First and foremost this is one of the neatest Ross Stores in Sacramento it always has been!! Had the worst customer service experience here this evening. The ABSOLUTE RUDEST employee!!! I still literally right in front of her waiting for her to acknowledge me. Stood there for 8 minutes while she ignored me by talking to an employee who was not clocked in. After 8 minutes I said excuse me I would just like to know the price of an item. The employee then stated she couldn't help me and I need to go to the register. I went to the register the associate didn't know the price and told the same girl that ignored me she needed a price. The same employee gave her a price. This is the same employee that lied to me and said she DID NOT know the price. This is unacceptable behaviour for an employee. In addition the store wasn't busy. I am planning on reporting this store employee to the corporate office. I'm so disappointed with this experience. The employee that was rude and unprofessional was Caucasian with dark brown or black hair with a fuchsia streak in the front on the left side. Their process required unlocking the products, selecting, holding until you get to the cash register, and finally passing the items to toe cashier. Workers here were very kind and helpful! I had found a lost fanny pack with someone's belongings inside and gave it to the security guard to have it returned. They thanked me and were very nice about it. When I was checking out my items, the worker was also very positive and definitely made my day, saying how my selections were cute, etc. read more

This Ross in Delta Shores Shopping Center is one of the better Ross Dress for Less in the South Sacramento area. I like buying clothes and I like bargain prices. I usually like to check out Ross and I have found many things I like in the past. But the best items seem I can no longer able to find in the many Ross stores anymore! I can't find many of the good brands in this Ross Dress for Less in Delta Shores either. Maybe I'm here at the wrong times or maybe they can't get it anymore. I don't know! But at least this store is better organized than most of the Ross I have checked out recently. The store is clean and has very good lighting inside. Shopping in this location is comfortable. The parking lot is huge and not too hard to find a parking space close to the store even on the weekends. This is a very safe area for your holiday shopping! read more

I had no idea that Ross carried linens and bedding. Although the selection here is not that big you may be surprised at what they have. And, by the way, don't be afraid to dig through those slightly disorganized aisles. I scored a super nice 6 piece queen set that came with 4 pillowcases at an extremely attractive price point. They don't wipe the counter after every transaction like Marshall's and they all look like they do not want to be there (which I can understand, retail sucks). Even though this Ross is smaller than most, it seems to have WAY better merchandise than the other location in Elk Grove, The store is smaller, but it is also better organized and cleaner than other locations I've seen. They tend to have great women's shoes, make up, skin care and plus size women's items, especially tops. These are usually the departments I frequent so I can't really speak for the others. This tends to be my go to Ross when I'm just looking to pass some time perusing the aisles. Because they're organized, I don't get as frustrated as I would at other Ross stores. My only beef is the lines. There are times when they stretch across the entire store (No joke.) They need to have all registers open when this happens but it doesn't seem like they have enough staff. One time I stood in a long ass line only to find out I could have utilized the much shorter exchange line to also purchase items. Oh well, lesson learned. read more

