothering her and rudely said "YES!" On 12/8/19 when I came in I asked the cashier if she could verify that all the items came through on sale and she looked at me like as though I was asking her to give me her first born grandchild. She responded "I'm sure it did" and refused to double check what she had scanned in so rushed. Positives: -It's organized -Clean -Small store but easy access and although the line can get long it moves fast * this is the ONLY reason I might consider coming back but MANAGEMENT - you should step up your employees customer service standards because this location almost makes going to a busier less convenient store with GOOD customer service more appealing. read more

I went in to the store to take advantage of their holiday sale. There are a lot of great deals available. I particularly was interested in purchasing a couple of 3 wick candles since I had a reward available with my Bath & Body works app. $10 off a $30 purchase. The store was very busy and the line was almost to the front door. I was able to get in quickly, smelled a few candles, then headed to the line. With the sale, it was a limited selection on candles. The line went by pretty quickly. When I reached the cashier, she informed me that I had picked up one candle that was not on sale, that one I decided against. In a effort to move the line faster, I felt that the young lady was really rushing. No real customer service experience....more like wham bam, thank you ma'am. Rush, rush, your off. NEXT! Unprofessional! Not kid friendly staff!! I went there with my son, who is 3. He ran in and I close the door behind us because it was safer for him. A worker says out loud in front of everyone "keep the door open" I then let her now I dont want him going near it. She then said "why cant he just stay near you " I said he is a kid that what kids do. She said" okay open the door when you leave". He stayed near me doing nothing and another worker comes up and says you know my brother bought a leash for his son and it works maybe you should do that for yours. Not my usual location 2 go 2, but stopped by 2 exchange my Pumpkin Apple candle because of defective wicks. Mgr asked me if I was blowing out my candle and I said yes. Really, how else do you put a candle out besides using a snuffer which I'm not buying? She said the wicks are defective because I blew the flames out. Yeah, and mind you this is the 3rd candle I've burned - same scent and yes, I blew the flames out. She told me to put the lid on while the flames are burning and that should put it out without damaging the wicks. Seriously? Not only is that a hazard but that will scorch the lid. Geez. Did I get to exchange it? No. What happened to their 100% guarantee? Apparently not at this location. They are condescending and rude here. Don't waste your time. But when it came to paying, the lady Maryssa at the cash register was very rude. I had never used the app before and it seemed to bother her that I asked how to get my reward points... She was rushed me through the entire transaction, & It just seemed like customer service was just not her thing. I usually have such a good experience at this store, however today was the opposite. I picked out a hand sanitizer holder that was in with the sale area. Mind you there were many different kinds mixed together in that area. I got to the register to find out that it wasn't part of the sale even though there multiple in the sale area. The cashier gave me the sale price and I finished checking out. However, after I had checked out and was getting ready to leave the associate who wasn't even ringing me up, told me just so you know it was $12.95 not $2.95 and it was the only one over there. The original ones are over here and that's where they go, not part of the sale bucket. I had already checked out and the issue had been solved so I didn't see the necessity of that statement or the point. Was it supposed to make me feel bad? Was she trying to tell me I moved it just to get the sale? Your store was the one that placed it in the wrong spot to begin with. Curbside pick up is a joke! I ordered a few candles for pick up and a day later when I went to go pick them up I had to wait outside over 25 min, at which point I had to leave because it was ridiculous. The line to get in and shop was way faster (and people were indeed coming in and out while I was waiting). Had I known this prior, I would have just gone in and bought the candles as opposed to this whole unorganized set up. I mean I get this service is to help reduce traffic in the store but clearly this particular store shouldn't offer it if they can't figure out an effective system. read more
