Explained to them that, without a power chair, I have not even been able to leave my house. I had the required assessment done with my doctor, and heard nothing from them for weeks. Finally found out after repeated calls to them that my doctor had done the paperwork incorrectly. Got it fixed with my doctor. heard nothing from them again. After a few more weeks of calling, finally found out that they also required a physical therapy evaluation. They were supposed to schedule it. finally scheduled it myself when they never called me back. Physical therapist sent them the paperwork within two days. A week and a half later, I started calling again, and was told they were waiting for the paperwork to be signed off from my doctor. Another week later, I called back and found out they had not even sent the paperwork to be signed off by the doctor until almost a week after they claimed they had. The doctor assessment done on March 31 was valid for 90 days. They never mailed the PT assessment to be signed off until July 1, the day the doctor's assessment expired. They were not timely, not organized, difficult to contact, did not keep me accurately informed about what was still needed, and delayed everything for a period of three and a half months. It was frustrating, time-consuming, and in the end, all for nothing I now have to begin the entire procedure again (with another company) in order to obtain my power chair. Which, as the other company informs me, should be in about four weeks, start to finish. Sadly, Advanced medical Equipment chose to waste three and a half months of my time before I found this out. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Today I had a sales person I believe her name was Melinda W she was the first kind clerk I have had help me in there with kindness and a professional attitude. She was not pushy and tried hard to get me what I wanted. I was surprise since in the past the service was so negative and unkind. I hope they have changed their service to a "nice helpful kind" of service. Melinda was very sweet and I hope she is there when I go back again. Thank you Melinda for the great professional service.

Hocks recently opened an expanded version of their medical supply store. This new store is also…read morethe site of their online warehouse. I have no business or need to go there, except for one reason; my sister can only find a particular sensitive skin cleanser that she insists on for her children through them and because she does not want to pay shipping charges. So being the kind person that I am, once a year, I go to Hocks to pick up a years supply of this cleanser for her. She makes all the arrangements, I just do as I am told. I had no idea that they had opened up a new store. The new one has every possible apparatus, etc that you can imagine using for at-home use while recovering from surgery, etc. The clerk working could not find my order. I was annoyed to death. Apparently, no instructions were left for the staff, and whoever handled my sister's order was not available and could not be reached. I was told that the store and the website were separate entities though they were housed in the same building. The clerk had no idea where to find my order. Driving 30 minutes out of our way did not make me happy nor did it please my already irritated husband. An hour later, after already passing the Indiana border, the clerk calls to tell me that she located my order and did I want to come back and pick it up? Sure, how about sending it to me and waiving the shipping fees? No way in hell would I double back. Lucky for my sister she agreed.

Another poor lady was there for 4 hours!! When she asked if there was anyone who could help all of us who were waiting, his response was "Unfortunately we're very shorthanded at this time. Everyone either got fired or quit". The young man who works there is extremely kind, is very knowledgeable and, I'm assuming, is the manager. And if he's not the manager, he should be!! I would recommend coming here because they have a good selection of inventory but make sure to get the young man to help you...he's awesome!!

She needed from me an updated order, (I guess the Nov. 9, 2018 order wasn't recent enough) and a face to face meeting and by the way your insurance is out of network. I told her that my paperwork laid in their office way too long, I wasn't going to pay out of network fees to them and not to pursue it because I will be going elsewhere..

After a repairman was just here the day before, putting in 2 new batteries, costing me $471.00 the stair lift chair quick working AGAIN. I'm 87 years old with multiple surgeries and don't feel like having to put up with a snotty woman because I was mad and yelling about the chair quitting next day.