I don't really shop much at Ross but compared to stores like Marshall's this store seems a bit random. The store itself is clean and the employees are friendly but they have a couple of flaws. Firstly, I wish there was a clearance aisle with discounted prices. I was browsing through their random selection of shorts and some of their prices were still too high. Secondly, their clothes seem to be hung randomly. I noticed they had kid's clothes mixed with adult's clothes. I actually came to this store when they first opened and wasn't impressed. This is my first visit since six months ago and I can easily say my experience was a 10/10. First off, the store is really clean. Usually Ross stores are not only disorganized but just down right dirty. This location is well kept, fully stocked and doesn't smell like a garbage can. Everything was easy to find and they had plenty of options! I'm currently in the process of moving and my mother-in-law and I were shopping for my new place today. We were able to find lots of goodies from kitchen utensils to bath rugs. It was almost a one stop shop for us. They had plenty of options in each department and the prices were very reasonable. When it came time to check out, we had an exchange and were quickly helped. I appreciated the cashier not having an attitude when she saw our full cart. She was patient and kind. Spacious! This store is huge! Visited the new Delta Shores in Sacramento and this was the first store we hit up. We parked our car nearby (got lucky at first slot right in front) and daughter and I did some browsing and ended up buying a few clothing items. It was a nice day and there were a lot of shoppers that Saturday afternoon. The store was well lit, nicely organized, well stocked, and items neatly stacked. The signs on each department/sections were big and clear so navigating was easy. Like any other discount store items are a hit-or-miss. I found a few clothes to try, ended up with a couple that I liked and purchased. My teen always finds something to buy... anywhere we go. The women's dressing room was roomy and the attendant was quick in getting everyone checked in/out. At check-out there were only two cashiers, one for Customer Service and Returns and one for regular purchases. Although the one cashier for purchases was efficient our line could've gone faster with one more attendant helping her. Anyway... I say just give it a few months and it'll be like the rest of the Ross as time passes by! LoL Wouldn't mind coming back to shop here if we're in the area again. I was able to attend the grand opening day and there was a lot of people that came out! The store is a good size and was stocked for its opening day. However, a week later it started to look like any other Ross; bare. Although you dress for less, the materials used are cheap making items last for a short time. I also feel like the furniture is still too pricey for my pockets. Nothing I felt like I had to have but I did buy a really cute fall wreath that looks amazing on my door. Like any discount stores, it can be a hit or miss. I try to come with an open mind, no specific needs, those times are the most successful for me. "Dress for Less" Grand Opening may be tomorrow, but the store is open already! What a great addition to the area. I was saddened when the Ross at Southgate Plaza closed, so now I'm totally happy. This location is one exit away from my normal turnoff. Although I was able to shop this location one day before their "Grand Opening", I didn't buy anything. Sure this shiny new store has the best to choose from being newly stocked with past and current selections, I just didn't need anything. Talk about a hidden gem. I walked here from firehouse crawfish and let me tell you I had a 5 alarm going off in my stomach. The bathroom here is extremely private and not anyone can go in security has to open the hallway door for you and the bathroom is tucked away in its own private corner. The employees (more than one) were extremely rude tonight (2/12/22). I'm not one to post reviews or bad mouth anyone but their customer service was beyond subpar. One employee rolled her eyes and whispering to another worker that I was "in her way" as I was trying to shop. When I looked up at her, both her and the other worker looked at me and hushed up real quick. I looked past that, whatever. Then over the intercom at 9:18 pm another stated verbatim, "attention Ross customers... we will be closing soon. Very soon." Then click. That is not how you inform your customers at all. I spent maybe half hour in there max, and when I went up to checkout, the cashier (who was the announcer) made the same exact announcement and didn't greet me or say a mere hello or even look at me the entire time. It felt unreal at this point. Never have I ever felt such a lack of service in any place or business. And for the record I work in retail management. I'm still in shock at the gall of these closing employees here at this store. I hate to say it but I'm compelled to call corporate over this. It was uncomfortable to say the least. read more

I used to love when Ross used to be cheaper hence their slogan "Ross dress for less." But that's not the case I've seen so many Ross stores just over pricing their clothes that are either cropped, stripped in pieces, or super just overly slutty... like Long sleeve shirts are cropped that to me makes no sense you want sleeves but then you have your belly exposed to the cold ... I guess you get what you pay for but I have always shopped at Ross but their prices are going up more even for just simple jeans that don't have tears and rips and weird paint stains on them for $25 or more it's rediculous but I wished they had more of an actual selection to normal clothing that people do need nothing wild and just torn to hell and back... also the only Plus sized clothing you can get your hands on are just maternity it is what it is but Ross your company isn't what it used to be y'all had good affordable prices but for good clothing that lasted for years not anymore but otherwise it's a super hit or miss finding anything in your size. Otherwise I give this store credit for the greeters are super friendly and always making sure your good and set and also their store is actually organized which is super nice! Let me start by saying I love Delta Shores and have shopped here often. This Ross is really disappointing! It was clean, but the items were really low class, almost like they got everything that didn't sell at other locations? Very few designs of each item, and all were pretty ugly and not stylish. We did find one pair of pants to buy, and stood in a line of two people for an inexcusable amount of time. It was Saturday at 11, why is there ONE cashier? And furthermore, why is she bypassing everyone in line and only handling returns? The customer in front of me was also irritated and asked her. The cashier said, "Only lanes one and two can do returns, and I'm the only one here. I take all the returns first because they go faster." In what world are returns faster than a simple purchase? First time in this Ross, I was just curious to see if I could find something that I may need that is useful, I didn't browse too long because I found what I wanted and was already ready to go. I could say I was surprised at the same time that they carry my favorite type of alkaline h20, BLK baby. Haha. I only found these two in stock, otherwise I would of bought all of them.
