This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with it's like they are SCAMMING to keep getting paid by the insurance for supply's you are no longer in need for you can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone or call you back. The supplies have been discontinued by the doctor and they still keep sending and charging they never answer the phone and never call back. I wouldn't suggest you use this SHITTY company take you insurance elsewhere. read more

I provided insurance information 3x. Each time we have to get a long discussion about the information not being in system. My son the patient is uncomfortable scheduling with them because of all hassle he receives. He has hypertension and is on oxygen 24 hours a day. Where is the compassion for the ill? read more

Still no change in service or quality for several years. No concerns for patients, just money. Cannot schedule appointment times even a day before and dictate what time and date they will be there. If patient cannot be there then no service is given. Scheduled for visits are erratic at best. They give you a date and no time, called at 10am to see if could get a time frame and was told no S they were just now loading truck and no schedule so I should just sit and wait till they got there. When I said not happening, they hung up the. Later called back and said between 4 and 5:30 probably. I said I would not be home they asked about supplies and I asked for cannulas and 3 oxygen bottles that could be left at door. I also put out many of the oxygen bottles that have been empty for two years so they could be picked up. Nothing happened. I have been buying supplies due to none service even though they have a VA contract. As long as they have a contract with no controls or oversight they will not improve. VA cares less about the low ratings and numerous patient complaints going back many years. They need competition. read more

I drop off some medical equipment and because I don't have a doctors release I have to sit here for 20 minutes + while they go through a long process of checking in the equipment ????? Note to management why can't we sign a return receipt for the equipment instead of having your customers wait 20 minutes+ in the parking lot... now I understand why they have so many bad ratings.. I CANT GET THRU TO ORDER MY OXYGEN!! THIS IS INSANE! They came right away to sign me up..now I can't get thru on the phones for 3 days!!

