This is a hole in the wall restaurant that is located next to a bar. They have a small lot next to it where you can park. There is also limited street parking out front as well. They do not have indoor dining. They do however, have covered outdoor patio seating. The patio is decent and has Spanish music blasting throughout. The music was way too loud. They had difficulty hearing me when I was placing my order and it made it hard for me to think. The best way to describe this place is cafeteria or Chinese take out style. The food is already pre-made and sitting in pans in the window. I ordered the chicken with fries. It also came with a small salad. It took about 8 minutes to get my food, which considering that it was already pre-made and sitting in a pan ready to go, was a bit longer than I expected. I took my food to-go. It was a ton of food. The fries filled the tray and it filled me up. It tasted ok. You could tell that the chicken had been sitting on the line for a while. I looked a lot better than it tasted. I could not beat the price though. I got all my food for $12. On this Island, that is unheard of. My interaction with the staff was very limited, but they did their job. They were not overly mean or rude, but they were not notably friendly either. If you are looking for inexpensive food (with a gigantic serving), this is your spot. If you are looking for good food, you may want to look elsewhere.

    Happily waiting for my food

great food and service. rum punches and salmon were exceptional. It does stop cooking at 8 but they still had food at 7:30!

This place consistently offers good quality local food. I come here for the delicious white rice, beans, and chicharrones.

We did the bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys -- the drinks were so good, and you can even mix them yourself! I had the bagel sandwich, and it was honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. You have to try it. The location is perfect, right on the boardwalk with beautiful views, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. For dinner, we came back and were just as impressed. I ordered the crab fries -- phenomenal. My boyfriend had pasta with mussels, and it was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. And again -- the drinks were amazing! Nate's Boathouse has great food, incredible drinks, and a perfect island atmosphere.

Family ordered 1lb Steamed Mussels, Crab Cakes platter, Shrimp Tacos, and Caesar Salad. Opted for the Lager Island Life which was lite and refreshing. Prices match the portion size and quality of the plates. Open table concept, with views of the boat harbor. Can get a bit loud with boats revving engines and blasting music. Bill was courteous, friendly and attentive, even sharing a few good stories of his two year tenure. Ask him to share his run in with a Danish patron, wow! Overall, food, service, cleanliness makes this a go to spot again!

It took a while for the hostess to come over to attend our reservation and help us get seated. Its a large and lively space with inside, outside and courtyard seating. Once seated inside, the server too took a while to attend to us. We ordered Mussels for appetizer and it was absolutely great. The broth was tasty and the mussels were delicious. I had the love potion and it was a very delicious drink. My husband didnt enjoy his old fashioned as much and mentioned it didnt have the required sweetness. For dinner we ordered salmon that came with mashed potatoes, cheese burger and plate of ribs. My son thought the burger was one of his favorite gourmet burgers ever. The salmon was well cooked and had a good crust but could have had a little more flavor to it. Feedback on ribs was that it was just okay. We had to be somewhere for an appointment after the dinner and thought that 90 mins was enough to finish dinner but the service was going a bit slow...we ordered few desserts to carry out and they were out of an item, which meant the process took a bit. It seemed like the server was trying to keep up but it was very busy and the space being so large meant she had to go a longer distance, so I sympathize with the time taken, but made us anxious. They also seem to have one restroom for that giant space and that was causing a lot of people to just wait in the hallway for what seemed forever, to use the restroom. Overall food is good but pricey, service could be improved and another restroom should definitely be figured out.

One of us had the crab cake special and they enjoyed that and the 4th in our party had the sirloin which they enjoyed but of course compared to the Wagyu - no comparison. For dessert we had the strawberry cobbler which was also very good. We had a variety of drinks - none of which disappointed. Actually we had not found well crafted cocktails on our trip to the island until we found Estera. The waitresses were attentive without being annoying and they were also fun. The atmosphere was cute, a small upscale location with an open kitchen - which I personally love. Will be back!!

The tuna special was also delightful. The tuna was plentiful and flavorful, very fresh. My entree was the Wagyu special. It was very tasty, the au jus was fantastic. The cut of meat was small but as is with Wagyu. For dessert we had the banana bread. This was my favorite part of the meal! I almost ordered another one. It was soooo sweet and salty and warm and gooey. The caramel drizzle just amplified the flavor. Ambiance was nice. Nicely lit and decorated. There didn't seem to be outdoor seating available. Inside was quite loud. Service was great! Our server was attentive and had good recommendations.
