My bf and I had dinner reservations but needed a quick snack to hold us over for 2 hours so we headed to Pretzeland and ordered 2 pretzels. Service was great and most importantly, the pretzels were delicious! They had a crisp and crunchy shell and were soft and chewy inside. Prices were very reasonable. Pretzeland ranks right up there with Wetzel's Pretzels and Auntie Anne's.

Prices are reasonable and I love that it's a local business. There are so many pretzel varieties from stick to bun to a pretzel croissants. I will miss this place, it's been open for at least 10 years.

I visited on a Sunday after checking hours online to confirm they'd be open (they are!). I pulled off of Decatur and into what I certainly assumed would be the drive thru. In hindsight, it did have a sign that said Mobile App Drive Thru, but I didn't think it was unreasonable to assume that means Mobile App AND Drive Thru given the spacing on the sign. There wasn't another car in sight anywhere near the building. I pulled up to the window, an employee opened it, and asked if I wanted to order. She then informed me their drive thru is around the other side. I think there are plenty of people that would've left at this point, but I pulled around, stopped briefly to look at the menu board (just the board, no clear ORDER HERE box like I'm used to seeing), and pulled up to the window. Wrong again, they actually DO have a speaker in the menu board. When I finally got to the window after my third trip around the building, and placing my order, it was very surprising to find out that the employee that had initially turned me away was the same one that had taken my order and served it to me. I'm not sure why we need two drive thru lines, and I'm even less sure why, on such a quiet business day, she couldn't have just taken my order right away and said "so you know for next time, the line is around the other side."