ZERO STARS!!! This place has way too many deceitful practices. I am tempted to file a class action lawsuit against them because my story isn't unique judging by the reviews here. They were selected by the hospital to provide an oxygen concentrator and portable oxygen tank when I was released from the hospital in July. I did NOT choose them! They dropped off the equipment to my home after I was discharged from the hospital. They said to give them a call when I needed it to be picked up. I called to let them know that the portable oxygen tank that I was sent home from the hospital with was empty (It only has enough oxygen in it for me to drive home) and I had no way to get to my doctor appointments after being released from the hospital without oxygen. I received no response. The initial technician that dropped off the machine was out due to a funeral so someone else was supposed to help me, but they never did. I also called again to let them know that they could pick up the empty tank. No response. I called three more times. They never answer the phone, but I was able to leave a message. No response to my message. I call back several times--now weeks later. I even received an automated phone message and an email during this time requesting that any equipment that I'm no longer using be returned because of a shortage of equipment due to Covid needs--and the message stated that I could request that it be picked up. When I did FINALLY get in touch with someone from the local office they REFUSED to pick up the equipment because it's only one item. Then I find out a few days later after waiting on hold for 40 minutes on the billing number that they refused to bill the insurance company--instead they have just been charging my husband's credit card for the full amount of the rental. The empty oxygen tank they've refused to pick up. and the other home concentrator machine. This bill is sent via email for August--the FIRST bill or notice I have received from them ever was received on September 14th-- along with a notification that $120 will be deducted from my husband's credit card via AUTO PAY. We did NOT authorize this. I call the National billing office number to make sure they have my insurance information and they say they will correct it, but that I have to seek reimbursement for previous charges directly from my insurance company. The representative said she would send me the documentation I need to do so. I wait. It never arrives. No mention of any other issues with getting it covered. I call again & wait another 45 minutes on hold later in the week (now it's SEPTEMBER 16th) to ask for the documentation and remind them that that the insurance company should be billed. She then says that I have to get an ORDER from my doctor and a letter of medical necessity (LMN) because the one from the hospital is not sufficient now that I'm home. Well, from July to September 19th there's no mention of this at all. No request was ever made asking for records needed in order to use insurance coverage. But why do they expect me to know that they need these things when they have not notified me? Why do they expect me to track down medical records, doctor orders, and letters of medical necessary when I don't know what all that entails and what all needs to be included? I explained that I have doctor notes from my follow up appointments showing that I'm supposed to continue on oxygen, but apparently that's not good enough. Well, if they need something more a.) They need to notify me b.) They need to help me understand what specifically they need in order to bill the insurance company. And quite honestly, they should be responsible for securing that information because they know the medical codes and how all of that works. She rudely stated that it is MY responsibility to get this documentation that I had not been notified of, and had NO idea it was even needed--like I'm some kind of medical billing expert/mind reader? Why isn't the prescription and order from the first doctor enough? If they don't want to do THEIR jobs to bill the insurance company that's one thing --but they need to at least provide me with the documentation to seek reimbursement from the insurance company. Withholding that information for months and withholding information that a DIFFERENT doctor needs to submit a NEW order and letter of necessity now that I'm home from the hospital- all while they charge my husband's credit card for the rental without our consent, and also the CONTINUED billing for an EMPTY TANK that they refused to pick up for 3 months is dishonest and fraudulent! I will call the BBB to see if they are a member and I will find out what other complaints I can file that protect the medical consumer, because this is not right! This company is horrible. First they bill me when I have insurance. They lied to me took card said they needed it incase something happened to equipment. Then took $120 off my card. They made me jump through loops to get my insurance added. And its been months my insurance has paid them. They lie every time I call I get a new answer. I had to do a 3 way call between them and my insurance. They still have not refunded my money. Get your oxygen anywhere but here! What is wrong with companies these days? Ever since the Pandemic, seems companies are falling below the mark on Customer Service, and Rotech Home Health Services is NO BETTER! I had a Stat BiPAP order sent to them from my sleep center the end of January and told to call in 5 business days to check status. Here it is about 3 month and several phone calls (messages) later and I still have not heard hide nor hair from this company, just to even let me know the status of my order. I don't know if Brandon the Manager takes his job seriously or jsut is too busy to call his clients when messages are left. I even contacted Corporate on 3/15/23 and was told they were sending an E-mail to Brandon to call me, here it is over a month later and still, NO CALL. I would understand issues with insurance, not in stock or that, but at least call your clients to keep them apprised of the status or answer them when a message is left. I found out 2 weeks ago that he was waiting for paperwork from my PCP, funny thing was, is that my PCP never received the request until that day!! So who is trying to fool who. As a RN, I wasn't born yesterday!! I would never give such poor Customer Service.. Well I think it is time to write a complaint to the Better Business Bureau as well as Joint Commission about the poor Patient Care they are providing here in Vegas.. No one there is going out of their way to help!! As previously said by another, I would give ZERO if it was a rating! I can only hope Corporate reads these!!! Horrific customer service, lies, and ZERO shame about it. I had an order for a new CPAP machine submitted in late April 2021, however authorization from my insurance provider was not requested until the 2nd week of May. By then I had a new job, and different insurer. That was fine, I simply provided Rotech with the new insurance information. Afterwards, I heard nothing from Rotech, no follow-up and they never answer the phone or return voicemails or emails at the 7340 Smoke Ranch location. Finally, after requesting in an online chat with national customer service, I received a call back on May 22 from Sabrina, who stated that she was a supervisor. Sabrina incorrectly informed me that my CPAP order was still pending and not approved by insurance yet, most likely because it was for purchase and insurance providers only authorize rentals, with usage obligations required for purchase after 10 months. I called my insurance company and none of that turned out to be true. Anthem BCBS received the approval request on May 11 and approved it on May 14th, for full purchase. They emailed me the approved authorization. I immediately called (702) 384-2424 to relay this information to the Las Vegas office to try to expedite this much needed equipment, preventing me from having a normal life. No answer. I've called every day...no answer, left voicemails...no return, hit zero for the operator and for the only time in 1 month of phone calls I got an answer and told the lady everything, and repeated multiple times that I had the notice of determination and was ready to send it in....she repeatedly told me not to because she was messaging someone to call me back.....they never did. So I emailed the attachment anyway....no response. They're closed on the weekends, so I started back calling at the beginning of the week and leaving voicemails. Nobody. I'm giving the two stars instead of one because when I needed the oxygen after returning home from the hospital they came right over with supplies. The tech was very informative and friendly. Now for the annoying part..... I am a cash patient so I had to pay 120 a month. When my oxygen was discontinued after three months on 3/25, they were notified by my dr to pick it up. Many calls later it was picked up on 4/14. Then I saw that we were charged again on 3/30 so I called for a refund and was told that they don't prorate. I have to pay 120 for three days! read more

Absolutely the worst customer service. I was released from the hospital 2 weeks ago. The hospital ordered that I have an oxygen machine and 5 mobile tanks. The prescription was written Nov 24 2021. They delivered a tank to the hospital and I was told that someone would be calling me to set up a delivery for my home machine. I call Monday NOV 29 a left a message at 8:30 am. I get a return phone call 4 hrs later. I was told that I missed the cut off time for delivery and I would have to wait until next Monday. I asked what I supposed to do until then, I was told if it's that important I could send someone to pick it up. My friend did and asked what about the oxygen tanks. He was told that I am not entitled to them because I don't have insurance. He called me from the office and asked him to give the woman behind the counter the phone. I asked why I could not get any tanks, I would gladly pay the deposits on the tanks. She NO that's not how it works. She gave my friend the machine. He brought it in, I noticed that the humidifier tank was missing. I called again, 4 hrs later Dottie E called, I asked why was the humidifier tank missing, he response was I need a special prescription for it. I asked if that's the case why are all machines build with a space to store it. I was told I was wrong. This is now the second Monday with no service. BTW they charged my credit card 2x. read more

Recently our Provider over ordered wound vac rental $2500, canister sets $1250, foam dressings $2650. outrageous cost to medicare and secondary. Waiting to get medicare etc insurance info. The problem is over ordering by providers, non returnable for unnecessary and unused supplies, and medicare contracts will NOT take back perfectly good supplies. ITS ONE BIG FRAUD and over charges to seniors. I will take it up with the powers that be, fight this and hope others will not take more then needed. The provider, Rotech and medicare are at fault. They aren't making oxygen deliveries for the present. The Reno, NV and national offices are are answering their calls. I've been calling for a week now as I am out of oxygen class E and C bottles. This forces me to miss appointments and sit at home waiting for an oxygen delivery that, thus far, hasn't been made. They are a contract supplier for the VA. My husband had a bypass and ended up catching pneumonia in the hospital during his recovery. He was sent home with a portable oxygen tank and a machine was delivered to our home. He had a doctor appointment and that used up his portable tank. He needed another for an upcoming appointment. Started calling at 9am and left many messages as no one ever answered. Late in the afternoon he asked me to just go to their location and get another tank. When l got there it was an empty building. Turns out they moved. How hard would it be to leave a sign in the window with the new address? Or change the address on their message? Luckily someone finally called him back at 4:30 and he got the address so l could try again to pick up a tank. After reading other reviews it is clear this company should not be anywhere near vulnerable patients! read more

My mother needed an oxygen concentrator due to a chronic and terminal condition. She got one from Vital Care through the VA. She was 100% covered. When she passed, I called to have them pick up the concentrator and tank. They then called me to say that she owed over $200. They said she was only 75% covered. We've NEVER gotten a bill before. Then she dies, and suddenly they want to collect money?! This is a ploy to gouge the loved ones left behind to settle affairs, hoping that we will just pay and move on due to grief. My mom was forced to use this company when she was discharged from the hospital because she has medicaid. She unfortunately passed away a week after coming home. The day after she passed, I called ALL day (from 8am-5pm), and got their answering service every time. Finally, about a week later I was able to call again and have someone answer. I told them of her passing and asked that they come pick up their equipment. I foolishly did not get the girls name, but she told me their tech would be in the area Tuesday (4 days later). Well, I've been sitting at home all day waiting for them to show up. Tried calling around 2pm, and got the answering service. Called again about 4:45 and the lady who answered told me a ticket was never submitted for a pick up! She was very nice and asked if I would like them to come Wednesday (tomorrow). So, apparently they are able to come any day. After I told her I had some legal obligations to take care of tomorrow she assured me that they will come on Thursday to pick up their equipment. Hopefully they do. If not, I will load it up in my car and take it back myself. read more

My Pulomonologist wrote an order for a portable oxygen concentrator on 1/22/2020. I still havent received one. They told me they're not supplying portable oxygen concentrators due to covid19. Makes absolutely no sense at all. This was ordered in January well before covid19 disruptions. I contacted Rotech, Inc in Florida who is their parent company on 5/4/2020. I have never been treated so bad as my experience with Vitalcare/Rotech in my 80 years of life. I received a call that Vitalcare would be supplying my new Bi-Pap Machine and an appointment was set for 1:00 PM for me to pick it up and select a mask. I was at their office on Post Rd at 12:46 only to find the front door to be confusing but all locked. I went back to my car and called but received voice mail and left message I was parked in front of their office for my 1:00 PM appointment. At 1:00 PM I went back to the front door and it was still locked and no one came to unlock it but I could see people inside so I went back to my car and called again but again received voicemail. As I was about to leave at 1:15 PM I saw someone with keys come from outside to unlock the door so I immediately went to the door to get in. This was only the beginning as two ladies were sitting at desks behind counter and I told them I had 1:00 PM appointment----one said have a seat and someone would be with me soon. About every 15 minutes for at least an hour I asked when I would be helped and was same answer----soon. At 2:15 I said I was going to leave if they could not help me so in about 10 minutes a gentleman came out and led me to a cluttered office and began showing me masks and explaining the new machine. I selected the mask, he packed the machine back and said I could wait out front for the paperwork. They appeared to be having problems with computer or printer as I sat and waited about 15-20 more minutes and I had to ask what am I waiting for? They now said they didn't have approval from my Insurance Company. After another 30 minutes I said I was leaving with or without the machine----at that time they said I would have to pay my portion of deductible which I paid $71.42 and signed the paperwork they had produced. In about 1 month I received a bill for $1,197.09 from Rotech located in Orlando Florida for the Bi Pap Machine. I immediately called to see why my Insurance Co had not paid and found Vitalcare was not an in network supplier for United Health Care-Focus and they wanted their machine back. I immediately packed the machine in its carrier and told Vitalcare to bring my $72.41 to my home and I would give them the mask and machine back which they have refused to do. This has now been over 2 months ago and each time I get a bill I call them and tell them to bring my $72.41 and the machine is packed and ready to go. Now they have threatened to turn me over to collections and the credit bureaus. I am now going to file complaint with Medicare in hopes they would not do business with such a dishonest and unscrupulous company Robert Cochran read more

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the staff at VitalCare. My husband was being discharged from the hospital and we were in dire need of a hospital bed. Due to Covid, hospital beds are in high demand. Robert at VitalCare was able to secure one for me. The gentleman that did the delivery and setup was very courteous and efficient in the setup. This being a different bed than they usually use, we did run into a small problem with the power hookup. The gentleman promptly called a co-worker (who was more familiar with the bed) who came and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, my husband is a larger man and that bed proved to be too small for him. Robert went above and beyond to find me another bed. He even personally delivered and set it up . All of the staff at VitalCare responded quickly and were all so professional and caring. I am very grateful they were here in our time of need. Thank you so much for the service you provide to our community. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and you are very much appreciated! read more

I have sleep apnea. No one asked me whether my issue was breathing in or out. It's breathing out. They sent me a cpap. This thing forces air in. I still can't breath out. The instructions are so small I can't read it. There was a flyer in the box for their app. I downloaded it as it said there was no money involved. Once I tried to open it it charged my CC 40 dollars. I called Rotech and they seemed bewildered but offered no solution. Fortunately by bank blocked it as fraud. About 4 days later my CC was used again fraudulently for 800 dollars. Fortunately again, the seller of the item, called me to confirm I made the purchase. I had to cancel my card. Then compliance called me but I didn't answer. So I called back locally. Got into a discussion about how I need to go down to their office every month and bring the sd chip from the machine. I told them I'll just return the whole thing if that's the case. I found out it wasn't true when I called back about something else. Then I get an email about them sending me a package. I didn't order anything. I called again, the girl was not pleasent and told me "well you clicked the restock option". Yeah well I certainly don't remember this. Now they're sending me a bill for the stuff they sent that I don't need. When I called about returning it I was told they can't take it back. So they send you stuff you don't need nor requested and make you pay for it. Another 40 bucks. What a scam. What a horrible company. We had to have oxygen when we left the hospital. It was dropped off and they had my credit card on file. In September the doctor sent an order to pick up the equipment but Rotech never came to get it. We again called the beginning of October to have them pick up the equipment which they finally did but they charged me for the month. When I called to get the charges reversed I was told she was unable to reverse him. Very poor customer service. read more
